Oh Carter and Freya Something to Lose is the second book in the Entwined In You Series, and it will break your heart
So I don’t want to spoil book one for anyone yet to read it, but a bomb was dropped at the end leaving us with a cliffhanger and we start the second book close to where we left off. We follow Freya’s journey while she tries to deal with the situation she is left with and whether her and Carter can ever resolve the hurt caused.
As with Something New these characters are very realistic and it makes them easy to love I’m still a little mad at Carter for his actions not only at the end of Something New, but also when the pair are finally in the same location again, but I’m sure some of those things are cleared up in his POV books in the series
Freya and Carter do not have it easy by any means, but the things they go through in this book are extremely relatable and it makes this even more heart breaking. And of course Ashlee surprised me again with another cliffhanger I didn’t see coming I’m looking forward to seeing how this couple grow in Something Everlasting
I loved book 2 even more than book 1. Freya & Carter are perfect and I can’t wait to dive into book 3 for their happy ever after.
Good heavens, more curveballs! While Freya finds her own two feet again, her road back to love is anything but smooth. It’s hard to say much more without spoiling anything, but Freya’s highs and lows this time around are just as shocking. And I’m left wondering the consequences of the path that she has chosen, or rather, has chosen her. On to book three!
A page turning sequel to Carter and Freya’s story!
Picking back up from that ending of book one you see Freya struggle with Carter, i can see her point it was a huge blow to hee heart but she picks herself up, dusts herself off and holds her head strong.
Her friendship with Courtney i was a little on the fence with because they was ok one minute and the next you wouldn’t think they was friends and Freya needs her friends round her.
When we see Carter again my little heart skipped a beat, the man knows what he wants but he’s got alot of groveling to do.
I liked Carter alot more in this book, not that i didn’t like him in the first book but in this one his character grew leaps and bounds and so did Freya’s!
The ending of this one i was just as shocked as the first one if not more.
Book three is already loaded up on my kindle!
Loved the excitement and twists in this story kept me wanting to know more and really hoping for a happy ever after.
First I would like to thank Ashlee for contacting me and introducing her lovely books to me!
Book 2 starts where #1 left off. Now not sure how I feel about the first couple of chapters. Some situations were rushed and kinda forgotten.. Of course, it gets right on track and better.
Freya has started a new job and is doing anything and everything to avoid Carter. All is going smoothly until her boss presents a business trip to Paris with her assistant.
This book is full of surprising moments and heartbreak.
Can’t continue without spoilers!
Looking forward to next installment. Once again Ashlee ended this book with a bang!
Something to Lose by Ashlee Rose is the second book in the series and is the continuation of Freya and Carter.
It was fun, fast paced, easy to follow, answered some questions from the first book Something New. It was full of passion, emotion and full of love and loss.
Can’t wait for book 3
