What a wonderful set of characters that came to life in this sweet, short, romantic tale. The main female character was indeed quite whimsical in nature. She shared a great bond with her two best girlfriends. This was a heartwarming read.
Charmed.

She is unlucky in love and accident prone. She just cannot seem to get a break until she decides to become matchmaker. It will have a consequence she does not see coming. What is it? Will it have anything to do with her hot neighbour? See if it has

Another new author for me who I’ve added to my list of @to look for’ authors. Sarah Gai’s writing is relaxed, warm, indulgent and drew me into this first book in a new series. The characters are believable, fun, witty and full of life – just the type of people, I like and have as friends in real life. A good storyline and I loved the chemistry between Jess and Brax [very dreamy] and think this romantic comedy was such an easy read and one that I found difficult to put down. I look forward to the rest of the series. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Most definitely recommended.
A cute really good read. A new author to me and I did love all the characters. This story is about sparkles, Jess, who has been in love with Brax her next door neighbour for 5 years. But she doesn’t know if he feels the same. After making a decision, she decides not to be his friend anymore as she wants to meet her soulmate. In come Nathan as the lucky man but somewhere down the line it ends up in a whole mess as Haley the best friend is involved. Will Jess ever get her HEA? A great read from start to finish.
Jess has been in love with her neighbor for five long years but he is also a good friend. Jess decided to brake that friendship off. When she was asked out on a date she couldn’t believe it because she thought that she was never going to be able to move on from her feelings for Brax. Until one of her best friends tell her that she is dating Brax. I enjoyed reading this book. I loved the storyline and plot. This series is so much fun to read. She has a few quirks that are just part of her personality but make her what she is. She thinks her love life is not good. But she has a hot sexy neighbor. Can things work outl? I was given a review copy by booksprout and voluntarily review it.
This was a delightful and quick read, I know because I finished it in one setting. It’s that good. The story revolves around Jess, a quirky, clumsy lady with pink hair and a matching tutu that works as a party entertainer under her ulterior ego, sparkles the fairy. She lives next door to a sculpted construction worker named Brax who in her eyes is perfect and she loves him but also knows he’s a womanizer. She decides to be a matchmaker for her friends May and Haley but things don’t pan out. All Jess wants is for friends to have what she wants, their soul mates, all the while believing that will happen for because Brax could never see her like that let alone want her, right? There’s plenty of humor and drama that will keep you turning the pages and before you know it, you’re finished. A word of caution for other reader out there: be wary when reading this story because a pink haired, tutu wearing fairy may spill coffee on you too….I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next in this funny series!
Enjoyable, fun read
What’s not to love about a young woman who cares deeply about others? Sparkles the fairy, AKA Jess, loves to make others smile. She started wearing a tutu at a young age after the death of her father. However, her unusual wardrobe brought Jess two best friends, May and Haley, as well as Sparkles career as a party fairy.
While Jess is quick to recognize her own shortcomings, she’s more than willing to cut everyone else plenty of slack. Her not-so-secret crush on next-door neighbor, Brax, runs throughout the story. The characters in the book are nicely developed—likable and easily relatable.
This is a very entertaining, feel-good story. Anyone who enjoys chick-lit will definitely want to put author, Sarah Gai, on their reading list.
Sparkle’s In love By Sarah Gai was amazingly sweet and was also a laugh out loud funny read. The main charter Jess also know as Sparkles the Fairy, not the stripper, is funny, corky, and a major clutz. The story is about love, friendship and what happens when there is a lack of communication.
I would recommend this book to almost anyone who needs a good laugh and in need of old school romance.
