This Book is a Super Plus length novel–129,000 words long
One Woman, Two Hot Guys, A Galaxy of Problems…
Kat O’Connor is no pushover. She’s a no nonsense girl with a commonsense approach to life. But there’s nothing common about what’s happening to her lately…
First she was forced to have a kinky mind ménage with two of the hottest and most irritating men in the galaxy—Twin Kindred … galaxy—Twin Kindred warriors, Deep and Lock—in order to locate her kidnapped friend. Then she couldn’t get their feelings out of her head. And now she’s on her way to their home planet, Twin Moons, to find a cure for the debilitating illness their unorthodox joining caused, when all she really wants to do is go home.
Locks Tight, the light twin of the two, is already in love with Kat. Her curvy plus-sized body is the epitome of beauty on his home planet and her sharp mind makes her doubly attractive. But though he fell for her the moment he saw her, Twin Kindred are unable to mate a woman alone. Lock knows nothing can happen between them without his brother…
Stabs Deep. The dark twin has a secret agony in his past—a tragedy he feels he and he alone is to blame for. He too, hungers for Kat, but he hides his fear of rejection behind an impenetrable wall of angry sarcasm. For if he lets anyone get too close, the unbearable pain he has already endured once may happen again.
Now Kat and her twin warriors are on a quest—but they’re all looking for different things. Kat wants to find a way to dissolve the half-formed bond between them so she can be alone in her own head again. Lock wants to convince both her and his brother to complete the bond which will keep them together forever. And Deep is trying to protect his heart and love Kat from afar…though it grows more and more difficult to deny the hunger he feels for her growing inside him.
Their travels will take them from the uncharted wilds of Twin Moons to the Deadworld of the Scourge home planet. Will Kat find a cure for having other people’s emotions crowding her mind? Will Lock convince his brother and the woman they both love that they’re all meant to be together forever? And will Deep ever unshield his heart long enough to let Kat in?
You’ll have to read Sought, the third book in the Brides of the Kindred series, to find out…

Full figured redhead and two alien twins who want her. A very surprising read, I was not disappointed! Dark and Light twin such a cool idea!
i love this book how they had sex
It was amazing. It made me want to read more
Ki-i-inky!
Wow! This series just gets better and better. I loved the gradual way that the whole sexuality was handled, it never made me uncomfortable. The worlds are unique and different from the other worlds. The characters were deeply drawn (even if I did get a little tired of Deep never being forthcoming). And the storyline, while supporting the overarching series, was complex and self contained. This book, however, should carry a warning. You Will Need Tissues!!
Sought is another great addition to the Brides of Kindred series. I enjoyed this book a lot and Kat, Deep and Lock will definitely have you laughing. Deep and Lock are seeker/finder twins and Kat needs help to find her missing friend but by connecting with Deep and Lock both mentally and physically it has left her in a state where she slips from her body and if left that way for a long time she will eventually die. As Deep, Lock and Kat search for ways to right the wrong they’ve done, they realize that what they are searching for is right in front of them; each other. While on their mission to break their bond they run into the scourge Xairn and the AllFather who has Lauren captive. Xairn has feeling for Lauren, feelings he cannot let his father see. His father has already destroyed everything he loved and has no problem destroying Xairn. If they plan escaping the AllFather Deep, Lock and Kat must help Xairn save Lauren or all of them will die trying to escape the most powerful being. I enjoyed the first book in the series, the second one was okay but this so far has been the best one. I will continue reading this series because I love paranormal and the books are a great price, especially for the length. We met Lauren and Xairn in this book and we will get their full story in the next book along with new characters and the rest of the characters we have met thus far, so the series must be read in order.
Brilliantly written ….and really enjoyable. What an original storyline!
We see Kat who’s a BBW and we know that on Earth being a big girl does not equate to being beautiful or desirable for that matter… but then on the Planet of the Twin Moons these women are revered as Elites and the men fight over them….the Kindred are genetic traders who through some quirk of their genetics 95% of their births are male so they must find other races and breed with them to continue their species.
So Kats been used as a focus by the twins to find her friend Sophia who the evil AllFather has decided that she is the woman their prophecy has spoken of…. her soul has been half torn from her body and the three of them must find a way of fixing it otherwise she will die… exciting funny and original.. a great addition to this series of books!
Loved it . Great read
I love a good series where characters repeat and evolve from One book to the next. This stories are steamy and have action and strong female characters
I’ve really enjoyed the Brides of the Kindred series…
My only complaint in the books are the girls…sometimes I got so frustrated w/them, I wanted to KILL THEM!! For example, this story is about the Twin Kindred, Deep & Lock, and thier love interest, Kat. Kat is forever wringing her hands and saying “No no no I just couldn’t imagine being with two incredible drop dead sexy men that want to do nothing but worship my plus size body as if I am a goddess!” Back up there a minute…you DON’T want two sexy guys loving and bringing you pleasure? WHY THE HELL NOT?? And plus sized girls on their planet are considered goddesess?? Get me a space ship to the Twin Moons ASAP!!! Twin sexy guys wanting girls w/curves!! What’s not to love about that?! LOL!! What I REALLY liked about this one was the back story…I fell in love w/Xarin, the son of the evil AllFather, who is torn about his growing feelings for the female, Lauren, he has been forced to capture. Why do I always fall for the bad boy? 😉 I hope this story continues because I want MORE MORE MORE of Xarin. I highly recommend this series! These Kindred are HAWT!!!
Some fav quotes/scenes:
“We’re about to put on a live three-way sex show here for Chief Pervert and his band of merry men.”–Kat
“I would rather burn brightly for an instant and bring some light into the universe in my last moments than live a thousand years in darkness”–Deep
“I though you wanted to go to law school”, Sophie said. “Nope. Having hot three way sex in order to find missing persons is way more fun than torts and tax law.” Kat grinned.
Kat O’Connor sacrificed herself in order to find her friend. Of course it was joining with twin brothers Stabs Deep and Locks Tight, but their joining was met with a sacrifice and with her life in peril the brothers take her back to their home planet to find a cure.
Locks Tight doesn’t want to give up Kat, he loves her but his brother denies his feelings for her only hurting her worse. Stabs Deep is more complex though and he needs to come to terms with himself before he can offer any help to Kat. Two of the three are running from their own feelings while the enemies are swirling around them.
I like this series but this on didn’t quite hit the mark for me. I liked the characters but it took awhile before I felt the chemistry. Will be reading more in this series though as it is quite fun.
So… I honestly think I liked this book least of any of the Evangeline Anderson books I have read thus far. And unlike many of the reviewers, it had nothing to do with the Twin Kindred’s *ahem* mating customs. The book was not terrible, and it did continue the story line. I also enjoyed our moments with the characters from the last two books Olivia and Baird and Sophia and Sylvan, as well as a few moments with Lauren and Xairn (mains of the next book), so I am not unhappy that I read it. I did find myself skimming and looking forward to moving on far more often than I normally do, however.
I liked getting to know the new breed of Kindred, and their world was interesting for certain. I like how Mrs. Anderson is always creating new cultures and worlds and she doesn’t disappoint in this book either.
The major killer for me was the female lead. She had to be the most contradictory, whiny, and self-absorbed female lead I’ve ever read. She downright tortures pretty much everybody (including the reader). I’m not sure who had more self-hatred either: her or Deep. Deep and Lock weren’t too bad, though I didn’t feel we got enough of Lock’s character really. They are both really REALLY noble in this book, however, so points to them.
As a side note: I have no issues with menages and generally enjoy them. I also have no problems with adventurous bed play, so keep that in mind.
All in all, if it weren’t for the bits about the other characters, I really could have skipped this book. I’ve read quite a few Kindred Tales books at this point, so I really do think this will be a fluke in the series. Don’t let this keep you from reading her other books folks!
A great erotic long romance, with an annoying female lead. However the book does suck you in so worth the read!
Although l enjoyed this story very much but I have to say that Kat was a huge disappointment she was so obnoxious. What happen to her fiery personality I really thought she was going to be the strong, sassy, and fierce heroine but her indecisiveness was driving me crazy. I just wanted to take her and shake her and tell her to freaking live a little God!!! I really felt bad for Lock and Deep. Lock because he seem to be always trapped in the middle between Deep and Kat fighting and Deep because even though he was conflicted and was being a jerk he did really have some good qualities even if his actions didn’t show it all the time. Overall a very good read can’t wait to see what going to happen next.
