There’s no place like Haven Point for the holidays, where the snow conspires to bring two wary hearts together for a Christmas to remember It’s been two rough years since Andrea Montgomery lost her husband, and all she wants is for her children to enjoy their first Christmas in Haven Point. But then Andie’s friend asks a favor–to keep an eye on her brother, Sheriff Marshall Bailey, who’s … Bailey, who’s recovering from a hit and run. Andie will do anything for Wyn, even park her own misgivings to check on her grouchy, wounded bear of a brother. Marshall hates feeling defenseless and resents the protective impulses that Andie brings out in him. But when a blizzard forces them together for the holidays, something in Marshall begins to thaw. Andie’s gentle nature is a salve, and her kids’ excitement for the holidays makes him forget why he never wanted a family. If only he and Andie can admit what they really want–each other–their Christmas wishes might come true after all.

I honestly didn’t expect this book to be much more than a run of the mill romance but got it just something fun to read. It was so much less than average. There is constant whining from both the hero/heroine about how they can’t get involved, they aren’t good enough for each other, blah, blah, blah. The mystery part of the story could have been really good, but it was treated as nothing more than a back story because so much times was spent on the whining. Just truly not worth the effort.
I really enjoyed the two small children in this book. Also liked the way the sheriff interacted with them. Heartwarming.
Cute romance. Relaxing read for a Sunday afternoon.
Another good book from this author.
Very good book. Hardly could put it down.
I love this series! Wonderful characters! I will be wanting more from this author!
a bit disappointing. Not much romance, they seemed to instantly have the hots for each other and kept avoiding each other for stupid reasons. An ok read.
Good story line. I love reading books that have a common ongoing theme; same town, repeat of characters interwoven in other books.
I would recommend this book and author.
