Part of Intergalactic Dating Agency books. Fun alien love!
Sweet, sexy, and funny…don’t miss book 1 of this brand new series!
Quirky title to go with a funny and romantic story. This is a standalone romance and so much more. It is best to read the entire series (beloved characters, rich in detail, make the story so much better). In this first book, a TV star stumbles into a chance to marry a alien. A fun book with elements of romance/steam and hints of upcoming books. Bravo!
I received a free copy of this book via BookFunnel and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A fast paced, enjoyable and engaging read
This was a thoroughly enjoyable read that I enjoyed from start to finish, it was extremely well written with each of the characters having a wonderful background. The plot was simply wonderful and the way in which the storyline plot was written ensured that from the time I started the book I was unable to put it down.
I read it one sitting and had a long, late but very enjoyable night of reading.
Margot is an actress that has been sent to a special camp to lose weight unfortunately her will power is a little short and she has a yearning for particular foods, she is also rather adept at sneaking out of the camp without anyone noticing.
The prize for doing well and losing the most weight is to marry an alien, who would have thought that when she sneaked out she would find him at the gas station she decided to visit for her illicit snack.
Boy oh boy!! She is totally blown away by the very attractive hunk and when she realises, he is the same alien she once saw at the gas station, that had helped her when she’d needed assistance.
Kent is a bachelor and is surprised when he is on the show and discovers that the woman, he helped at the gas station is in the competition to win a mate, will she be able to stick to the restrictions put in place now?
He already knows that she has broken out of the camp al least once, will she have the will power, the determination and the will to win.
He can only hope and wait and see what the eventual outcome will be!
This is a very enjoyable read the characters and plot are great, there is action, laughter and a certain amount of naughty behaviour as well, everything you would expect from these wonderful authors books.
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing
This is the first book in the Stargazer Alien Reality Show Brides Series. I love Tasha Black’s writing. Margot and Kent’s story is fun, entertaining, and sweet. Margot is a beautiful curvy woman. Kent is handsome and caring. The secondary characters (Ruby, Olivia, Parker and Wayne) are great, and intriguing. I like the brotherhood between Kent, Parker and Wayne. Mason Lloyd did a great job with the narration, as always! I like these Series with intertwined characters. Looking forward to listen to the next book in the Series, My Big Fat Alien Wedding, Parker and Ruby’s story.
As Ms Black’s books go, this one should also get more than five stars. Oh yes!!!! I feel so limited. Well let me tell you why I think so, then you can agree with me. This is the first in her new Stargazer Pennsylvania series.
The three alien hunks Kent the Star of the reality show about marrying an Alien, along with his brothers take us along on the wonderful ride of honorable men, who are totally drool worthy.
Margot is our star in more ways than one. She is the star of, A Lion’s Gate, as Queen Esther. She was told to loose 25 pounds or her character would die. She was shipped off to, A Slender Start, fat camp. She ran away and found her self under an assumed name on the Alien Marriage show.
Ruby is her roommate on the Alien show and soon to be best friend.
All the women come together in the first day for auditions. Kent is watching so he can have input on who he wants on the show, because he is going to wed the winner. When Margot gets up for her interview he feels confused. All she does is lie, but he is drawn to her.
Don’t miss the romance as it unfolds even threw the lies, or does it? Will this be the first Ms. Black book where the Alien can’t get around the lies? Will our Alien, Kent, marry the wrong Earth woman? You get the best fun of all reading to find out.
Stargazer’s aliens are still looking to click
The Intergalactic Dating Agency’s premier franchise is still going strong in Stargazer, PA. The newest iteration is a reality show riff, wherein the alien-savvy human women can catch the hunk of their dreams in a “Bachelor” type TV show. This story’s alien bachelor from Aerie is Kent – a hunk of hotness with the sweet and affable temperament these guys are known for. Too bad TV’s starring actress, Margo Lane, didn’t sign up for that show. When her series renewal is made contingent on a successful fat camp stint, she swallows the insult and does the diet-and-drill thing until she can’t stand t anymore. She breaks out, and ends up being assisted by Kent, and hiding out in his reality show. Cue the clever and slightly snarky send-up of reality TV, as author Tasha Black skewers manufactured and manipulated reality shows, the body-shaming entertanment industry, and all things fake and false. Wickedly tongue-in-cheek, flawlessly plotted and sweetly sexy, this is all about the REAL DEAL – true love and HEA.
I love the Alien books. Make me want to reach for the stars and beyond.

••••••••••••••
Definitely the beginning of an epic series.
Margot Lane has it all fame and riches.
She is the bloodthirsty and protective Queen Esther of A Lion’s Game. Unfortunately her producer her size 10 is not a slim enough for her role-play as the queen. So to the fat farm she went this resort was called “A Slender Start” bear the town of Stargazer, Pennsylvania. Escaping the Fat farm she finds herself in a reality show and Aliens.
Kent, Wayne and Parker were brothers, whose bodies were lab-designed to be big, strong and attractive plus each brother had a special gift that the scientist had designed for them, Kent’s was that he could sense a lie, red mist hung around the person. They came to Earth from there Planet Aerie so they could find mates. So far Kent was almost positive he found his mate.
This review is my own opinion, this author is one that I love to read her books, she is witty and makes me laugh. Lord know we all need to be happy! Thanks to Ms. Black I am for a few hours.
Sometimes jumping “from the frying pan into the fire” can be the best decision ever, if you can take the alien heat. I love everything about this book. It has the perfect balance of chemistry, drama, humor and even a bit of reality. Margot is so compassionate, a little stubborn and feisty, great combination so, watch out! I don’t even watch reality shows but this stargazer kept me glued to the pages. Kent is sexy and of course special but even through all the cloudiness, he can still find his mate. Love this series, not only because of their attractiveness but these aliens are always so focused and patient with their clickette, lol. Such a great series that never disappoints and always gives the warm glow/feelings of love and wishful thinking of signing-up to be the next match in line. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation from the author.
When producers send reality show star Margot Lane to a health spa to lose a few pounds, she’s supposed to lay low and keep it a secret. But when she busts out of fat camp, she accidentally ends up in ANOTHER reality show, So You Think You Can Marry an Alien. It’s not a good place to hide out when you’re on the lam–especially when you’ve developed a strong attraction to the star of the show, Kent, the alien. He needs to “click” with his soulmate, and Margot seems to be the one for him. So You Think You Can Marry An Alien was a fast paced, charming read. At times, laugh-aloud funny. Nice twists and turns. Great HEA.
Margo was tired of being told she was too fat! She’s a fit size ten and she’s not staying at the fat farm aka prison a minute longer. She’ll accept the consequences.
Escape brought her to the most gorgeous man she’d ever met. Then again fate brought them together on a reality show where she was trying to keep her identity as an actress secret. Kent knew she was for him but the truth was really important to him. Can these two find a way to get past the secrets?
The emotional and physical feelings are there. They are so cute and such a good pair. Can’t wait to read about Kent’s brothers.
I couldn’t put this book down. One mistake of identity and Margot finds herself on a reality show. She meets Kent and sparks fly. But Kent knows she hiding something and he wants to know what it is. This book is filled with humour and so much sexiness. I just love all the characters. I can’t wait for the wedding.
Margot has her dream job of being an actress. The studio is being stupid. They want her to lose weight to keep her job. Margot comes to her senses and escapes. In escaping, she meets Kent and a series of situations present themselves. In these situations, reality and fantasy collide. Follow along as Kent tries to decipher how people communicate on Earth. I can’t wait for the brothers books.
Are you ready for another page-turner? “So You Think You Can Marry an Alien” is the first fantastic must read in the new spin-off, Stargazer Alien Reality Show Brides that grabbed me from the get-go! Another fun, romantic, fresh story with characters that practically jump right off the pages! The H/h’s in each of these books are relatable, with a sweet, sexy alien and a feisty take-charge woman 😉 Witty dialogue & the ever present amazing attention to detail with surprises are always a given in this author’s works! Even tho I volunteer to read her books in advance, it is without any outside influences, and I’ve already preordered my own kindle book to keep forever in my favorites folder! So yes, I can honestly recommend this & any book by Tasha Black, to adult fans of fiction and I can’t wait for more!
