Matthew Drafted first round pick when I was seventeen, playing first line at eighteen, branded NHL’s bad boy at nineteen. At twenty-three I was cut from the team and living back home with my parents. A knock on the door brought an opportunity I couldn’t turn down. All I had to do was prove I learned from my mistakes, so no way would I fall for a chick with a pouty mouth even if I wanted to spend … pouty mouth even if I wanted to spend all day devouring it.
Karrie
When my father gave me a job, I had no idea it would be to babysit some washed up NHL player. He wanted me to be his chaperone, his overpaid babysitter. I thought it was a joke. Then I met him, Matthew Grant. I wasn’t prepared for this particular bad boy. He’s not only hot but he’s arrogant and kinda sweet in a ‘you make me crazy’ kind of way.
Basically now that he’s finished screwing up his life, he’s decided to turn mine upside down.
She’s the first thing I’ve ever wanted more than hockey.
He’s the guy I know I should stay away from.
But what if this thing that started out so wrong turns into something so perfect?

Matthew has been assigned a chaperone by his new team to keep him in line. His chaperone is none other than the bosses daughter Karrie. I loved these two as a couple! Karrie was sweet, sassy and didn’t take any mess from Matthew. Matthew was such a softie and I loved the love he had for her and how he was so protective of her as a couple! They had the perfect combination of sweet, funny, sexy and endearing moments. I just couldn’t get enough of them in this story!!
This book was such a pleasant surprise!! I’ve been in a horrible book funk and after reading I’ve been rejuvenated!! This was a well written, evenly paced story that I enjoyed very much! I’ve read other books by this author but this hands down was my favorite!!!
Another thing I loved was while I reading this book, I felt like I was one of the bunch. It was like being with old friends. So imagine my surprise when I found out this was the second book in a series!! I will definitely be checking out Something So Right and I can’t wait for Something so Irresistible!
“I love you,” I tell her quietly. “I love you so much that my heart hurts when you’re not there. I love you so much that every breath I take is for you.” I kiss her lips.
I have now read all but one of Natasha Madison’s book (and you can bet I’ll be rectifying that real soon) and I can say with a a bit of hesitation that each book gets better and better!
Natasha is the Queen of Romantic Comedy. The worlds she creates are beautiful and full of amazing strong and powerful characters. Each characters brings a little something different to the table and each one is better than the last.
In Something So Perfect we get to revisit the characters first introduced in Natasha’s debut novel. Parker abd Cooper’s Matthew is now all grown up… and he is a sexy and troubled ALPHA!
Following some poor decisions we meet Matthew as he begins his second chance, one that comes with a Chaperone. Enter the beautiful, independent and high spirited Karrie!
Obviously I love reading Natasha’s words but more than that I love her characters. The are nuanced and beautiful. She creates these great Alpha males and strong independent females.
Something So Perfect is the perfect blend of romance, comedy, sexy fun, and suspense! I laughed, I cried, I got angry! This story has everything and so much more!
I am so excited to see what Natasha has in store next for her readers! Cheers and FIVE Sexy Funny Stars to Natasha and Something So Perfect!
Can a very bad boy behave when put on the naughty step by a very attractive yet sassy woman? Surprise – the answer is a most DEFINITE yes! I mean sure – he may have had a few opportunities to maybe stretch the rules of good behaviors, but completely justified *wink*.
One of my biggest ‘pet peeves’ is meek women. Just no – no thank you. I need my women strong and independent; willing to stand up to the hero. Well, Karrie does try. But when Matthew is like a man-on-a-mission, she just gets cuffed by his actions and has to go along with the ride. These two characters stole my heart equally. Ms Madison had just enough humor, warmth and love that you felt along the pages. There is action and a minor twist, but not to leave you wrung out from drama. It’s just everything I look for in a contemporary romance novel.
I loved the other intertwining stories but this can be read as a standalone. When you are looking for that perfect balance of delivery in a story, look no further! 5 out of 5 stars
