His profession is brutal, savage. Violent. And it turns her on.When Tristan got a new roommate in the form of a six-foot-three tattooed and pierced beast of a man, she wasn’t prepared for the instant lust that claimed her. She should have made sure this stayed strictly platonic in nature, but it seemed Kash might have other plans in mind. The attraction was magnetic and powerful. It was undeniable, … powerful. It was undeniable, no matter how hard they fought it.
When she stumbled upon an underground cage fight, the last person she expected to see was Kash, bloody and bruised and destroying his opponent. She should have run the other way, but instead she found herself aroused and wanting him even more.
Kash was a fighter and a damn good one at that. He’s stayed away from relationships and focused on his craft.
And it’s worked out well for him … until now.
He didn’t mean to get involved with his new roommate, but the curvy little brunette had every possessive instinct in him rising. From the moment he saw her, he was obsessed.
But those well-thought-out intentions are a thing of the past.
Now that he has Tristan, he’s not letting her go.
Warning: If you’re used to Jenika’s insta-love dirty books, you’re still getting it with this one. It has a HEA and features a totally obsessed hero who only wants one woman. Previously published under the same title, this story has been extensively reworked, new content has been added, and it has been re-edited.

A Dark & Gritty, Yet Soul Touching Tale of Love & Redemption…
I have often stated in my reviews of Jenika Snow’s work that her stories are fantastic but how I wished they were longer, more in-depth. How I would happily buy a novel length, fully fleshed out version of almost everything she writes. And here, with this book, my prayers have finally been answered!
“Something Fierce” by Jenika Snow is a violent, fight club-esque, yet soul touching and poignant tale. It is dark in theme and gritty in feel. A story that will leave an indelible mark on your heart and unexpectedly punch you in the gut with its raw, torturously painful, yet wholly, almost innocently sincere, human landscape.
The story of Tristan, an anti-social, solitary woman who maintains her independence by keeping a roommate in order to keep her rent and bills paid and on time. A woman who, while fiery and strong in her own right, is also unsure and unsettled with her place in life, always a bit out of step with those around her. And Kash, an emotionally fragmented, beast of a man, who lives life within the horrors of underground cage fighting as a way to deal with his past. A childhood so horrifically abusive, he views himself as forever broken, unworthy of love, and destined to be nothing more than a monster who demolishes people for a living, forever stained with rage and blood.
What follows is a story that is as heartbreaking as it is “awww” inducing. A thought provoking tale of violence begetting violence, and how as individuals, we often don’t see ourselves for who we really are, and instead get trapped within the loop of our own preconceived notions and circumstances. It is a story, that unlike Snow’s typical super short and fast paced novellas, takes it time, and methodically takes you through a series of events so devastating it will make your breath hitch dozens of times and leave your chest aching throughout.
Here, Snow again offers something much darker, more introspective than her typical sexy as sin, insta-everything, over-the-top fare. Instead offering something rooted in realism, steeped with need and emotional care, and built on a foundational idea that unfiltered, messy yet pure love can indeed sooth the savage beast and help heal a broken soul. It is glorious. And a must read book, from a must read author in my opinion, easily making my top reads of 2020 list!
Bad boy fans, this is your new favorite read! Kash is the ultimate bad boy with a good heart. He’s an underground cage fighter who loves the rush from fighting. He tries not to care about anything or anyone but that all changes when he meets his new room mate, Tristan. They have a connection right away. Kash tries to convince Tristan he is no good for her but Tristan sees the good in him. Get ready to be hooked on them right away. Them fighting against their feelings had me wanting to fully engaged. I couldn’t put it down. I needed them together! And when they do get together, talk about steamy! Oh man! Hope you have a glass of water next to you because things are going to get hot. And all you alpha hero fans are gonna swoon so hard. I loved this book. I was so enthralled that when I reached the end I was like no! I want more Kash and Tristan. This is a must read for romance fans. I did this buddy read with Stephanie Nichole and we loved every minute!
Something Fierce has everything you’d want from a steamy romance. The chemsitry and connection between Kash and Tristian.
Tristian is a sweet girl that has just got left high and dry by her now former roommate. Desperate she takes her friend up on the offer to help her find a new roommate. When Kash walks in everything changes.
Kash is the tattooed bad boy with hidden secrets. He’s drawn to Tristian instantly but he fights it until he can’t anymore. He comes to her rescure more than once. You see the goodness that Kash possesses in glimpses.
When Kash’s secrets come out can Tristian and Kash make it work?
Tristan and Kash become roommates in a weird way. Both are insanely attracted to each other but neither are looking for a relationship, so they fall into an easy friendship.
After an incident, Kash becomes even more protective of Tristan, not that she seems to mind. There attraction for each other is written on each others face whenever they are in a room together.
Kash is holding back because he thinks she will be disgusted by what he does for a living. However, that isn’t the case and the all bets are off.
This was a quick love story between a brooding hero and a sweet girl. It was a bit predictable, but Tristan and Kash have a ton of chemistry that can’t be ignored.
Kash’s hard exterior can only be softened through Tristan’s love.
I enjoyed this novella.
Fighter, friends-to-lovers, insta-love.
Fight to the finish
What a sweet little love story. True to form, for this author, this couple has an instant connection. Unlike in previous books though, these two ignore it until situations change. I really enjoyed this book, the author made it very realistic and the HEA was worth the angst. I look forward to reading the next book.
