My body had never been touched by a man. Then I was sold to seven of them. The city was my only chance to survive, but I didn’t make it an hour before I was caught. They stripped me, punished me, and then auctioned me off. Not to just one man, but to seven battle-hardened brutes hungry for a woman to claim and ravish in the most shameful ways imaginable. But even as these rugged mercenaries set … rugged mercenaries set about mastering my virgin body and teaching me what it means to belong to them completely, they offer me something that I never thought I’d have…
Though they bought me for their use, I have become much more than merely their property. They paid for me with money, but in my heart I know they would protect me with their lives.
Publisher’s Note: Sold includes spankings and rough, intense sexual scenes. If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book.

I must say I was pleasantly surprised by just how much I enjoyed this story, I mean how it seemed much more than an erotic reverse harem to me.
It is that: plenty of huge muscular Alpha men (7) to 1 wild (as in untamed/uncivilized) young female & sizzling sex, but the author truly (IMO) makes a firm connection between Trissa (h) & the reader.
Normally I do not care for snarky smart mouth heroines because it just seems so contrived, but Trissa’s background & life before being ‘captured’ makes it very believable for her character to be just that. She’s plucky, sassy, fiery, combative & truthfully hard headed & sometimes not at all realistic regarding her ability to retake her future into her own hands (especially toward the very end of the book).
Considering there were 7 men, the author did an excellent job fleshing out their individual personalities & even though they ‘purchased’ Trissa the author managed to keep them very likable. Overall, except for some ‘disciplinary spankings’, all 7 were physically careful & even gentle with her knowing she was a virgin. There came a time, due to a potential bloodbath by a violent mob, where there was one somewhat dub con situation with Trissa & one of the 7 mercenaries, but even then it was because they were working to save all their lives & they attempted to soothe Trissa through the experience.
I found myself genuinely intrigued & entertained by the story, there is violence, sorrow, loss, growth, enlightenment, suspense, sex & love. I cared about not only Trissa & her mercenaries but 2 secondary characters, Mattias & Elias who were the closest to kindness she had experienced in years after the death of her father. I had my fingers crossed for a HEA for Trissa & her men.
My emotions as I read the book varied from frustration, anger, sadness, excitement & hope, I truly enjoyed the book & think many other readers will as well.

I love twisted smut. It’s so much more satisfying than dewy eyed love. My happily ever after fantasies always involved a good hard spanking and a man not afraid to be wholly male. It’s fantasy, after all. Might as well be exciting and vigorating! There were no real virgins harmed in the reading and writing of this book. This is a true “guilty pleasure,” emphasis on the pleasure. If you like your men slightly twisted and your women headstrong and unrepentant, this takes bodice ripping to a whole new level. Sizzling and satisfying on so many levels, lovers of escapist D/s fiction will get a definite charge out of Ms. Renard.
This story has plenty of hot steamy sex ,but also had a romantic storyline. Tiffany wanted to explore all her sexual fantasies. And wow when she got the chance at the club it was intense, erotic, and, spicy hot hot hot.
Veronica Fox and Liam Sanderson are new narrators for me. They brought the sexy to life and flawlessly transitioned from one character to another.

This book was freaking amazing I loved the story plot. The twist and turns the characters experience is incredible.
This is my first read from Loki Renard and it won’t be my last. I liked the world that was created here. Many times authors ask a reader to really stretch their imaginations to go along with a story but I felt that the “unreal” aspects of the story were backed up with back story and the overall world in which the story took place.
This reverse harem story was HOT and had a very good twist to this genre.
Trissa is a young woman who finds herself in a very difficult situation and she uses her sass and funny swear words to try and get herself out of it. The men who buy her are big brutish mercenaries that are willing to spank the attitude out of her.
This new book by Loki was different from her previous books but I still loved it.
The difference would reveal spoilers so I won’t put those here. But I think it is writers growth more than anything.
This book made my heart feel so big and then RIPPED MY HEART OUT and then made it feel so big again! This was my first reverse harem and I loved it so much. Usually I find myself getting attached to the wrong guys in shows and books and whatever when there’s a group of them, and end up with very little screen time with my faves. I was worried that would happen in a RH story, where everyone’s getting gorgeous sex scenes except the one or two I am super crushing on. BUT NO. I fell for Tore and Mattias and they were huge parts of this story.
If your kink is exhibitionism and sharing you will love this book. My lil daddy kink loving heart loved the daddy bits with Mattias, and Tore being stern and deadpan and Viking and alpha AF, and also really cuddly and sweet two. Ugh. My heart.
Sold is the first book that I have read by Loki Renard. The setting is a post-apocalyptic United States.
I enjoyed reading Sold and will read more from this author.
I will say after reading one of the reviews that I do agree with her about all the use of the nicknames that Trissa called all these alpha’s and then reverting back to their real names was a bit confusing and I had to go back and figure out whom was whom. But other than that this book was right up my alley for the type of book that I like to read. I am going to give this book 3.5 stars because I felt like I had to research each name to match up the nickname with the real name.
I enjoyed this steamy erotic romance. It’s not all that dark and the characters are likable. Trissa does act pretty bratty but give the girl a break, she grew up wild and she’s not too happy about being taken captive and sold to seven mercenaries. (They treat her pretty well all things considered.) This book includes spanking scenes and rough sex, but it is all pretty hot.

I recently read Sold by Loki Renard, and as usual, I was blown away by her original story telling.
Also, this book is pretty dark and twisted. So, win-win.:))
I’ve read like, a million romance books in my time and basically I’ve turned into a jaded reader – it’s very hard to surprise me, because I’ve read it all. But, I was surprised by the events in this book. No spoilers – I don’t want to give anything away, but there were things I simply didn’t see coming. Which was super refreshing. And, the author still managed to stick the HEA. Score!
When a Loki Renard book releases, I don’t even bother to read the blurb, I simply one-click. If you haven’t tried her out yet, this book is a good place to start.
Trissa is a female that is trying to survive in a world where men have out number woman. Trissas father has done his best to show her how to survive in the world she now lives in. Trissa is discovered and is auctioned off to the highest bidder. Trissa fights tooth and nail to be free again. When she does something that changes everyones life. I enjoyed reading this book. I loved the storyline and plot. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This story has so many surprises, I started to feel like I was in a fun-house and I had no idea how I would find the exit. I’m not going to give any spoilers, but I will tell you that the story line isn’t quite like anything I’ve read before. The main character, Trissa, isn’t like any other female main character. And, while the men are the typical Alpha-Male types on the surface, things in this dystopian world have made the things on the inside very unique. The story line itself had twists and turns, and I admit I there were a few places where I had to pause and re-read a paragraph so I could make sure I had really read what I thought I did.
From the first page, you are in for a fast-paced, emotional, sometimes humorous, wild ride, so make sure you have the time to read it in one sitting. This is one you won’t be able to put down.
Awesome, another top read by Loki
In this dystopian romance women are seen as property due to the fact that a lot of women have died and those remaining are not all able to have children. This has caused their value to go up and so when Trissa is discovered she is sold. The men who buy her would prefer to tame her rather than break her and she forms a bond with each of them individually. Lots of action and steam in this book. Wow, as always this is another really intense read by the author. The author specializes in stories full of dark themes that push the boundaries of the reader’s imagination. This story will have you squirming in your seat with the usual heavy spanking and submission scenes that the author is known for, but will also have you flying through the book with it’s great plot

I really love Ms. Renard’s books. They are imaginative and often blend one or more genres. Sold blends the post-apocalyptic with an erotic romance and it does it well.
The characters in the book were good but Trissa had the most depth of all the characters. She was feisty and interesting. She hurled humorous and out of the ordinary insults at the men involved in the novel. The male characters were very similar in their personalities. A bit more time could have been spent relating what made each of them unique. The only exceptions were Mattias and the Sheriff. Matthias showed the best range of emotion and made the most changes of the male characters. He was a truly tender but strong individual. The Sheriff was a very good antagonist, even though his appearances tended to be brief.
Sold is a good story but it’s not my favorite written by this author
Here we have another smashing and really steaming story from this author. The story is good and the characters as well, of course in this setting everything is a bit over the top and sometimes a bit more than just a bit over the top. But that is perhaps what makes a fantasy a good one? This one at least keeps you entertained, it held me captive from the beginning to the end, so well done to the author.

This is an unorthodox romance set in a brutal world where life is cheap, except females lives. To be born female is to never truly be free of so Trissa thought. But through a series of bad decisions her life will be changed for ever!
Thrilling, action packed erotic tale!

What can I say, for a world where women are owned, this is a great read. She learns much and not just about sex, but so do the men. This story grabs and holds your attention.
It reaffirms that love is the greatest thing we need and that we can prosper more with fairness than violence
You will enjoy this story, don’t let the thought of so many men and one woman put you off it is not just sex.
