Got a chance to hit my tbr stack with this read and a great choice it was. Okay she’s a little spoiled and bratty but to hit the trifecta all in one day is more than most mere humans can bare. She has the day from hell that would be enough on a one on one basis and hits the road. Seth another wounded soul ends up being her “Captain America” and rescuing her. Now this is a nice easy angst, some emotional stuff, and a friendly helpful spirit. It’s emotional so yeah you will get the feels from these two as their friendship grows and they end up being just what the other needs to heal those wounds, grow up, release and turn their someday into right now. It’s a great read from this author who loves to trip us up and put those emotions we hide from the world to good use.
This book had me at the cover, such a beautiful cover and it was such a beautiful story it didn’t disappoint loved this book a lot.
I am not sure how she does it but I swear every time I finish a Liz Lovelock book, I feel like there is a message in there and you feel like you learn something. I felt like I got so much from this book.
1. Learn to forgive before it’s too late.
2. Trust your heart
3. Learn the value of life
As soon as I picked up this book, it just made me want to get into my car and just drive, I don’t know why but I really did it made me feel like an adventure. Even though Chole left under really bad circumstances it just gave me a really good feeling.
Chole all I have to say is if I had a day like her I would have done the exact same thing. For everything she went through she was one tough cookie and started to really value life and not take anything for granted. She was also sweet and just wanted someone to love her for who she was. I really loved that when she got to Canyon Bay she started to learn about herself and really stood up for herself. It was so good to see Chole grow throughout this book
Seth is sooooooo sweet and I love that about him, with all the demons inside of him, I think he just wanted to change but didn’t know how. Even though he was dealing with his stuff, he put everyone first and was so kind hearted and really felt everything that life through at him. I am not saying he was perfect he didn’t know how to forgive himself and took that out on other people and sometimes really acted out, but with that being said you could not dislike Seth he was just a beautiful guy.
I loved this story and when you were thinking what’s going to happen next boom here comes the emotional side of the story and no what you excepted which I love.
I laughed, cried, swooned, and just really loved every part of this book. 5 stars for this emotionally charged fantastic book.
