What doesn’t kill you will make you stronger.Or so the saying goes. That was before Trip Cohen entered my life and dragged me to the depths of hell.I don’t need anyone to save me but the K-Boys have other plans. The final book in the dark, gritty, reverse harem, Sparrowood Academy Series.
Eden and the K-boys have been put through the wringer all thanks to Trip Cohen. Eden does something that she swore never to do in the last book, and now she has much to do to put her mind and heart on the same page. She finds her sister, who is not the hero she thought she was, and that in itself makes her doubt herself. What she doesn’t doubt is the love of her K-boys. They are always there when she needs them to be, with the love and support that she needs. She learns to trust them and herself, and brings an end to the rule of those that would harm others at Sparrowood. This is absolutely the perfect ending to this series. These characters have come a long way from where they started and it makes me happy that they got their happy ever after.
3.5 stars
“We didn’t play truth or dare in The Park. Just walking down the street was the dare. Looking in the mirror was the truth.”
The final book in the series. I like how it ended. It was better than the second book. The final showdown with Trip was okay. I wasn’t too overly thrilled but it didn’t end horribly. I was afraid that the ending would have been rushed since it is a trilogy, but luckily it didn’t.
I will probably read more of Lawson in the future.
5 Stars for Sparrowood Academy book 3. Holy crap on a cracker what a great ending that was to a great series. Eden and her K-Boys face a lot in the book and in order to come out ahead of it they are going to need to fully trust each other and be a unit. All of them .
“I have something Hope never did. Trust in three boys that love and cherish me. Faith in the man next to me”
This is a series that will stick with me for awhile I can promise that. If you love dark suspense , bully romance and Reverse Harem then this is a series for you.
I am torn between doing the happy dance and sobbing pitifully. I’m sad this is the end of the series, but my oh my did I cheer Eden and her guys on! In typical form there’s lots of darkness involved. However to get too a rainbow there must typically be some darkness first. This book begins with Eden finally finding and speaking to her sister Hope. Is it all she’s dreamed of? My lips are sealed. This year Eden is determined to clear away the evil and decay within the school. She refuses to play the game, and longs to help the younger girls view life the same. Helping them gain some semblance of self worth. Will Trip FINALLY trip up and come tumbling down? What’s next for Eden? I LOVED no matter what was thrown her way, it only strengthened her resolve. Eden was tough on the outside but has a huge heart that just wants to protect those who need a sliver of kindness. In today’s world this spoke to me! Three cheers for Eden and the K Boys…and make sure you have some Kleenex handy. Such a beautiful story about redemption and self worth!!
