Quick read that takes you back to Cunningham Hills, Montana to meet Fallon and Noah as well as catching up on some old favorites. No real drama in this story and it did have some insta-love and plenty of heat so if that is what you are looking for, then this is the story for you. You will fall in love with Fallon and Noah.
Having read the previous books in the series, I was familiar with Fallon and Noah and was thrilled when I found out they were getting their own book. And let me just say, I was not disappointed!
The chemistry between Noah and Fallon was off the charts; they were just so in tune with each other. I loved that they were able to have playful banter but still be real and vulnerable with one another, and the tenderness they shared…especially the forehead kisses, just melted my heart.
“He kisses my forehead again, and I sigh. I’m getting way too used to the forehead kisses Noah likes to hand out.”
My heart hurt when I thought about Fallon growing up. I love her growth and the fact that she was welcomed with open arms into the King Family and Cunningham Falls community, for that matter. One of the things I absolutely love about Kristen Proby’s writing is that she always includes the strong bonds of family, friendship and community into each of her books, and it definitely shines through Soaring with Fallon.
This was the cutest, sweetest, and most adorable romance story I have had the pleasure of indulging myself with in a while. I enjoyed every single moment.
Back in Cunningham Falls is where I wish pretty much every book started. I have loved this Kristen Proby Crossover Collection and because I’ve been trying to read these books “in order” it took me a few books to get to Soaring With Fallon! Y’all it’s everything wonderful that we love from KP!
Noah is sure and loyal and so damn handsome! Fallon is sort of on this personal journey that’s taken her many places but before she knows it she’s in Cunningham Falls and it starts to feel like “home”. I love heroines written by Kristen because they are real women going through real stuff. I related so much to Fallon’s desire to keep people at arms length but I loved even more seeing her heart open little by little to Noah and the ladies of Cunningham Falls.
This book has the romance, the heat, the fantastic supporting characters and of course it has the Girls Night Out that we all look forward to in KP books! I love the buzzed lady banter.
This is another winner from Kristen Proby, and another winner in the Crossover Collection. Loved it!
Oh, how I love a big, loud, loving family story. I love the big family feel especially when one of the characters is not used to all the love that comes with a big family and how the family always has each other’s backs. Fallon has been in Cunningham Falls for about 2 years now. She left the big city after a family tragedy that pretty much left her alone against the world. Fallon is the local yoga instructor and is slowly finding her place in the community without even realizing how well she is being accepted and loved. When she finds an injured eagle she calls the local animal rescue facility, enter Noah King. When Noah arrives to collect the bird he finds Fallon sitting with the bird and talking to it. Noah is handsome, sweet, loving, protective of the people he loves. When Fallon’s home has water damage Noah is quick to bring her to his home and finds that he never wants her to leave. When Noah and Fallon heat up the sheets, they burn!! Will Fallon finally plant real roots or will she move on? Will Noah be able to convince Fallon to stay? Will they find their HEA? To get the answers you have to read it yourself. I love Kristin Proby books for the feel good family love and the heat these characters bring in and out of the bedroom. It is so fun to catch up with past characters and where they are in life. Totally recommend Soaring With Fallon by Kristin Proby and all the other books in her Crossover Collection. I have not read a Kristin Proby book that I dislike. I received an ARC in exchange for a honest review. 5 stars*****
Fallon and Noah are great together and there were times that I could relate totally with Fallon’s character. I saved reading this book for last in the crossover collection and I’m glad that I did. Fallon has been living in Cunningham Falls for a couple of years and wonders if it’s time to move on. She realizes that she isn’t ready to move on just yet because she actually likes the place. She meets Noah when she discovers a hurt eagle and has to call someone for help. Noah is drawn to her right away and is happy when she agrees to go on a date with him. The date gets even better when an emergency when forces Fallon from her home. Noah offers his extra room and is happy when she accepts. He is determined to get to know her better but almost blows it with his jealousy. Fallon enjoys learning about Noah’s job at the sanctuary and Noah enjoys being with her. After a serious accident, things change for Fallon and Noah, but is it for the better. Not only did I like reading Fallon and Noah’s story, but I also liked knowing more about Gray and Autumn
Wow, I loved this story!
Meet Fallon, she’s been moving all around for a while now, but she’s been in Cunningham Falls now for about 2 years. She’s likes it in this quaint town, teaches yoga classes, and just feels comfortable here. When out on a hike, she finds an injured eagle, she calls Spread Your Wings, run by Noah King, when he shows up to take the injured eagle, Fallon see’s how hot he is!
One thing leads to another with these two, that throws them together, and they begin a hot, yet adorable relationship!
I loved this story, Kristen is an amazing author, each of her stories get better and better! 5 shooting stars for this one! Grab it asap!
5 ‘I Found My Place, and I Found My Person’ Stars
WOW, just WOW! Soaring With Fallon’s uncomplicated and ‘real life’ like, emotionally charged and passionately enrapturing love story transformed this already fantastic small town romance that I loved, in not only my favorite installment of the spin off series, but one of my all time favorite small town romances. Noah and Fallon were extraordinary characters, complex yet so relatable, and all the cameos from the previous books just made this book PERFECT! <3 <3 <3 <3
3.75 stars–SOARING WITH FALLON is the fourth instalment in Kristen Proby’s contemporary, adult BIG SKY erotic, romance series focusing on the men and women of Cunningham Fall, Montana. This is zoologist Noah King, and yoga instructor Fallon McCarthy’s story line. SOARING WITH FALLON can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.
NOTE: SOARING WITH FALLON is part of Kristen Proby’s multi-authored BIG SKY cross over series.
Told from dual third person perspectives (Fallon and Noah) SOARING WITH FALLON follows the building relationship between zoologist Noah King, and yoga instructor Fallon McCarthy. Noah King owns and operates a sanctuary for injured birds. When a call comes in about a injured bald eagle, Noah will come face to face with his future-Fallon McCarthy-and the woman with whom Noah will fall in love. A flooded apartment, a leaky pipe and a terrifying car accident will find Fallon taking refuge of her own with our story line hero. What ensues is the building relationship and romance between Fallon and Noah, as our couple must come to terms with the present and the future.
Fallon McCarthy doesn’t do relationships and struggles with her attraction to Noah King. Never one to settle down, Fallon moves from town to town but finds herself falling in love with Cunningham Falls, and the man that calls to her heart.
The relationship between Noah and Fallon is one of instant attraction but a series of events finds our heroine living in Noah’s guest suite where nature and the palpable sexual attraction grow with each encounter. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
For fans of the BIG SKY series, most of the previous story line couples play secondary and supporting roles. We are introduced to Fallon’s friend from Chicago Claire, as well as her mother Lacey McCarthy
SOARING WITH FALLON is a story of family, friendships, letting go and falling in love. The premise is engaging and entertaining; the characters are colorful and energetic; the romance is passionate. The story line conflict is limited to issues of jealousy, and Fallon’s struggle to remain independent.
4 Stars
Fallon McCarthy and Noah King’s story takes readers back to Cunningham Falls.
Although Soaring With Fallon is the fourth title in the Big Sky series, it can easily be read as a standalone.
If you’re looking for a sweet, steamy and well paced story that is low in angst and drama I highly recommend this title.
Fallon is a bit of a loner, an introvert who isolates herself and a wandering soul. When she lands in Cunningham Falls, she expects it to only be a short stopover, but in this community she finds friends, family and connections. She’s may be strong, sweet and caring, but always felt that she was a burden to those she cared for most, and struggles to believe that she’s wanted or needed.
Noah is the owner of the spread your wings sanctuary. He grew up in Cunningham Falls, and has strong ties to the community, and has a huge loving family. Depsite the fact that he’s very honest, blunt and not afraid to speak his mind, he’s a nice guy with a big heart.
The connection this pair shares is instantaneous yet written in a way that is completely believable.
I will be looking forward to reading more of the characters of Cunningham Falls.
(Big Sky #4 – KP’s Crossover Collection #1)
It’s always a pleasure to return to Cunningham Falls, and this time we will get to know the life and love story of Fallon and Noah.
Fallon is a wanderer.
Since her grandmother died six years ago, she abandoned her successful but unhappy life in Chicago and spent and lived in each city for a short time.
Until two years ago she arrived in Cunningham Falls, Montana, started giving yoga classes and fell in love with the place.
Friendships have been emerging gradually – Fallon is an introverted person and feels drained of energy when close to many people. She does not mind spending time alone.
On a day when she was hiking, she encounters an eagle injured, so she calls Spread your Wings (Isn’t the name of this sanctuary beautiful? It always makes me smile when I read about it!) And Noah came to her aid to get the injured bird.
Noah King was pleased with his Bachelor life.
His brother Grayson was engaged to Autumn, his parents had fled the winter of Montana to Arizona, and Noah had bought their house and used part of the property to build his sanctuary where he took care of birds of prey.
He had already met Fallon a few times around town, but this was the perfect opportunity to finally invite her to a date.
The connection between them is wonderful and everything seems to go well.
But there was always the fear of when Fallon would finally see that it was time to leave for good. And when she gets a visit from a friend of her time in Chicago, that fear in Noah gets bigger.
Was Fallon thinking that what he felt for her was just a Summer love?
A romance filled with happy couples, fears being won, loved jobs and the desire to take the first plane to meet Montana.
I confess I wasn’t thinking to read the rest of the collection, but now I’m really curious to know the other characters.
5 stars
I’m all about sweet reads lately, and Fallon and Noah’s story falls perfectly into this category, giving readers all the feels as well as a lesson or two about what it means to fly high and soar. And I think that’s what I loved most about Soaring with Fallon – the idea that there are multiple interpretations of what it means to reach new heights, both in life and in love…both professionally and personally, and let me tell you, the way that Fallon and Noah help each other to accomplish things they never imagined they would want to or would be able to is what solidified the bond between them and allowed them to take chances, embracing their respective journeys and the one they had just started to experience with each other.
I’m a big fan of enchanting small town settings, and Proby’s Cunningham Falls community is cozy and quaint as well as beautiful and majestic due to the scenery around it, making it the perfect place to fall in love and perhaps even somewhere to finally feel at home as long as there are still opportunities to spread one’s wing and soar.
4.5 Poison Apples
Loved it!
Soaring with Fallon by Kristen Proby was such a nice surprise. It was sweet and charming and had very low angst. Fallon had life figured out, or at least thought she did until she lost her grandmother. Now she is just living life as she wants with no ties and moving on when the needs strikes. But when she finds herself in Cunningham Falls, things begin to change in a very big way!
When Noah meets Fallon, the sparks fly off the pages. Their connection was instant, and you could not help but cheer them on. Their journey was so freaking delightful. I loved how strong Fallon was and her laid-back outlook and Noah was so caring and devoted. A great read for new and old readers of Kristen Proby.
Read and reviewed for Sultry Sirens Book Blog.
Happy reading!
Really good read !!!
I received an ARC for an honest opinion. What a sweet romance! Noah & Fallon are just so tender, honest, and down to earth with each other. This story takes us back to Cunningham Falls where we feel like part of the town. Noah & Fallon’s story is warm and tender. Kristen Proby always makes her readers connect with the characters as if they were part of the family. It was an enjoyable read and I would highly recommend this series and author.
I’m so excited that Fallon and Noah’s story is finally here! After living in her own isolation for several years, Fallon needs help. The best choice is Noah King. Seamlessly, these two characters blend together; shoring up each other’s weaknesses and supporting their strengths.
I love the way Kristen Proby builds her characters to be complicated and sweet; the people you want to be friends with in the town you want to live in.
Now, onto the rest of the crossover books!
Well written by Kristen Proby. Fallon and Noah story was an easy read. Fallon not taken life for granted and starts knocking what’s worth living off her bucket list. Noah a wild rescue that meets Fallon and has excellent chemistry from the beginning. Love been so good. A must read..
This book is part of the Kristen Proby Crossover Collection with Big Sky. I have read all the other Big Sky books and I was very happy to re-visit Cunningham Falls. I’m a big fan of Kristen Proby (hello, With me in Seattle series) and I love Noah’s character. I don’t think I’ve ever read a zoologist/bird rescuer for a hero, but wow, something swoony about a big strong man taking care of poor helpless birds. I was glad that Fallon met her match with this guy, she was flighty from the start (no pun intended) but definitely got her happy ending.

My love for Kristen Proby’s writing is no secret. For me she’s the queen of the HEA. Soaring With Fallon is no different. I was captivated every moment of the book. Authors use cute animals in books all the time, but I never would have expected to fall in love with an eagle. The way Noah’s job was woven into the story was absolutely brilliant!
