All I want for the holidays is the secret potion that’ll help me resist my brother’s new business partner. You know, the super hot, super sweet, super smart guy I now have to plan the holiday party with.I mean, really. Who thought THAT was a good idea?Oh, me. Yep, brilliant, strategic me who raised her hand and said yes I’d love to hang mistletoe with that sexy former sports star. I’d love to … love to taste test spiked hot chocolate with that charming, flirty man. I’d love to get snowed in with the one guy I shouldn’t fall for.
As long as I can make it through the holidays I’ll be on my merry way, fa la la la la. But the holidays have a surprise for me.

What a truly wonderful, fun and over way too quick, read. I would have loved more time with Vaughn and Quinn, two people burned in the past, unwilling to forego anymore pain or hurt. So what do they do? They swear off relationships and concentrate on their budding careers. Fate has other plans though, and when Quinn’s brother (Vaughn’s business partner) sets them up to organise the company Christmas part, their chemistry is just too much to ignore. They both seem to think it’s only going to be a temporary fling for the holidays (yeh right, famous last words). A quick, sweet, angst-free read. I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest review.

This is an awesome novella and I loved it so much. I only wish it were longer. It stars, Vaughn who in the last book joins up with Haven, Josh and Ford to form their own sports agent agency. Vaughn is planning on opening up a Florida office for his new company and so he is still in NYC but very anti dating and love after a bad relationship.
Josh has a sister, Quinn who is a party planner and so he asks her to plan a holiday party with his new business partner Vaughn and that is how the two meet and get to know each other. Quinn is also out of a bad relationship so she is totally free to check out party locations with Vaughn and so the fun begins.
But Josh is leaving at the end of the year to open the new office and be closer to his family and Quinn is a very happy New Yorker. With a time limit on anything developing the pressure is on.
This was a fun holiday romance with pretty much instalust and some hot scenes. Quinn and Vaughn are really cutesy and big flirters and it was fun watching them fall for each other.
Special Delivery by Lauren Blakely
Special Delivery is such a cute, quick holiday read and features Vaughn and Quinn – characters we previously met and eagerly anticipated. The two have instant chemistry but there’s a small problem: both have sworn off dating or any other entanglement and have vowed to focus only on themselves and their careers. But what can you do what you have so much in common? Who could help themselves, dammit, when there’s mistletoe hanging there practically demanding some action? Clearly not Vaughn and Quinn.
As I said, this was a sweet and sexy read and full of all the Christmassy things most of us love. The attraction was there, the banter was there, the story was solid. A delightful Christmas novella to get you set up for the season.
*I voluntarily read an early copy of this book.

Special Delivery is a perfect novella to get you in the holiday spirit (I seriously need a hot chocolate bar and my christmas decoration up now). As usual with Lauren Blakely characters, Vaughn and Quinn were realistic and relatable. The flirting banter was great and reminicent of how fun the beginnings of a relationship can be. This was definitely an instalove story but the characters were mature and honest about everything, there was no games or unnecessary angst. While Special Delivery is a stand alone, there are characters from previous books that make guest appearances… I seriously love how Lauren Blakely intertwines her characters and brings them in for future books! Amy’s book is next and I can’t wait to find out more about the book lover!
Quinn is Josh’s sister and a party planner, he asks for her help for his company christmas party and asks Vaughn to tag along. Both Vaughn and Quinn are on a dating diet after being badly hurt recently. Their instant attraction and funny banter makes it hard for them not to fall for each other. This entertaining, heartwarming sexy story, will leave you reaching for the hot chocolate and dreaming of kissing under the mistletoe.
Lauren Blakely’s “Special Delivery” was a cute, sweet holiday novella, and I found it to be a wonderful way to start getting into the Christmas spirit. The main characters, Quinn and Vaughn, were briefly introduced in the previous book of the Always Satisfied series (“Overnight Service”), but even so, this novella is a complete standalone. I liked both Vaughn and Quinn very much upon first meeting them, and they were even more likeable as the stars of this novella.
As the story begins, both Quinn and Vaughn have sworn off dating because each of their last relationships ended badly, so they’ve both decided to put all of their focus on their careers. However, from the moment they meet their chemistry is off the charts, and they can’t help but begin a not-so-innocent flirtation. Their banter as they get to know each other is incredibly amusing, and I especially enjoyed their discussion of childhood “dark secrets” during their first meeting. Quinn and Vaughn’s outgoing, fun-loving personalities were a perfect match for each other, and watching them fall in love was delightful.
I have loved each and every one of the stories in the Always Satisfied series, and while I am sad to see the series end, “Special Delivery” was a great way to wrap things up. I can’t wait to get my hands on the first book in Ms. Blakely’s next series!

Gaaahhh!!!! Swooning!!!!
Lauren has out done herself again!!
Special Delivery is about Josh’s sister, Quinn, and his business partner, Vaughn. Josh decides to throw a Christmas party under the impression of getting the two to work together because he hates party planning. Since Quinn is a party planner and Vaughn loves Christmas, it was the perfect plan. The two “meet” to scout venues and discuss party details all while falling more and more for each other. There was nothing they could do about their feelings especially since the both of them had sworn of relationships. Sometimes life has different plans for you and there’s not you can do as they found out.
This book kept a smile on my face the entire time with a couple of sad moments in between. Over all this book was a great easy read and one you will definitely enjoy!!
What a lovely little holiday novella by Ms. Blakely!
The chemistry between Vaughn and Quinn was instant and hotter than a chestnut roasting over an open fire!
The flirt game between them was amazing. Double entendres aplenty! I also liked that there was no drama when they announced their relationship. There was a small, tiny bit of angst but that just makes the story all the sweeter.
If you are looking for a fun, flirty, smexy holiday romance, get your hands on this!
Spoiler alert: This book will leave you in the Christmas spirit. There was so much to love about this Christmas novella from Lauren Blakely.
Quinn is an event planner, so when her brother, Josh, hires her to plan his companies holiday party. Of course, one the partners Vaughn is the one who gets to work closely with Quinn. What he doesn’t expect? This woman to check all of his boxes and to ruin is diet.
The chemistry between Vaughn and Quinn was instant. They tried to fight their connections because they had to work together to plan the holiday party, however, the more time they spent together the harder it became to fight the connection and the chemistry between them.
Despite being a novella, this is probably one of my favorite books from Lauren Blakely. I loved the chemistry between Vaughn and Quinn and their story was full of Christmas magic. This book seriously just warms your heart and will having you falling love with these characters.
Special Delivery is sweet, steamy and full of all the Holiday feels. A MUST READ!
A Delightful Holiday Romance with a Very Special Delivery
Vaughn is all ready to pack up and move to Florida to expand his and Josh’s business. He’s also on a no chick diet. Little does he expect meeting Josh’s sister, Quinn, changes his plans completely.
Quinn also has been determinedly focused on her work. Avoiding potential heartbreak. Then she walks into a dinner meeting with her brother and the hot, talk drink of water that is his business partner, Vaughn.
They are perfect for each other, and this fun, steamy, fast read delivers! Love it! A great holiday novella.

4.5 star review of Special Delivery (Always Satisfied #5) by Lauren Blakely
Special Delivery is a fun book that ticked the boxes for me. It is smoking hot with spicy scenes based around the festive season.
We met Quinn and Vaughn in Overnight Service and got the feeling that their story was going to be something special.
I fell hard and fast for Vaughn and honestly he just melted my heart; Quinn is one of those women that you could easily see as a friend, strong, determined and focused.
The dynamic between Quinn and Vaughn was entertaining, flirty and they had me laughing with their banter.
Of course the chemistry between them was smoking hot and I loved that previous characters made an appearance.
A feel good novella that will get you in the mood for the holiday season.
Special Delivery is a quick, charming, holiday read, and the 5th book in the Always Satisfied series. We did meet both Quinn and Vaughn in the 4th book but it’s still a standalone. Quinn’s brother, and Vaughn’s coworker, Josh, asks Vaughn and Quinn to work together on their upcoming office holiday party. Sparks fly right away and they begin an exciting, holiday fling. The banter was so great between these two! Both are excellent characters. Quinn is an event planner, doesn’t like surprises, loves to know exactly what is going to happen. While Vaughn is a pro footballer turned sports agent, he flies by the seat of his pants and is just an all around great guy. They seem like they’d be total opposites, but their relationship works so well. I loved all the holiday scenes! So many amazing holiday traditions were added throughout, and it makes me eagerly anticipate this holiday season! It’s a sweet, fun holiday read and I would highly recommend it.
*I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Special Delivery is the most charming holiday treat from Lauren Blakely. A sigh-worthy novella that features Quinn and Vaughn and ‘the fall in love when you really didn’t have any intention to but can’t possibly help yourself’ kind of story. Oh these two have an evident chemistry right from the start as they meet to discuss Vaughn’s plans for a Christmas party with Quinn as his planner.
I loved their inner thoughts as they fight the fierce attraction they feel towards one another and thankfully, Blakely puts them and us out of our misery as they have no choice but to succumb to their desires. Both smart and witty, Quinn and Vaughn are a couple worth rooting for, knowing they can figure out any and all obstacles and find that delicious happiness that Blakely always delivers beautifully.
To warm up a chilly night, grab Special Delivery and find the merry during this most magical time of year. Vaughn and Quinn are sheer delight and I couldn’t give this novella any less than 5 sweet stars!
Sexy, fun, quick holiday read. Special Delivery is book 5 in the series but can be read as a standalone. Quinn and Vaughn are a sexy couple that know what they want and go after it. Both have sworn off love and the opposite sex until they met each other. The chemistry between each other is off the charts. I love Quinn’s character and that she is not a wishy washy female. She knows what she wants and she goes for it. When she has questions, she asks. I love these types of character qualities.
Fun easy read that doesn’t allow you to put it down.
*I received this as an advanced reader copy for my honest opinion.
AMAZING! Vaughn and Quinn are perfect! Lauren Blakely will always be the queen of Rom Com for me and Special Delivery did not disappoint! Equal parts heat and heart this is my top favorite so far!
What a sweet and light story! just in time for the holidays! this story will give you all the right feels.
A short-ish sweet Christmassy book to get you in the holiday spirit!
I really liked this book, like the others in this series it was easy to pick up and read.
I loved Vaughn and Quinn’s story, even though it was shorter than the others i don’t feel short changed, it was the perfect size for their story. It still had me falling madly in love with the characters.
Quinn i really liked, she was easy to read and like, i haven’t got a bad word against her.
Vaughn was amazing, i liked him in the other books so when i saw him getting his own book i was so excited!
Lauren Blakely does it again!

Special Delivery is a delicious holiday novella by one of my favorite authors, Lauren Blakely.
Vaughn Channing is a former football player that now owns a sports agency with three other partners. He’s laid back, has charm for days and is currently planning to move to Miami to open another branch of the successful business he and his friends have started.
Quinn Cummings is an event planner, who also happens to be the sister of one of Vaughn’s business partners. Due to her profession, she’s been chosen to coordinate the company’s holiday party. She’s very organized, detail-oriented and she’s currently focusing only on her work as a way to get over a bad break-up. She’s currently sworn off men.
When Vaughn and Quinn come together to begin work on planning the holiday party, the last thing these two expected was the sparks that immediately began flying between them. For two people who have sworn off love and dating, the chemistry is off the charts and it’s clear they enjoy spending time together. When the two get together to scout venues for the party, they clearly aren’t supposed to be dates, however they very much feel like perfect dates! With Vaughn planning to move away, along with not wanting a relationship and Quinn having sworn off men, the timing isn’t great, but is it ever?
While they know there is a time limit on the relationship, the two embark on what turns out to be more than either of them ever anticipated. Will they really be able to walk away after the holidays, or will fate have another idea?
This was a perfect, sweet, sexy holiday romance! I am really looking forward to Amy’s book next as well!
Special Delivery was a wonderful, entertaining novella that was fun to read and with characters that made me laugh!
The chemistry between Quinn and Vaughn was like they had been friends for years! They just seemed to be on each others wave length!
And what better way to get to know someone than by organizing a Christmas party!
You are definitely in for a treat with this quick read!
Add it to your tbr list today!
Delightful, witty love story!
Vaughn and Quinn have both sworn off dating, but when her brother pairs them up to plan the company’s Christmas party, they find that they have so much in common that they just can’t stick to their dating diets.
Quinn is a wonderfully quirky heroine, and Vaughn is as drop-dead swoon-worthy as any book boyfriend ever was. The writing is quick-witting and humorous, with all the steam a gal can want and a beautiful HEA with an epilogue that elicited more than a few contented sighs. It’s a perfectly romantic novella, and I highly recommend it. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
