USA Today bestselling author Claudia Burgoa brings you an all-new friends-to-lovers second chance romance. Made of Honor clashes with When Harry Met Sally in a sweet and seductive love story of hopeful hearts and second chances.
Men and women can be friends.
At least that’s what I’ve been telling myself since George walked into my life.
We bicker as much as we have each other’s backs.
We’re … as we have each other’s backs.
We’re inseparable.
So, she left to find herself and I feel like I can’t breathe without her.
It’s okay, it’s only temporary.
But when she walks back into my life, it’s on the arm of a stranger.
Her fiancé.
Seriously, I just realized I’m in love with her and she’s engaged?
I have six weeks to convince George we’re meant to be together—not only in the kitchen or be forced to watch her marry another man.
Time is running out, and soon, she’ll be gone from my life.
I’m risking everything, will that be enough?
Someday, Somehow is a sexy romantic comedy that’s equal parts funny and flirty. It’s a standalone, full-length slow-burn romance you don’t want to miss. Bring the laughs and the tissues!

Auggie is the son of a world famous chef/entrepreneur. Auggie carries the baggage of his father’s legacy and the childhood trauma of a mother who walked away, never to be heard from again. Georgie is the new college kid on the block and is buckling under the pressure of living up to her single father’s expectations.
If you enjoy a slow burn romance, then this might be right up your ally. If you are a fan of friends to lover stories, then you might just love Someday, Somehow. If you are looking for more diversity in your romance characters, this could be your new favorite. Once again, Claudia Burgoa manages to blend her tropes well to give readers the most bang for their buck.
Georgia and Augustin make the sweetest couple. This book gripped me from the beginning. The camaraderie and kinship that these two have for each other have surmounted the “goal couple”. This is an adorable story about how an out of this world attraction is put aside for a forever friendship. I enjoyed how realistic their friendship was and how devoted they were to each other’s success. My husband and I were best friends that fell in love, so I felt the same things that George and Auggie felt. You’re scared to ruin a beautiful friendship, but you want the blissful dynamic of more. Claudia has written another fabulous five-star read. She is a wizard at storytelling and drawing you into the world of her characters. And when the stars align beautiful magic happens! I guarantee this story will not disappoint!
I was given a free copy in exchange for my honest review.
Someday Somehow is such a sweet, sexy and cleverly written best friends to lovers romantic comedy. Ms. Burgoa is the master of slow burn romance, she creates magic every time and once again she outdid herself by writing another beautiful and heartwarming book.
Auggie and George met in college and their friendship develops over the course of several years. From the beginning, I adored all the qualities of their friendship, I just knew these two were soulmates and were meant to be together (even though they were clueless about it). I was immediately charmed by the both of them and their magnetic chemistry. The depth of their bond, camaraderie and support for each other was absolutely everything and made for a enjoyable read. I also loved how their families intertwined and had a very strong relationship. Auggie made my heart swoon as he would do anything for George. And George with all of her passion, tenacity and quirky personality, was simply wonderful.
Although Someday Somehow has relatively low angst, Auggie and George had their ups and downs. Their character development thrived throughout those times and made an already fantastic story even better. Someday Somehow’s storyline flowed naturally, with precision and my heart is still full after finishing it. Although I didn’t want Auggie and George’s story to end, I was highly anticipating how their story would turn out and let me just say, it was absolutely PERFECT!!
This story is truly the art of the slow burn.
This story takes place over 12 years, but the flow and the rhythm of this story is beautifully done! The characters are so well written that you feel like you truly know them.
This is the story of Auggie and George, this is their story of friendship that is honest and true and not always hearts and flowers. They meet in college and they grow together and sometimes apart over the years. I loved how their friendship trumps everything. I admired how both Auggie and George only wanted each other’s happiness even at the expense of their own feelings.
I was rooting for them throughout the story, I was also wanting to shake both of them at times and tell them to see what is right in front of them. But it took years and growth, on both their parts, to finally realize what their friendship truly was!
Family means everything to these two and I loved how even the secondary characters play such a phenomenal role in this story.
Ms. Burgoa never fails to amaze me with her writing talents! This is such a well rounded, well-written story about the true meaning of friendship and family.
An epic slow burn, best friends to lovers romance. It was almost torture flipping through every sweet, drama filled page. The build up between the characters was mind consuming and I loved every single second of it. Prepare to get emotional. The ending was PERFECT. Full five stars!!!
Another wonderful love story by Claudia Burgoa. I loved both characters development, even though there were times I wanted to reach into the story and shake them both.
George begins to feel unrequited love and as a reader you want so much for Auggie to wake up and see what is in front of him before it is to late. You question if he will ever recognize what deep down he has known for so long. When he finally becomes aware of his feelings and decides to act on them he realizes he may have he waited too long. Friendship may be all that they will ever have between them.
Someday, Somehow by Claudia Burgoa is a well written story, there is plenty of ups and downs with a whole lot of twists and turns. The characters are well developed and intriguing. These are two characters who have an unpleasant first meeting but soon things start to change to friendship. For one it starts to feel like more but due to some miscommunication they start in different directions. I enjoyed Auggie he was a very intriguing character yes he has made mistakes but he did seem to learn from them and he is hoping George will see him in a different light. George is coming home and is bringing a surprise with her and this is just some of what will have you loving this story. There are places in this story that will have you shaking your head and wondering what the heck are they thinking or in some places you will let out a giggle and the next you may feel a bit misty eyed. This story has a bit of everything for everyone who loves a great romance. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and I highly recommend it.
