Clever new world, fun read
If you like fantasy worlds and struggles of learning about a different society this is a good read for you. Kept me entranced late into the night. Love a genuinely strong heroine
Anxious to read the sequals.
Enjoyed the descriptions of this unknown world and the characters in it. Wish the proof reading had been more professional.
Fun read…looking forward to the next few in the series. Very different
I really liked this book.
I’m hooked on this series!
I loved the characters and the story line also how each character was introduced with a story of there own. truly a great read enjoy the whole series where’s the money. Story continues looking forward to your next release
A Harry Potter type character set with good, the bad and the ugly. I will buy a sequel.
I liked this book but I am always a little upset with books that leave you hanging and won’t be solved unless you read the next book.
The description of the setting was fantastic. I could see it. The plot had a few twists I did not see coming, but too much time was on the romance part of the story. I prefer more action!1
As a fantasy, it’s provocative and compelling. As allegory, it’s frightening and cautionary for all who seek the balance between us and them.
It was not an earth-shattering book. But it was fun to read on a lazy afternoon. Story built well and characters were introduced in sequences that made sense.
What a wonderful read. Full of magic. Lots of twists and turns. It is a fantasy realm that I want to visit again. i will be buying the next book in the series because I do not want to give up the characters yet.
Wasn’t for me.
This was a great read with good characters and a different story line. Have bought the next two stories in the sequence and fine them just as good. Do not need to read the series to have a complete story as each one follows a different character that appears int he books before it. I would read them in sequence though for the full effect.
I liked this book so much that when I finished it, I went right to Amazon and bought the other five books in the series. Overall, each book deals in some way with the sickness of magic on earth and how it is affecting the elven world. Each book focuses on two different characters, which is delightful. The plot twists are amazing.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I recommend this author to anyone who loves to read about elves & the fae!
I thoroughly enjoyed the story and characters in this book. The author made believable an adventure in a land where elves reign. I particularly liked the heroine, who braved a new land to find family. She found more than that; a new home, family, and a lasting love. The story did not end with the last page, however. I had to order the rest of the books to finish this story.
It’s a mystery, and every page takes you deeper to the truth.
This was a good story. I enjoyed the world it built as you learn with Arlyn about her heritage. It started very fast but it finally started to make sense and the ending was good.
