I love the Soul Tracker series and this book is no exception. I read the books in order. In #6 the rescue of Saleem was being planned. In this book, it is great to see what happened from Saleem’s perspective while his group of super-duper paranormal and supernatural friends prepared to save his sexy behind. It made the story that much more engaging for us to see from Saleem’s eyes how this whole debacle came to be and how he was rescued. Even though you know how it will all end, the book kept me turning pages anxiously needing to see what happened next. I am already anticipating the next book in this series! Note that each one of these books can be read on its own but I do not recommend it. If you had not read #6 before reading this one, part of the story would have less of an impact and I am sure that is not what T.G. Ayer intended. There was just no need to go into details that were covered in the previous book. Instead, you get a summary or a synopsis of sorts. Either way, it does not take away from the story. Especially those scenes with his Soul Tracker girlfriend, you see from Saleem’s vantage point just how deeply he cares for her.
A good story which fills in a bunch of details that I missed in other stories of the series. Saleem’s character shows magnificent strength. Mel makes a few cameo appearances.
I received a copy of this book as a gift from the author. This is my honest review.
Now here is a series that once you begin it you will not get enough of it and wait for every one that is added to the series. As each one comes to us we see it become more fuller and keeps us longer. Oh and the friends that come into play in this one all for Saleem. Oh we are reminded where his heart belongs. You get much pleasure from this one because of the POV. Drama will be abound with it captivating us. I went through this one but already wanting the next one.
Good story. Interesting, exciting, fun, with a good pace. The dialog is smart,
well written and flows smoothly. The characters are fascinating, captivating,
quirky, engaging and well developed. I look forward to reading more of this series.
I enjoyed seeing more of Saleem. I hope we see more of the male POV’s in the DarkWorld Series. Looking forward to more.
I liked getting to know Saleem better and ‘seeing’ what he was going through while the rest of the gang got into gear to rescue him. What I didn’t like was that there wasn’t really anything ‘extra’ added as this book sits in the same timeline space as the previous book. While a few teeny tiny crumbs are dropped towards the end- that’s it. So while it was a good read, it feels as if the author is trying to stretch out the series.
I enjoyed reading this book, it has a great storyline. It is filled with action and intrigue, the interaction and chemistry between the characters is wonderful. I can’t wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy and I voluntarily leave this review.
Tee has created a more rounded view of Saleem’s rescue. I was glad of the insight into the rebellion on mithras. Saleem continues to show his strength of character and how his upbringing has made him into the djinn he is today.

This is the 7th book in this series and still going strong! you can read this book as a standalone but really is better if you read the rest of the series to get thte most out of the books. This one was about Saleem’s view of his capture and then his rescue by Mel and the team. Written very well great characters and world building have really enjoyed this series looking forward to more !
Most of the time when reading a T.G. Ayer book it can be picked up mid-series and work perfectly well. In the case of Soul Bound: A SoulTracker Novel, Book 7: A DarkWorld Series (DarkWorld: SoulTracker), is strongly recommend against it. As those who have been happily following along know, “Mission Spring-Saleem-from-Captivity” is covered in Book 6. This Book 7 gives Saleem’s perspective on the whole affair. For those fellow readers I can promise sheer pleasure as this really is a wonderfully written book and it’s total fun to see things through Saleem’s eyes. For others I strongly suggest starting with Book 1 in the series and then moving forward in sequence. You’ll have a total blast and, when you do reach this book, it will be much more powerful. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. The book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book in this series.
Lots and lots of action going on in the book from one mystery to the next. Saleem is fantastic and so is Mel. Both have grown since I first started reading the series. I love the world build and look forward to reading more of the stories in Dark World Universe.
tortured. Mel, who is a soul tracker and in love with him, won’t stand for it! Full of action, with great characters and plot makes this a great read, as are all Ms. What’s series!
