Song For Me is book two in the On Tour duet and it continues right after Harper discovers Drake’s supposed betrayal. She wants to shut down but Drake does not give up. And, OMG, these two are explosive!!!
After Drake is able to convince Harper, that he would never betray her, they try to find a way to solve Hapers problem. Together. But Harper’s walls are up and it’s not easy to help her and for Harper it’s not easy to let someone in. Even if she’s in love.
This story is powerful and beautiful. Harper has to learn to trust people and that she’s not alone. Drake is absolutely amazing. He’s perfect for Harper because he does not let himself be pushed away so easily. He pushes back – with success. Although he’s 100% bad boy rocker in part 1, he’s actually the perfect book boyfriend . He’s not a patient man but he’s strong-willed and he doesn’t give up until he gets what he wants. And THIS bad-ass wants his own happy end.
The chemistry is off the charts, the sexy scenes are ht and I really enjoyed every word. Well written, amazing story, beautiful people and gorgeous cover .
Mere words can’t describe the raw heat and beauty of this book
I swooned, cried, swooned some more, cringed and fanned myself. Now I don’t know how I can write a review to do this book justice!
Song For Me started exactly at that holy crap moment where Sing To Me finished, and you absolutely have to have read the first book before hitting this one. Do yourself a favour, get started on that book now. Drake and Harper are such a combustible pair that they’ll set your tablet on fire!
Drake is absolutely a beautiful package despite his upbringing and the darkness that he buries deep. Inside and out, I thought I couldn’t fall in love with the man more, when he completely ramps it up a notch during a contract reading scene. He is all and nothing, patient and full-throttle, everything at the same time. He’ll be sitting quietly, but the chaos roiling underneath the facade is something that only Harper can see. She sees into him and I love that she understands and sees that his darkness is dangerous, yet all the while, she’s not afraid. Unconditional love is why I read romances.
Lee knows and lives music. She’s passionate about it, and it shows in her writing. There is a technical quality within her books that enraptures me as much as the characters she writes about. Holy crap, how she can write about Drake singing into a microphone during a concert, and turn it into an intensely personal and sexy act with mere words, is a gift.
It’s like she’s writing books that are the perfect food to nurture my Rocker loving soul, and I know I am committed to reading everything that she writes. Music is life, and books feed the soul. This duet does both. 5 Stars.
Second book of the duet, this book follow straight from the ending of book one flawlessly so you don’t need to go back to book one just to see how it’s end.
Harper still the stubborn sassy girl as ever. At times I really wanna strangle her for her stubbornness and trust issue. Another time I admire her strength and kick**s attitude. Love her for her vulnerability behind her hard edges. She’s definitly the perfect match for Drake specially for all the hard dirty angry steamy scenes
And Drake… Hotdangit this man! A joker, a Playboy… At one glance. But I know from the start he is so much more than that and he is. His unreadable expression at times. His scary murderous look when provoke bad enough. His fire and cool demenour that can change so easy like a flick of a light. All comes to his background. My heart ache and angry for what had happened to this beautiful man.
Oh how Lee write amazing story with this duet. Great characters you will love with their strenght and no nonsense attitude.
If you thing Drake is sexy with his rock star- shipness, then Harper is the sex goddess with her knowledge in sounds.
I have no shame to say I definitly fangirling Harper.
4,5 star baby!
Betrayed by the first man she opened her heart to again, she closes it off and takes a step back.
Hes shocked she thinks so little of him, after everything they have shared.
Her design was her ticket to freedom and from her eyes hes just another person who stole from her.
He might be the big star on the stage, but off the stage hes just a guy who loves a girl and needs to man up to reclaim her.
The biggest question is can she forgive him, and will she?
This is a direct continuation of their story following on from the cliffy revelation at the end of “sing to me”
The edge becomes visible, the shock the horror the unimaginable pain palpable.
If like me you loved the first half of this duet then it’s pretty much a forgone conclusion that you will be equally amazed by this.
Drake and Harper, Harper and drake so fierce and stubborn are they. When they work together they are out of this world, but when they crash and burn oh my you might want to take cover!
Their darkness is frighteningly sensual and sexy. The tension is delicious, and the angst they create followed by drama is phenomenal.
The storyline is so much more than a rockstar romance as it has the underlying threat of death and destruction lurking underneath the chords of chaos.
Lee piper is definetly one author that can make you one click! Her books are guaranteed to leave you both speechless and emotional in the very best way.
I cant wait Tobias the tortured musicians story. Its going to be equally epic!
Book 2 – you must have read book 1 first
Drake and Harper’s story picks up right where Sing to Me left off. With a Bang!!! This one is packed with the sparks and off the charts chemistry of two people who can’t help but love each other along with the pain they cause each other when they’re not honest…
Questions are answered in this one and we get to the bottom of previous lies and misunderstandings. Plenty of angst, emotion and I have to say the connection between Drake and Harper is one of my favourites this year.
Song for Me is Rock Star done Right!!!
Drake and Harper’s story continues in this next story. An enemies to lovers story that has many twists and turns. It is a rocky journey for these two, until they air everything and sort it all out. Loved it. Highly recommend!!

The second installment of Harper and Drake’s story, Song for Me by Lee Piper, is just as good as the first, if not better! It picks up where we were left hanging in book one. You must read the first book to grasp and feel the intensity of this book. In the first book, we got the character build up and their relationships. Song for Me is non-stop everything from start to finish. Emotions jump off the pages and they are just so intense that you feel like you are burnt by them.
I felt like this book just flew on by. I think that was more so because I was hooked and couldn’t put it down. The angst, heartache, family love and drama, outside issues, enemies to lovers and a rockstar thrown together makes one story you won’t forget. There is a gamut emotion in this story that I have not felt in a while reading. There was just enough of it all that you didn’t want to say “enough is enough”. It is so well written that I was sad when I was finished.
Drake is nothing if not persistent. Even with what Harper accuses him of and how she tries with everything she has to walk away, he won’t have any of it.
Harper has had enough and the clock is ticking on a deal about to go south. When Harper and the persistent Drake collide, sparks fly, the world fades away and everyone can breathe a little easier. Or can they, when that many sparks fly?
We are taken on a roller-coaster of a ride in this conclusion to the duet that I am ready to do a re-read already.
OMG!!!! I adore Harper and Drake so damn much!! This book picks up right where we left off and wow what a book. I don’t think I could love these two perfectly flawed yet perfect together characters more. Lee did a wonderful job answering the questions left after the first book. Definitely a must read duet!!!!!
Song for Me was the conclusion of Drake and Harper’s story and packed the same punch as the first book.
Drake’s take charge attitude was almost the end of this romance story before it ever began, but with his percipience he was able to win the girl. Harper’s trust issues were front and center throughout the book, at times a little too much, but her kick a$$ attitude was in full fight mode too. Reaching for our dreams is always scary, but when you have a hotter than hades rock god in your corner having our back failing isn’t an option.
There was always the hidden dark element to Drake, and upon discovering what he endured as a child left me loving this rock god even more. His past could have destroyed him, but he didn’t let it. The darkness he kept hidden is the perfect match to Harper’s hard exterior. Drake and Harper are the perfect duet!
Awesome series hot as hell a must read
From the moment Song For Me landed on my kindle I could not put it down. I have been patiently waiting for the second half of this duet to make it to my lap so I could know about the cliffy we were left with in book one, Sing To Me.
Thankfully Song For Me picks up immediately where Sing To Me leaves us hanging, so there is no waiting to see what’s going on. We follow Drake and Harpers relationship as they navigate Drakes betrayal, and Harper is just as stubborn and strong as ever.
I love this couple together, they are sexy and passionate, and all around perfect for each other. They really help each other overcome their fears, and issues. Plus lets not forget how perfectly swoon worthy Drake is. *sigh*
Over all I really loved how Piper wrapped up this duet and left us intrigued on whose book is to come next. I can’t wait to read that one. I also really love how well these books are written. They are not a corny Rockstar Romance, they have depth to them. 5 much deserved stars from me!
Lee Piper has outdone herself with the conclusion to Harper and Drake’s story. She pulled me into her words and the lives of her characters as a composer draws you into the music one note at a time.
I’m a Rock Star romance junkie and Song for Me was the drug that sent me soaring high!!
Phenomenal ending to this epic love story!!!
Drake has a lot more patience than I could ever dream of when it comes to dealing with Har.
She is dead set on self-destruction. Every time a logical situation presents itself she goes all psycho high horse independent unthinking cave-woman. 75% of the time her logic made absolutely no sense to me. If she could get it from the collector then why not Drake? How would the change anything? It was still her idea!
I wanted to shake her… okay I’m ranting
Despite the edge to Drake, he was perfect for Har. He was her anchor her rock, even when she couldn’t see it. Each time she would start to drift he would slowly reel her back in and ground her. Help her see herself in a positive light. I think in a lot of ways she grounded him as well.
She saw him.
The revelation about his singing and the depth behind his vocals – Ripped my heart out.
Her uncle made me ill.
In Song for Me, their story comes full circle. Harper is forced to face her fears and take that first step, though this time she is not alone. The shattered fragments that somehow became Harper’s life are pieced back together. Drake was solid when it came to being there for Har. No matter how hard she pushed or how desperately she tried to run ~
He chased ~ He believed ~ He stayed.
I am smitten with the cast from this series. Each character is written to complement their counterparts. Such a vast array of personalities and quirks make this little group feel like family.
Easy to follow story lines that captivate and hold the reader from the opening page to the closing.
There were a couple of plot related scenes I questioned~ it didn’t lessen the overall story they just tickled at the back of my conscience causing me to keep asking why? But that is me.
I am looking forward to the next story in this series
This is book two in their duet so if you were waiting for the complete story you can indulge now.
‘ve waited what’s felt like a lifetime for the conclusion to this duet and after that humdinger of a cliffhanger in Book 1, I devoured every word faster than a speeding bullet. What an amazing read! The finer details, the passion, the angst and drama. A read to make your heart truly sing!
Drake and Harper’s story picks up right where Sing to Me left off. We left them in a rather precarious situation in the last story, with Drake’s betrayal. I was was fully invested in their story and was desperate for some kind of miracle to happen. These to two perfectly flawed characters melded together like a broken puzzle and those angsty moments made this book unputdownable.
Sing To Me was very well written and had me anxiously turning the pages to see what would happen next. It was everything I want from a rockstar romance and so much more. It was an emotional rollercoaster of heartache, forgiveness and hope. It was sexy, swoony and tragically brilliant at the same time! If you’re looking for a rock star plot that’s a bit different than the norm, and love a bit of angst, turmoil and suspense, then look no further than this book.
Where do I even start? This book was everything and more!! I mean I loved Harper in the first book but I really love her now! She is sassy, fierce, feisty and in charge of her life. She doesn’t sit back and let men run all over her. She is one to get in your face and lets you know exactly what she thinks. I seriously love all that about her! She is one strong woman despite all that she’s been thru in her life. Drake is a sexy rock God but we get to know him a whole lot better in this book. We get to see what all he went thru and why he sings the way that he does. He has so much passion that it falls into how he a relationship with Harper. He wants the best for her but sometimes he oversteps and she calls him out on him every time. These two are explosive but at the same time truly care about each other. This book was so much better then the first! I couldn’t put it down!!!!
Finally the ending to a great cliffhanger! I love that this book starts off literally at the end of the last one, so there’s no need to re-read or there be an amount of time that passed and attempt to catch up with context clues. After Harper overhears Drake selling her out to someone, she is angry and hurt. What she doesn’t know is that Drake isn’t necessarily selling her out, but rather trying to take an alternative route to resolve her problem. This book mainly focuses on that alternative method in addition to the race to the clock to keep her and her loved ones alive. There wasn’t much to say about this book except that it was a great ending to the duet where everything is resolved and we get a HEA for the characters. I also enjoy that we get a little teaser at the end on who the next books are going to be surrounding!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I waited to write a review for this book thinking I’d be able to find adequate words for how good it was but I still can’t.
What I can say is it was brilliant. I was dying to read this and I was definitely not disappointed. I was drawn in to the drama and the characters kept me there with them. A fantastic storyline and so addicting you just want more. A must read duet.
4 Stars
Song for Me is book two in the On Tour duet, and the fourth book in the Rock Me series.
At the end of Sing to Me we were left with a cliffhanger. Drake and Harper’s story picks right there after. There were lies and misunderstandings that needed to be set straight. And finally questions were ultimately answered. There’s no denying Harper and Drake’s chemistry, and the sparks are still there between them as well as their undeniable connection.
Song for Me had plenty of angst and an abundance of emotion. It was the right ending to Harper and Drake’s beautiful story.
4.4 stars
After a whopper of a cliffhanger, this book picks up right where the first book ended and gave me all the answers that I so desperately needed. This book will make no sense if the first book isn’t read first for this reason so it is imperative to read it in order. I will be the first to admit that I was a little worried about whether this author would be able to mend my heart. I had nothing to fear because Drake was EVERYTHING and then some. His steadfast devotion was swoon-worthy. I loved the strength in Harper as she tried to succeed on her own and in also her slowly seeing that it was okay to finally trust people, especially Drake. I also enjoyed seeing older characters again (/sigh I still have a mad crush on Zeke).
There were parts of the story that frustrated me, mainly how things were handled with her Uncle and The Collector. It felt unresolved to me and rushed. Especially, after all the buildup. Even though the ending felt rushed and was a happily for now ending I have no doubt that they will be a Happily ever after couple because these two were written in the stars. I liked seeing a glimpse of who the next book will be in this series. My interest is most definitely piqued.
This was an amazing book to finish off this duet, i loved Drake and Harpers story, it fit so well into the other books in the series and am excited for me.
I loved how this book started off from where the first book finished so as soon as you opened that page it was go time and it never stopped until the last page.
This book had it all the steamy scenes the fantastic story, it was emotional and we really dig deep into who Harper and Drake were. I loved how it was both main characters really helping each other but I will admit I loved how much support Drake was when you thought he wouldn’t be.
I really loved these characters and they were both just looking for someone to love them and when they were together you could never mistake there chemistry or how firey they were. I really loved Drakes confidence but it wasn’t because he was cocky it was because he would believe in Harper so much he had confidence for the both of them.
This book was just everything and more and if you love the Rock star genre and looking for an awesome story then you have to read this series and especially this duet.
