I loved the distinct and always hilarious personality given to the characters, to the point where the reader is most certainly shaking her head and thinking “that really reminds me of so and so.” The story itself unfolds at a perfect pace and the plot never felt drawn out or rushed. This is a fun book to read. The main character inherits a haunted cottage. She’s a bumbling witch. The previous owner was her aunt who tries to scare her away. However, after she takes control and performs a spell to contain her aunt, a different ancestress becomes apparent and trouble ensues.
