Sometimes love’s song needs rewinding. Izzy ~ Best friends to soul mates to … nothing. Since we were six, Dawson was the most important person in my life. He was my first everything. First friend, first boyfriend, first kiss, first love, first heartbreak. For years our love was a masterpiece. Then two years ago, he ghosted me. Now my world is grey. I’m finally trying to start over, to add muted … to start over, to add muted colors back. Beckett has helped let the light back in. And he’s ready to paint our future. But I’m not sure if I can give it to him, even if I owe him. Every time I consider moving forward my heart starts singing a familiar tune.
Dawson ~
Now I know why they call it falling in love. The splat at the end. I should’ve known better than to fall for my best friend. Because now I’ve lost my love, my friend and the inspiration for every song I ever wrote. I know the truth now about how it all ended, and I long to fix it. But there’s a new man in her life. A good man. One who hasn’t broken her heart and doesn’t put her at risk by just being around. My head says I should love her enough to walk away. Too bad we don’t love with our brains.
Best friends to lovers to heartbreak. To a second chance?

My heart broke for Dawson, Izzy and Beckett, but on top of the heartache someone is out to get Dawson or maybe Izzy. This story makes your heart race and is a great ending ( for now) for Dawson , Izzy and even Beckett.
This is the third installment of the series following Dawson and Izzy. I highly recommend reading the other two before this one.
Each and every book I have loved more than the one previous. This one though, it takes the cake. It’s absolutely gut wrenching in parts. That’s truly make you feel their pain, their loss, word by word.
But it’s not all tears and sorrow. It’s a sweet love story that can’t be beat. I truly adore this series and it is one of my most favorite of the year to read.
Izzy and Dawson’s love is put to the test with Beckett and Izzy’s journey and Dawson’s reappearance in her life. True love tells no time and this to me explains them perfectly . It’s a must read. Grab some tissues and dive right in. You won’t regret this series at all.
5/5
Book three of Dawson and Izzy did not disappoint. So many feelings. Suspense. Love. Angst. It kept me so interested I didn’t put it down till it was done! Love books that can capture your complete attention and suck you
What an incredible conclusion to Izzy and Dawson’s story. This novel had me sighing in bliss, crying in anguish, and hoping and wishing for that happily ever after. There are surprising twists and alot of intrigue and suspense throughout the book that had my mind turning and flipping pages as fast as I could to see how everything was going to play out. Do these two get their HEA or is it too late? Does Beckett get the only girl Dawson’s ever loved? Who is the stalker wreaking havoc on Dawson, the band and Izzy? I’ll tell you, I was quite surprised at the outcome. Pick up a copy and read this impressive story for yourself and find out the answers to these questions and a whole lot more.
Book 3 was worth the wait. Every song was perfectly placed and the book was amazing!
I loved Dawson and Izzy from the beginning of book one. I hated waiting for more of their journey but Charli said it would be worth the wait and she wasn’t kidding.
If you haven’t read them start from book 1 it does need to be read in order.
I will continue to read more from Charli B Rose and I can’t wait for more books on the other band mates!
WOW – Do Not Miss This Series!!!
Izzy and Dawson’s love story continues in this book. A friendship/love that starts at six years old. I don’t even know what to say to this beautiful, sweet story of a love that never dies. In this book Charli gives us more answers, more suspense, surprise after surprise, sweet romantic times and so much more. I did not want this book to end. It had my heart fluttering with so many emotions. This book grabbed me from the beginning and I purposely read slow just to spend more time with Izzy, Dawson and all the other amazing characters that Charli brings to life. I can not wait for more from this author, these friends and bandmates!!!
Charli B. Rose, I love this series with the close knit group of friends, reading how Dawson & Izzy grow from kiddy love to the love that consumed every part of their souls, I was left wanting more.
NOTE – Book 3 of the Lyrical Odyessy series books 1 and 2 are a must read to understand the storyline and what brings us to this book.
A string of misunderstandings lead to two hearts being broken unnecessarily, a stalker making claims to a man she has no rights to causing havoc at every turn and a love that need is destined to last forever.

You get two sneak peaks to future books and I can’t wait to read them.
This is last book of the series. I found I quite sad during the last book and not just because the series was ending but because there is so much turmoil going on with Izzy and Dawson. The characters jumped off the pages and the story line flowed so easily. It was really easy to get lost within the pages. I loved Izzy and Dawson. And you will too, so yes I am definitely recommending this book and series! I have to say also that I loved the links to the songs. The links added so much more to the story! Anyone who loves rock romance and second chances will love this series.
Songs is the final installment and conclusio;n to Dawson and Izzy’s story. You need to have read Beats of the Heart and Notes of the Heart before reading Songs of the Heart. Charli once again did an amazing job of connecting the readers to her characters. We get an amazing reunion for Dawson and Izzy and a very adult, not wishy washy, end to Beckett and Izzy’s relationship. I have to admit Beckett wasn’t my favorite in the second book. I didn’t hate him, he was just in my way of Dawson and Izzy being together. Charli completely turned that around for me. I love him and am most interested for him to get his lady and be tied with the red thread of fate. I love that the reunion was fairly early in the story so we get to spend some time with them as a couple. There is some suspense and danger with an unknown stalker and I was completely wrong on who was actually the culprit. Charli does a wonderful job of connecting music to dialogue. The playlist is a great bonus. I love the author’s writing style and she has a great talent of making you feel and think with the characters. I look forward to reading more from Charli B Rose! L
This is the final book in a three book trilogy.
An amazing ending to Dawson and Izzy’s love story. Many twists and turns that keeps you flipping the pages. Love all the main characters and can’t wait to read about the rest of the members of Lyrical Odyssey.
Favorite quote: Dawson to Izzy ~ “Well, the star on the left is me, and the star on the right side is you. And the star in the middle is halfway between us where our hearts reside.” ***
This series should be read in order in my opinion.
I love Izzy & Dawson and I’m sad their story has come to an end, I’m hoping they’ll reappear in the other guys stories – if there is a plan for that!
Izzy & Dawson best friend most their life fall in love. Dawson moves following a divorce of his parents and follows his dreams of becoming a rockstar. Izzy played a huge role in his dreams, she was his muse. A misunderstanding separated them for years – during that separation Izzy is in a fight for her life. This book picks up on them being reunited and how the ups and downs of rekindling their relationship with the obstacles of two years and a stalker!
I was certain that I KNEW who the stalker was, but I was wrong – well played!
