Another awesome visit to Pin Cherry Harbor. Love this series and will always want more. The characters are awesome and the stories are great. I can’t wait for the next one.
Loved reading this book! It was very interesting read and kept menon the edge of my seat the entire time reading it. I highly recommend reading the series to give it a chance you wont be disappointed I know I’m not
I love these Mitzy Moon books! I love everything about them from good old reliable Silas, my favorite ghost grandma, sweet Odell, the too hot to
Hand sheriff Erick and of course you can’t forget snarky Twiggy the employee who doesn’t want money and is always there with a comment. Our is an adorable pet and is always in the right place at the right time to look out for Mitzy I love that she’s so protective of her dad and visa versa! Nothing better than an orphan finding out she has family! The town of Pin Cherry Harbor is an ideal setting in near Canada. The weather is like another character in the book! It sounds like the perfect place to live.
In this one the building next door is on fire and a body is found inside. The sheriff automatically assumes that Jacob did it. So Mitzy goes ahead to prove how mistaken he is. I love that Erich is finally giving in to Mitzy. With Valentines Day approaching things are heating up. I loved the original storyline and the twists and turns. I also love that things were put right and the real criminals were caught and the “innocent “ cleared. I look forward to reading the next book in the series!
Mitzy Moon is in trouble again! There’s been a murder and a fire. After a midnight break in at the book store that Mitzy inherited from her grandmother, it looks like someone is trying to frame Mitzy’s father. With the help of her friends and a rescue by Pyewacket, Mitzy won’t quit until the mystery is solved! A rollicking good read!
This fourth book in the Mitzy Moon Mysteries series by Trixie Silvertale continued the light-hearted paranormal mystery solving that included a ghost, an ageless feline named Pyetucket, magic and psychic abilities, all of which make this a most entertaining and plain old fun read.. The story also expanded on the value Mitzy now placed on having a family, a home, and a town where she felt like she belonged. And, of course, it continued with her cat-and-mouse game of trying to get a relationship going with the too-hot-to-handle sheriff Erick, and the humorous exchanges involved there. I am definitely looking forward to reading book five in this series. This is a voluntary review of an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from Hidden Gems Books.
Once you try this series your hooked.
I love these Mitzy Moon books! I am completely hooked! I anxiously await the release of each new book in this fun, heartwarming series. Sparks and Landmarks is an amazing book. I have come to really love the characters of this series. The story telling keeps getting better with each book. I cannot wait to see how things in Pin Cherry Harbor in a small town 400 miles north of everywhere continue to develop. The story telling keeps getting better with each book. I have enjoyed getting to see how all the characters are growing and becoming entangled in each other’s lives. So much action in this book. Very fast paced and funny, I simply loved this book. I couldn’t put it down. I can’t wait for the next one, I’ve already preordered it.
Trixie Silvertale has really caught her groove now, I truly love this series, and it’s characters there is something so likeable about Mitzy Moon and the motley crew in Pin Cherry Harbor, her dad Jacob and Ghost Ma, Isadora Duncan (her deceased grandmother who with the help of the wonderful Alchemist/Lawyer Silas is now living as a ghost in the home she left for Mitzy on her death) Odell Johnson, Isadora’s first husband and owner of Myrtle’s Diner (Mitzy’s go to place to eat!) and of course Robin Pyewacket Goodfellow the opinionated Caracal that Mitzy inherited along with Isadora’s Bookshop and fortune.
When the building next to Mitzy is burnt to the ground, and a body found inside she is worries, but when Sheriff Eric ties the building to her dad, then all bets are off! Using her growing powers of clairvoyance she inserts herself into the investigation, much to Erics dismay and instruction! Will she find the killer before the Sheriff and how will she explain knowing the things she does? But Mitzy will not allow her father to be fingered for a crime he didn’t do!
This is Mitzy’s most exciting adventure yet, (even if it does include high stakes scrabble, who new!!)
This book is so good, this is proper edge of the seat stuff! The mystery flows well, there are clues and red herrings a plenty, and though there is supernatural elements to the storyline it does not rely on them like some books do in this genre. The who dunnit is exceptionally well thought out, from beginning to end.
The characters are well developed now I have come to really love Mitzy, she may give off a hard edge and snark but inside her vulnerability from her past, having lost her mum at a young age and believing that she was an orphan, and growing up in care, comes through. She is now slowly coming to see all of these people in Pin Harbor as her family and if anyone messes with her family well then, they mess with Mitzy!
I would love to learn more about Twiggy and how it is she works for Mitzy for free, I don’t think I have seen Mitzy put in a days work at either the bookshop or the museum she owns, I would also like to know more about the printing museum attached to the bookshop, it is mentioned but never really expanded on.
This is book 4 in the series and if this is the first time you have come across the Mitzy Moon series, I highly recommend starting at book 1 Fries and Alibis, I promise you won’t regret it!
Mitzy Moon is in for a fun filled, or pain filled, adventure. Can she solve the mystery with a broken ankle? Can she even get around all the snow and ice covering the town? Determination and pure stubbornness are the tools she relays on to help her. You will love this series, it is fun and the characters are great. The small town feeling you get while reading is true to form and makes you feel like you are there enjoying the camaraderie. Add this book to your TBR pile, in fact add the entire series. You will be glad you did.
This is the 4th book in the series and I’ve read them all; I do believe they would all work as stand-alones, though. I enjoyed this well-written, charming book–the mysteries are fun and the characters are hilarious. Mitsy Moon is the main character, and she’s likable and bright as she learns more about her powers and how to use them. This is great escapism and even timely, since Valentine’s Day is part of the setting. I definitely recommend this fun series. I was provided an arc of the book, but these opinions are my own.
In Sparks and Landmarks, the 4th book in the Mitzy Moon series, Mitzy is again faced with a threat to her newly found family when a fire burns down the building next to the Bell, Book and Candle (her recently inherited bookstore). When a body is found in the rubble, her father becomes the prime suspect in murder and arson. Mitzy’s emerging paranormal powers are called into action and a great fast-paced story follows. This is my favorite book so far in this series! I love the spunky, snarky orphan turned heiress Mitzy, and all the other characters: her ghost-ma; her lawyer/alchemist, Silas; her dad; and all the others. Can’t wait for the next book!
Wow!! Action, romance, suspense. I LOVE this series. Mitzy is smarter than she realizes. But, will she ever get her guy???
Truly a great story.
Can’t wait for the next one.
Once again the intrepid sleuth, Mitzy Moon stumbles into a serious conundrum. And Sheriff Harper. I love this series! Mitzy is such a character and an absolute hoot! I am so looking forward to her next escapade!
This series is such a surprise for me. When I read the first book, I wasn’t so sure about Mitzy. But every book has been solid! This book is no different, except to endear Mitzy to me even more!
Mitzy starts out a troubled girl, a bit rough around the edges. Foster care will do that to you. But now that she is settling in to her inheritance, has found her family and friends, she is overcoming her childhood. I love this series so much! Every book shows positive growth in Mitzy. Her love for her family reminds those of us who have been lucky, just how lucky we are. For those of us with family that left us yearning for love, well, she reminds us that family can be who you want it to be and it’s never too late to acquire one. Her romantic life seems to be getting a boost. Though that might get tricky as there may be two fellers in the running. I enjoy this storyline more than I should for a cozy mystery. The mystery. Ah, the mystery! Very well done. As with each of the books, the mystery is completed by the end of the book. I really found this mystery to be interesting. I like how it played out. I don’t want to say much about it so your enjoyment isn’t ruined. Though I do want to talk about it. Ah, the problem of a good book! Go. Read the book. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Pin Cherry has another murder! And someone set up Jacob (Mitzy’s father) so Mitzy has a case to solve! And, as usual, she does!
This book had many twists and turns…and Erick!
My favorite, to date!
Trixie, you’re a genius!
Another fun book following Mitzy. I have to say that her and the Sheriff’s relationship should be further along by now on book 4. It is fun to watch Mitzy’s powers become more. This time around Mitzy try and saves her dad from being accused of murder. Between her luck, magic and insight she helps the Sheriff crack the case. Though she does get herself in trouble as always.
*I received a free copy of this book via the Hidden Gems and am voluntarily leaving a review.*
Another excellent installment in the Mitzy Moon saga.
This is book 4 and Mitzy finds herself, with the aid of Grams, Pie and Silas, searching for the truth to prove her Dad’s innocence in an arson attack.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Trixie Silvertale is getting better and better and keeps me wanting more.
I have just finished listening to the audio version. I enjoyed every minute of Mitzy’s adventure, as the characters are brought to life by Colleen Marlo. Very well narrated.
Buy it and you won’t be disappointed.
I am so enjoying this series and this book is no disappointment. Mitzy wakes to find the building next to hers is on fire. Apparently there was someone inside the building when it burns to the ground. Mitzy’s father becomes a suspect and of course Mitzy sets out to prove his innocence. Along the way she breaks her ankle and at the same time makes important discoveries. She can’t let her father go down for something he didn’t do.
I am completely hooked! I anxiously await the release of each new book in this fun, heartwarming series. Mitzy Moon is a totally lovable character. She wears her big heart on her sleeve, is a bit of a klutz, and is always appreciative of her new life. While there is a mystery to be solved in each book, my favorite part of the entire series is the love among the characters and how Mitzy went from being an orphan to now being part of a family that loves her immediately.
In “Sparks and Landmarks” Mitzy again stumbles into (or, in this book, falls into) trouble. But this time, Mitzy’s father is the prime suspect. Will this derail the father-daughter relationship they have been working on? Will Sheriff Erick (aka Sheriff Too-Hot-Handle) finally show some interest in Mitzy? And Pye – I cannot get enough of Pye!
Mitzy is getting more confident with her psychic powers, with some mentoring from Silas. Grams is finding ways to communicate with friends not yet – well…dead. And Odell continues to keep Mitzy supplied with burgers and fries. With all this going on there is still lots of humor. These characters seem so real! I wouldn’t mind living in Pin Cherry Harbor.
These are quick, fun reads. Great for a relaxing weekend read. Ready for book #5! Can’t wait to read more of the growing relationships in Pin Cherry Harbor.
Another wonderful book by Author Tricia Silvertale. Love reading about Mitzy Moon and her family and friends. Can’t wait to read to read the next book in the series…
This book was great, loved the interaction between Mitzy and ghostma and pyewacket. I’m loving the way the storyline is progressing with Mitzy and Sheriff Erick. Can’t wait for the next book.
