Beauty, brains, and money. Alexa has it all, and luck is her middle name. She’s the first to defend her family and friends and never needs help in return. Men fall at her feet—except the abrasive police officer Kent, who seems to despise her. But a series of strange events punctures her protective bubble, exposing her to fear and self-doubt. She doesn’t know who she should be more afraid of, her … her unknown pursuer or the sudden protective, softer side of the officer.
Kent has watched the women he loves the most in his life suffer unbearably, unable to save them himself, and now he refuses to get close to anybody. To most people, he’s a heartless, angry cop without a soft interior. Until one stormy day, fate teases him with a warm ray of Alexa’s sunshine, melting a piece of his icy heart. Kent believes he hates her, but when her brightness dims, his hate turns into something else. Something he refuses to let another person take away from him, especially the stranger lurking in the shadows.
*can be read as a standalone.

I loved this book! What a great way to end the series. This book has everything I love all rolled up into one read. A grumpy hot cop that falls for the girl he thinks he hates while saving her from a stalker. Alexa and Kent are opposites that don’t seem to be meant for each other but as you read, you want them to give in to their attraction so bad even if he is a bit of jerk to her at first. I loved loved the depth of each character and well written the story was. A great read that everyone should have on their TBR list.
I have had the pleasure of reading all of Kristina’s books. This one really blew me away. She has a way of pulling you in so you feel like you are right there with the characters. You experience their love, passion and heartache. The suspense will have you in the edge of your seat. You won’t stop until you have finished the book. This can be read as a stand alone but you will want the full experience with this series. So start at the beginning with Lives Collide. You won’t regret it. Looking forward to reading more from this author.
I was lucky enough to get an ARC of this book. Alexa is a strong independent woman. Alexa while out with her friends one night runs into this guy, they kiss not expecting anything else to happen like a dare kiss me deal. Alexa comes to find out later this man is a police officer and his name is Kent. Kent has had family issues and swears off all woman. He thinks if he gets close that something bad will happen to them. I totally enjoyed this story. When Alexa started getting threats and bad things happening, she thinks its one of her past run-ins with male’s she has some funky names for. I was very shocked in the end to find out who was behind all the threats and bad things. I loved that this story had a happy ending. I know I probably should of read the first two books first, but I will get to them. Thank you Kristina for a romantic, suspense, heart-wrenching, funny, amazing, and heart touching book. It is reality that happens in real life and it felt like you were there with all of them.
Alexa is a pharma rep who is the perfect package because she’s sweet and bubbly, she’s smart and honest, a genuinely good person. After so much heartbreak losing his mother to cancer, and now his sister Abby is battling, Kent is a hard person to love. He’s lost the joy in life and is impossible to be around. If the word curmudgeon applies to anyone, it’s Kent. As a police officer, it’s said he lets nothing slide. He needs to learn to laugh and love. There’s something about Alexa that is starting to break down those walls of fear he keeps around himself.
Kent’s sister Abby is amazing. To be battling breast cancer and have such a positive personality, even when Kent is always so down, is so true to her spirit. The fact that Alexa is immediately drawn to her also speaks of the light that shines in her. I do wonder if Beck plans to give Abby her own book. Kent and Abby are a package deal and with the way Alexa and Abby get along like true sisters, that wouldn’t be a problem.
There is one character I didn’t love, and that was Dani. She was so prickly from the start, and I think Beck wrote her character to be unlikeable very well. In such an amazing group of people, I imagine it was probably hard creating a character that the audience is going to dislike. She just always had something negative to say and I was surprised that she was friends with Abby.
While Kent and Alexa are getting to know each other, and his walls are starting to crumble, we learn Alexa has a stalker. Because she is such a beautiful and bubbly person, it’s not hard to see why men would be drawn to her. But this is the kind of attention no girl wants and things are starting to get scary. She wants to find out who is doing these awful things to her so she can stop living fearfully. Kent wants to find the man that is hurting Alexa just as badly as she does. Because his sister is finishing up her treatments and the fact that Alexa has a stalker, these two are taking things slow. The way these two flirt with each other is sweet and fun, I love the attraction between the two.
Even though Souls Collide is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone. Knowing the series gives you a sense of giddiness when Beck brings back characters you meet in the previous books because you get to know the characters intimately. Their lives are so tightly intertwined, this is a family you want to be a part of. I can’t say how much I love that Beck was able to write Abby battling breast cancer. It’s such a scary thing for women to go through and Abby is an inspiration. Souls Collide is beautifully written, it’s fun and romantic, the perfect combination and the perfect addition to the Collide Series.
There is so much to say about this fairly new author, Kristina Beck. Lives Collide, her first book was good, James & Lisa’s story, serendipity! Second, Dreams Collide, was better, Gerry & Tina’s story, coincidence! Have been waiting to see what happens in Souls Collide. Krissy has out done herself by adding a little suspense to Alexa’s story, which is fitting to Alexa’s character. The story flowed easily, nothing forced, and you can picture in your minds eye everything that happens. There is humor, respect, love, deceit, and turmoil all wrapped up in a pretty Christmas bow. Fell in love with Abby Hayes, and thrilled Krissy gave is an update on her character, saved me and her harassment and begging for Abby’s story. Absolutely scored this series especially Alexa’s kickass ending! Highly recommend taking a risk on this author.
Two souls; one dark , one bright, are thrown together by a series of unexplained happenings. He is angry, disillusioned and closed minded and she is glowing, happy and full of life. Can love bring them together or will danger keep them apart?
Alexa brings joy to every room she enters and to each person she meets. She is smart, funny and hardworking and is tired of guys thinking she is a dumb blonde. She has a busy life, loving friends and family, and she doesn’t need a man to make her life complete. Until she crosses paths with a hot cop with a bad attitude.
Kent is a brave and dedicated police officer who is proud to serve his community and keep them safe. He has experienced much heartbreak in his life, he doesn’t trust easily and keeps his feelings close to his heart. He doesn’t have time for romance until he kept running into a beautiful woman who he couldn’t stop thinking about. Was this a sign that his life was about to change?
Can Alexa and Kent put aside their misconceptions about each other long enough to let love in?
I love all of the books in the Collide series and I think that “Souls Collide” is absolutely wonderful!! The characters and their emotions pull you into their lives as if you were there with them, experiencing all of their ups and downs. I was thrilled that the characters from the first two books played an important part in Alexa and Kent’s story. I am sad to see the series come to an end and I can’t wait to see what Kristina has in store for us next.
I love souls collide! It has the enemies to lovers with the romance and drama twists. It had me pulled in from the very first page. It had me on edge for what was coming next. I definitely recommend it!

Kristina Beck
First, I want to thank the author, Kristina Beck, for generously providing me this ARC in exchange of a honest review.
I had never read a book by Kristina Beck before and, now that I have, I want to read her other books.
Souls Collide is the third book in the Collide series. Even though I read it before the first two books, I had no problem understanding the story. I could see some of the other characters already had their stories told and it only made me more willing to read the other books in the series.
The romance was a bit fast-paced for me, but I liked anyway. Alexa and Kent has strong personalities. They are both very consistent. I adore that neither of the protagonists are fragile. The only thing that I didn’t like, and that bothered me a lot, was that Alexa doesn’t like dogs. Who doesn’t like animals? Only heartless people. I kind of hate her for that. But Souls Collide is great nevetheless.
The other characters were well-built too. Abby is so awesome, I thought she would have her own book.
Kristina Beck had never written a romantic suspense before and, in my opinion, she nailed it. I adore suspense. I adore romance. It’s a wonderful book. So it was a pleasure reading Souls Collide.

Kristina Beck
Eu adoro suspense. Eu adoro romance. É um livro maravilhoso. Então foi um prazer ler Souls Collide.

All of the books in the Collide series have been fantastic, but this book blew my mind. Stunning and dramatic, with a shocking twist at the end! What an amazing way to end a series that I truly wish would never end. The only part that wasn’t shocking is the beautiful meeting of two souls, but belonging to two people who, at first glance, should never be together. Kent and Alexa are complete opposites, and everything except their souls clash the first few times they meet. She’s friendly, bubbly, charmed and positive and he’s . . . not. As a police officer and in his personal life, Kent has seen way too much of the dark, angry parts of life in this world, and his protective wall is layers deep. Not only does Alexa wage an assault on that wall just by being the beautiful soul she is, but she stands up to Kent and calls him on his bull. As much as he’d like to hate her, there’s something about Alexa that Kent can’t resist.
It’s always a joy for me to read an early copy of a book from an author whose work I’ve come to know and trust, but this book deserves more effusive praise than I can possibly put into words. It captivated my mind from the first page and captured my heart immediately, making me fully invested in these characters and beyond eager to learn their story. Between the witty and biting banter and the action packed drama, there was never a dull moment and the rest of my world disappeared as I devoured this book.
One of the things this author does exceptionally well is cementing the emotion and deep connection of the two main characters while using external conflict as the drama and challenge to the relationship, rather than resorting to internal conflict for the main crisis of the book. For me, it’s always more rewarding and uplifting when the two characters grow closer and stronger as they fight challenges not of their own making together. And I love the picture it creates for the reader, that challenges and struggles in life can draw people closer together when they have a deep, abiding love and commitment to each other.
I also need to point out the way this author handles an insidious, horrible illness. The same thing that took Kent’s mother has also stricken his sister Abby. While the author sheds light on the specifics of fighting the illness, she gives us Abby, a phenomenal, touching example of the indomitable, resilient human spirit. Abby’s journey is one of grace, beauty and courage, poignantly and compassionately told with an underpinning of hope and optimism, and it will forever alter your view of those fighting this disease and its survivors.
The books in this series all stand alone, so you can start with this book without feeling like you’re missing anything. It’s a wonderful holiday read and brings all the characters from the previous two books together, so it’s a great way to meet the other characters. Kent and Alexa may be my favorite couple, with their initial meetings being extremely entertaining and laugh-out-loud funny, but I’ll say one thing for Kent. He didn’t fight himself for long and, once he was in, he was all in. It was a reward in its own right to see the surly, broody hero learn to smile, laugh and love. This book really does have it all — humor, drama, suspense, poignant emotion and tons of heart, and it’s sure to delight every reader!
Alexa is one strong, feisty, powerful and independant woman. Beside beauty, she also has brains. After several unsuccessfull dates, she decides she is better at being single.
But one day, she literlly runs into a broody and moody cop Kent. The sparks fly, but they are annoyed at each other. He is a total ass to her. They meet a few times after that. Their attraction is over the top, but they hate each other.
Kent didn`t have a perfect life. After his mom died, his sister is diagnosed with the same disease and he became really unhappy which is shown in his behavior.
When his sister Abby and Alexa meet, they became instant friends. Which means Kent has toospend a lot of time with Alexa. He fights his feeling toward her and one day, he finally admits it. But is it too late?
Alexa has a stalker who makes her life a living hell. Once Kent finds out about her stalker, he does everything in his powers to protect her. And in the meantime, they fall in love.
Will he find the stalker or will the stalker take another person who he loves from his life?
This was an amazing story with lots of twists and turns!
