The characters in this story are top notch, the depth and dimension they have is amazing. The characters you like you really want to root for and the jerks…you will hate them for all the right reasons. The story and characters are wonderfully balanced and complement each other seamlessly.

This book was entertaining but I just couldn’t give it more stars because I just didn’t like Blaze. I found her to be too whiny and her running away so many times a little too redundant. But Jason was great and was overall an entertaining read.
Just the absolute best story. It had me captivated from the beginning with the hot steamy scenes. I really enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend it! Everything I like to read about and more. Such a great story I will read again and again. A keeper!!

Jason and Blaze
I loved Sparks of Love which is Book Two in the Love Demands a Holiday series by McKenna Rogue. The story of Blaze and Jason was a lovely and emotional story. You just feel for Blaze having grown up without her mother after she died and with a domineering and critical father. The poor young woman just did not have a hope of getting out of that situation without some major emotional scars and a lot of self-esteem issues.
But as she and Jason pursue a relationship he is so good to her and for her, even when she does not think she is good enough for him, or really to be loved.
This is a baseball themed romance with Jason as the ball player and Blaze a trainer and massage therapist. When he gets injured and goes to her they discover that they already know each other from a night not that long ago when they met at a bar.
I thought this story was written with a lot of love and care as to addressing Blaze’s self-esteem and emotional scars that she has. It was not too heavy but also did not skirt around the subject entirely. Instead it showed how with Jason’s attention and love she realized that she is worth being loved, which is what we all want.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Blaze and Jason. He’s a second baseman who is currently playing in the minors. He’s a loner, cocky and everyone feels he’s selfish. Blaze is a trainer/massage therapist who lost mother when younger and in her family’s eyes is not good enough. with a chance meeting at a bar the night of her best friend’s bachelorette party, Blaze and Jason hit it off. Unfortunately blade his family keeps shoving Larry, at her. On Blaze and Jason’s relationship heats up she freaks because she thinks she’s not good enough for him. They both follow their dreams and end up with an HEA.

This was a good read. it was a quick and easy beach day read. It took awhile to warm up to Blaze but I’m glad she got her HEA.
This is a well written book with strong likable characters in Blaze and Jason. The author gives them a strong connection and a hot chemistry and weaves an interesting story with a few twists along the way as well as the obstacles in their path to their HEA. It’s a short fast paced book and I enjoyed reading.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
This was an enjoyable sports/curvy girl romance. The story was well written and moved along quickly. The characters were very well developed and had flaws any reader could relate to and empathize with.
Blaze is a sport rehabilitation and massage technician who is looking to work with only athletes. Jason is a driven minor baseball player on the cusp of getting into the majors. They meet in a bar and hit it off, but she has a friend emergency has leaves before they exchange contact info. Jason gets hurt and is sent to her for rehab. They agree to discreetly hookup, but it develops into more. They have to work out a few issues, but end up together with a HEA. Make sure to download the extended epilogue at the end of the book!

Blaze and Jason two unlikely people who have been feeling lonely and frustrated with their careers. Fascinating characters as Jason is first portrayed as a hot shot player, but seems to do a 180 once he meets Blaze. While Blaze is the typical curvy girl shy and not showing her true self. These two bring out the best in each other, now only if they can go after what they want in both professional and personal lives together.

Blaze and Jason, two imperfect people, perfectly made for each other. She’s motivated and passionate about her work but hard on herself for not being ‘good enough’ for her father, stepmother, stepsister and society in general. He’s a gifted ball player, ex foster kid with anger issues. They find each other and make each other better for it. McKenna Rogue, I loved this book and I look forward to reading more by you.
