Interesting.
Not my cup of tea so I couldn’t get into it.
Enjoyed page by page. Did not skip to end to see if I wanted to continue reading or not. Would read more.
Good character development and a surprising twist at the end, but I had a hard time visualizing the world to which the author was trying to take us.
Awesome. Great writing. For anyone familiar with Shakespeare, this series will tickle throughout. Even if not well-versed in the Bard, still a fantastic storyline, excellent characters and talent to restore faith in modern writing.
Wasn’t my kind of book. Couldn’t finish it.
Very entertaining read.
Good steam punk story about a man framed for being a traitor. He is released early and returns to the city where is CO is. Events happen quickly but with lots of character development and the truth and real traitor is revealed.
An interesting storyline. At the end one is left with the desire for more. There are a whole new world of possibilities.
I really enjoyed this story about a man who is forced to plead guilty to treason for something he didn’t do. When he is released, he finds himself fleeing assasins and helping out a young girl who is trying to steal his draco. The characters and story were well-written and engrossing.
Interesting characters with good fleshing out of a ensemble cast. Being former infantry really liked the main character. Interesting build of this alternate world/future universe. Already bought and read second book, and even better than first.
This was an action-packed fun reading experience. I would love to read more in this series with these same characters.
Good read
Very interesting book full of compelling characters and an original story line. L [king forward to seeing more of Gideon and his twisted world.
Good well paced action with interesting characters.
Very enjoyable characters, I will be buying more of the series to see what happens to them next.
I want more Gideon Quinn adventures. It was cool that the smartest person around was Mia the dodger. The world building with all the literature references was funny and kept me looking for them.
Loved it, looking forward to the next installment. It is a stand alone ..
Good solid story. Likeable main character, backstory told well and enough left over for sequels.
The main complement about this book is that it is very skillfully written and interesting. The level of intrigue greatly overwhelms the action however. The main character is a bit of Captain Jack Sparrow and the story seems a lot more of a detective novel than a science fiction story.
