Somewhat Scandalous is a fast paced romantic mystery set against the back drop of the dazzling Regency era. It can be read standalone, or as part of the ongoing Brambridge Novels mystery series.

One of the most original story lines that I have read in a long time. Very believable characters and scenarios. Highly recommend this book – just finished and have already bought the next in the series.
I hated the ending!
Was a page turner. Great read
Pleasantly surprised it wasn’t your typical historical romance!
Very glad I discovered her books. Started with the first one in a series and at the end of each book I cannot wait to get the next one. I’m now up to 5. Her writing of the characters make you root for them. I do not want to put it down. There are chuckle out loud moments. Very entertaining. I’ll be sad when the series is over.
I struggled to finish this book. It seemed too long and I was ready for it to be over long before it was. I typically devour a book in a day or two but this one wasn’t that compelling. I liked the characters and even the story line but I lost interest.
poor storyline
The story moved a bit slowly and was a bit too complicated.
I found this book difficult to read. The things that the heroine endured were unending and I thought the spymaster should have been more heroic.
Not the most gripping read but an afternoon’s pastime. It took awhile to get into the story.
This book was more of a mystery with romance added. Great characters. You can read this as a stand-alone but I enjoyed it so much I bought the second book in the series.
while I loved the characters, there was some frustration as the flow of narrative was weird – that said believe this author is worth watching and reading
Ugh. Long time lapses with little to no character development. I couldn’t figure out why they liked each other and didn’t do anything about it.
I was not a fan of this book. I do not recommend
