Blood runs soul-deep, but found families are forever. Cormac hasn’t been the same since the night the High Moon Pack was attacked. With his magic weakened, he’s consumed by a bloodlust he hasn’t felt since he first became a vampire. His need to replenish his power makes him a danger to his last remaining family member, and his hunger makes him careless. Feeding from pack beta Liam Benson was … beta Liam Benson was supposed to slake his appetite, not leave him craving more.
Liam is drawn to Cormac in ways he can’t explain and as the fight to protect the pack he loves reaches a critical point, his connection to Cormac deepens in a way neither wolf nor vampire anticipated. Will Cormac’s role in the final showdown against the dark forces threatening the pack sever the bond Liam and Cormac have started to weave?
Simon, Gray, and Cormac must fight a being history says shouldn’t exist—one with all three types of magic. The pack must use all their resources to combat the mysterious triad, even turning to the mysterious Conclave of Mages for help. As they learn more about this terrifying dark threat, protecting the pack proves to be riddled with challenges and sacrifices. While Gray attempts to hold his traumatized pack together, Cormac struggles to reconcile his past failures with his current desires, and Simon must attempt the impossible: an alliance between mind, body, and soul.

I love this third installment to the Triad series. This one solves the mystery of who has been torturing, killing, and stealing magic. We get to see Simon’s growth with his magic and with his connection to Gray and the pack. We learn more about little Riley. And we get to see the start of a beautiful, sexy relationship between centuries-old Cormac and pack beta Liam. This book is fantastic and wraps up the loose ends very nicely. The epilogue is a wonderful bonus. I think this series is great, and am happy to recommend it to others.

Simon is an amazing character. Simon’s character continues to develop with each book. This book saddens me a little because it sounds like we are saying goodbye to Simon and Gray. Getting rid of the baddie was done in an original way. I’m super happy about Cormac. This is a great series, but it’s best read in order.
This series is totally awesome! Magic and supernatural beings?!?!? Yes please! Cormac and Liam are opposites, but yet they fit together perfectly. I really enjoyed learning more about Cormac and his long life. I also enjoyed seeing the characters from the other books too. I highly recommend this series, and honestly any book by Macy Blake.
This is an enjoyable, suspenseful yet heartwarming MM paranormal romance with a few heart-wrenching moments. The plot is well-written & there are a few unexpected surprises. The complex characters are well-developed & the first impression is that there are absolutely no common interests between them but they actually complement each other as they draw closer together.
There is: twists & turns, intrigue, suspense, drama, magic, vampires, wolf shifters, lion shifters, good versus evil, a judgmental were council, a disbelieving council of mages, danger, evil, threats, attacks, violence, traditions, confrontations, anguish, tragedy, explanations, deceit, disbelief, magical theft, protectiveness, decisions, magical confrontations, life-threatening incidents, some steam & satisfying conclusion with a unusual epilogue that moves a few years ahead to give the reader a glimpse of the next book in the series.
With every book Ms Blake kept showings us how good she is in writing amazing plots. This story is interesting and so complex that when you think you know what is going on next, it changes and surprises you again. In this book 3, you’ll meet another couple (Cormac and Liam) whom growing attraction with each other help them get stronger for them and their pack, you‘ll learn more about Simon’s magic and how triad magic works and finally you’ll witness an epic confrontation that will change everything. You need to read the previous 2 books to fully understand and enjoy this third one. Amazing plot and wonderful characters. This series is simply brilliant!!
I received this book as an ARC and this is my honest opinion.
A brilliant end to a wonderful trilogy about good beating evil, family/pack being what you make it! Gray, Simon and friends battle to save them all and this re release is a great read!
Protect the pack
What a way to begin a book, Macy Blake! It sucked me in. We see a new side to Cormac and finally learn about his past. I gotta be honest; it’s scary and sad what is revealed. Cormac broke my heart with his demons. Liam is doing his best to help Cormac, but he’s got his work cut out for him. It’s a good thing he’s stubborn and protective, and they have a wonderfully steamy connection. “You aren’t alone anymore.” Watching them fall in love was spellbinding.
Meanwhile, everyone else is hands-on trying to figure out what keeps attacking them and how to stop it, which makes for some tense situations. Once we learn who and what it is, well, to say the least, it’s chilling. Garon is so brave, especially with everything going on in his life. I think he may be the bravest of them all. I really do like Simon’s shirts, and I’m enjoying watching him step into his role as Alpha-mate as well as becoming more confident in himself and his abilities.
Oh wow, some very shocking things happen in this book and they made me cry, gasp in anticipation and warmed my heart. Athough, I did get frustrated with some of the close-minded people in this book. Thankfully, we have Cade to supply us with humor and the others to stand for voices of reason. The ending of this book was stunningly beautiful, answered all of my questions, and made me so very happy. A fantastic magical series.
