I adore books about witches that have problems like us.
Good easy reading.
Great premise and good plotting.
A fun summer read. Great beach book.
Nice romp, pleasant and entertaining. Hope the characters maintain their integrity through the series.
An easy read for fun
will check out books with this author!
The characters are vibrant, funny and interesting. The book is entertaining and so much fun. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Good read, had a hard time putting it down. Looking forward to the rest of the series.
I love reading ghost stories and this one was unexpected! I’m glad more has been written with these same characters
Fun read.
Good mystery with humor. Interesting main characters.
I got lost in the story.
Almost humorous in places, but challenging Stephenie Plum to a humor battle is a loss. Not remotely sexy like the Evanovich series, nor as easy to follow. Author didn’t always clearly connect people, events, telling of the tale. Seemed to be missing things often. Ah, me !!
I enjoyed this book. A funny, lighthearted book.
Fun cozy mystery with a bit of a twist.
Very entertaining. Loved it.
I would recommend the book to anyone that likes mysterious and whimsical stories. Just enough suspense with a little of fun with our ghost side kick. I enjoyed the slow attraction and trust they have for each other. I can’t wait for the next chapter of their collaboration together.
I downloaded this little gem from Bookbub. Some of my previous downloads have been mediocre, so I was hesitant here. This book has been popping up free for awhile, so I was more hesitant.
Verity Long is a southern gal who has just walked out of a nuptial arrangement. Everyone is scandalized over her actions and she is now in danger of losing her home that’s been in the family for generations. When she has an opportunity to save her home, things turn ghostly.
I really enjoyed this one. The plot was fun, characters interesting and story held up to the end. However, the book needs some mild editing – it was a bit choppy in the beginning and the end a bit rushed or cramped. Otherwise, I will be reading more.
Nice, fun book. Easy read
