All I want for the holidays is the secret potion that’ll help me resist my brother’s new business partner. You know, the super hot, super sweet, super smart guy I now have to plan the holiday party with.I mean, really. Who thought THAT was a good idea?Oh, me. Yep, brilliant, strategic me who raised her hand and said yes I’d love to hang mistletoe with that sexy former sports star. I’d love to … love to taste test spiked hot chocolate with that charming, flirty man. I’d love to get snowed in with the one guy I shouldn’t fall for.
As long as I can make it through the holidays I’ll be on my merry way, fa la la la la. But the holidays have a surprise for me.

This book contains two novellas. Though I enjoyed them both, the first, Special Delivery, was definitely my favorite. The second is titled Nobody Does It Better. Great stories for when you want an evening read.
Two romantic and steamy stories.
For two people determined to not fall for someone Vaughn and Quinn just keep justifying what is happening between them as temporary. Both see the end coming in just a few weeks when Vaughn moves to Florida so they feel safe in letting things happen organically. If only their hearts understood how all that was supposed to work.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Quinn and Vaughn have an undeniable, instant attraction but their timing isn’t great. How will the two deal with a shock neither sees coming?
This book kept me engaged from the beginning to the end!
Both stories were great! LOVE this author!
Overall impression is completely unrealistic. Meet, instant chemistry, fall into bed over and over during a couple weeks then realize you weren’t interested in long term relationship and now you’re wishing you hadn’t made a deal with yourself not to date–these were thoughts of both the man and the woman! Not many couples meet and get married in 3 months…and live HEA.
Such a cute and quick Christmas read. Highly recommend it.
Both novellas are a lot of fun .. silly in part … very steamy in some parts but not so much that you end up skimming past the biology class. I really liked them both. They had great world building without taking forever to do it. They had twists and issues, which made them intriguing. And they both made me smile and laugh at times.

The couple is cute, the story sweet and funny, and the narrators clearly are having fun.
Are you looking for a lot of drama and heartache? This book isn’t for you. Do you want to laugh and be entertained? This is a winner!
Quinn and Vaughan both individually make a pact that they are going to stay single and make work comes first.
All that changes at a dinner meeting. They are instantly drawn to each other and the spark are immediate. They try to remain professional all the while haven’t “work” dates that just force them to be in the same orbit.
This book is fast paced and sweet and yet hot at the same time. My only complaint was it felt like the ending was rushed. We got this great buildup and then it was over.
3.5 out of 5. Super cute, super christmasy, and sexy to boot.
I think I’ve made it clear lately that I love series and books that interconnect and so Special Delivery already has a mark in the plus column. Add to that instant chemistry, witty banner, sexy steamy bits, and just enough emotion to tug at your heartstrings just a bit – and this was a winner for me. Now, there is a plot device that some people dislike, but as a victim of said plot device in my real life (multiple times), I don’t mind it at all. Especially when it’s handled well and ya girl Laura Blakely did indeed handle it well (IMHO). So in other words, a good time was had by all in the consumption of this book 🙂
Audiobook: Narrator – Andi Arndt & Dan Bittner
I enjoyed both of these narrators. Nothing exceptional, but I wasn’t aggravated by anything in their performance and while everyone has different criteria for what they like in narration, that is the first box that must be checked for me. Check.
This was a cute, sweet, and steamy Christmas story that didn’t have near the angst I expected when I began, which I was actually surprised and pleased about. It’s not a long book so I was able to listen to it while doing errands one afternoon. I enjoyed the banter between the hero and heroine as well as what little drama there was. Not a spectacular read/listen, but very nice to fill in the time between longer listens…especially during the holidays.
Short and sweet with a side of steam, this novella delivers likable characters. This brother’s friend/accidental pregnancy story is low on angst and high on the feel good feelings.
quick, wonderful, easy read. quinn & vaughan are an adorable couple. currently reading sister amy’s story in Asking for a Friend!!
SPOILERS
This was a really cute and short sweet holiday surprise baby book. I should have known it was a surprise baby book by the fact that it was called: “Special Delivery”. This is part of a world/series but it can be read as a stand alone. I really liked this one! This is my first Lauren Blakely.
5 Cranky Stars
This book was the perfect holiday romance read. I enjoyed every word and feel like I know the characters.
Quinn is a planner. She needs to know everything down to the last detail. She hates surprises and even opened all her Christmas presents before Christmas.
Vaughn loves the holidays but hates eggnog. He is successful and loves his company. After swearing off relationships he is knocked for a loop when he meets his business partners sister, the party planner.
This feel good super sexy story was the perfect pre-holiday read. Lauren Blakley outdid herself with this quick read.
Special Delivery is a quick, steamy holiday novella. I loved the instant chemistry between Vaughn and Quinn and their witty banter is adorable. #couplegoals This checks all the boxes to get you in the holiday mood!
Special everything!
These two are an utter delight! They have the chemistry, the wonderful personalities, and mesh so well. It’s like all you favorite parts of meet cutesy, romantic movies, and fantasies have all converged and had a “Special Deluvery.”
Its sexy, sweet, and so damn adorable its impossible not to love!
5 stars
I purchased a copy of the short steamy holiday novel Special Delivery: Always Satisfied:Vaughn and Quinn by Lauren Blakely and this review was given freely.
A flirty and steamy rapidly escalating romance with instant attraction, an unexpected surprise, and a happy ending. Ex San Francisco Renegade tight end Vaughn Channing and party planner Quinn take vows of celibacy and to focus on their careers until Quinn’s brother Josh puts them together to plan the office Christmas party.
All I want for the holidays is the willpower to resist my brother’s sexy, charming, easy-on-the-eyes new business partner. This was a very sweet insta-love story, the story line was fast and sweet and the characters were overly sweet and yes I know I use the word sweet a lot lol but that is exactly what this book is a sweet and fast read.
