Olivia Wickham could never forget the cowboy she met on a cruise five years ago. The two spent a magical few days together before she was called home for an emergency, without giving him her number. She would have gotten over Tate McConnell—it was just a few nights of paradise, after all—if it wasn’t for two little things: her twin daughters, who were born as a result of those wonderful days. … Though she searched for her lost romance in vain, she never forgot his mesmerizing eyes, and the way his smile made her melt inside.
On a trip to the wilderness just before Christmas, things take a scary turn when one of her daughters is injured on a snowshoeing tour and the little family is unknowingly left behind by the guide. When Tate shows up to save them, she instantly knows who he is—the father of her children, and possibly the love of her life.
Surprised is a mild term for what Tate feels when he realizes the woman he’s been sent to rescue is Olivia. He’d searched for her over the years, her smile and laugh invading his thoughts on lonely nights. When he learns the two little girls with Olivia are his, surprise makes way for shock. Now, with a major snowstorm coming their way, Tate has to quickly get them to safety inside a cozy little cabin in the woods. Maybe too cozy, since Tate is adjusting to being a father and trying to fight his fierce attraction to Olivia. But since they’re snowbound, there’s nothing to be done but to let his feelings thaw a bit. Or a lot, since they can’t seem to keep their hands off each other every chance they have to be alone. When reality intrudes, though, real panic sets in for Tate. He’s been alone too long to suddenly be a big family man, even if it is Christmas time.
But when Tate finds himself alone on Christmas Day, he realizes being alone is, well, lonely. He can only hope he’s not too late to create his own Christmas magic.
Mary Sue Jackson and USA Today Bestseller Leslie North invite you to indulge in a heart-warming small-town western romance with a smoking hot cowboy and the woman who tames him…

The majority of this story was enjoyable. There were a few items I had small problems with, the most glaring one is safe sex. The story is a quick, light read. Grab an adult beverage and enjoy.
Olivia and Tae meet on a cruise and have an amazing connection. However and family emergency has her leaving and forgetting to exchange info with Tate before she leaves. Weeks later after she buries her parents she learns that she is pregnant and has no way to find Tate. Now years later she and her twin daughters have moved to Montana for her new job and she hope to find Tate. The were on a little snowshoe tour when they get lost when one of her daughters gets hurt. Imagine her surprise when its Tate that turns up to rescue them. Tate is stunned when he sees Olivia again. He is even more shocked when she tells him that her daughters are his. Can they be a family when they didn’t know each other very well?
This is a great story that will draw you in from the first chapter on. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

While the book was somehow a Christmas story and the book is well written, what bothered me here was the characters. Mainly, the heroine.
I’m probably spoiling a book (but hey, the blurb tells the whole story so I can’t really spoil much, right?) but Olivia expected too much from Tate. The man learned he was a father in a day or two after they (including children) first saw each other after years and already Olivia expects a family, a husband. I can’t imagine what was she going through, raising twins all on her own for almost five years, but I think it’s illogical to expect so much after a day they reunited. If she wasn’t expecting a fantasy, this book could turn out so different. It took her almost the whole book to realize she was irrational. No kidding, he was living on his own all that time, not knowing he was a father.
The second, very important part for me, that really bothered me (even more than the heroine) was the way we are told of important moments. For example, when Tate told his parents he has twins, we are not told the emotions of that moment. Was he nervous, were they shocked when they found out, first reactions? No. Instead the author cut this moment with ”Five minutes later the grandparents…”. We literally jump from Tate signing on Skype to ten minutes later when the grandparents found out. The exact same thing happen when they told the twins he was their father. Do we see the excitement, first reaction when they realize their father is in front of them? No, we are told how one of them asked how the babies were made. The twins were without a father for all this time and yet, it’s a moment that makes it as important as describing pouring milk into a mug. This IS an important moment but the author didn’t make it one which is why the story lost its charm for me. And the last situation was when the grandparents came to visit. We don’t get to see how they reacted when they first saw their grandchildren, no, the author jump from them coming to the house to the twins already sitting on their laps. It’s the first moments that would make this story a feel-good Christmas romance about family, love, reuniting, rekindling their love, it’s the first moment that counts in a story like this. Instead, for me, this was just a mediocre, 3 stars book.

Fantastic Story!
I thought this was a very interesting and well written story. I liked how Olivia was a good counterpart to Tate’s more reserved personality. I definitely recommend this book.

Snowed in With the Rancher is a great second chance romance/unintentional secret baby. A surprise meeting on a cruise ship leads to lots of passion then they get separated till they bump into one another years later. I am voluntarily leaving my honest review after reading this arc.
Action packed, sexy, fun, highly entertaining and engaging adventure filled with exciting charters, witty dialog, fun twists and thrilling passion……. was a great read from beginning to end. Really enjoyed this journey!
Great story.
This is a wonderful story that had me drawn in from the start. I loved the characters who had tried to find each other after the cruise which Olivia found she was pregnant. They meet up by chance after finding her again & Tate seeing he is the father to her twin girls it has you hoping for a second chance for a happy ever after which keeps you hooked until the end.

This situation stole my heart. Love the precious girl twins. I just didn’t quite get what Tate’s problem was. It ended up being really worth the wait. Love the epilogue. I really loved Tate’s dad and step mother. I love the small town feel.
This is a new to me author and I was very surprised when reading that the flow is excellent for me to read – did not want to put it down and usually the surprise baby is not my thing – but I do love a good second chance story!

They met briefly on a cruise five years prior and she had to get off early after learning her parents had been killed in an accident. They didn’t have last names and she ended up having a twins. Now she is in the same state he is from starting a new job. He rescues her from a ravine with a full on snow storm in the works and has to take them back to his place. They recognize each other. She eventually tells them the girls are his and what happened. He has a lot of issues he also has to work out that has nothing to do with them, but affects his relationship. They are still very attracted to each other and the story is great with how they deal with their trust issues. A very good book.

Tate was given a cruise by his father and step mother as he never took time for himself. Olivia goes on an adventure every year by herself. They meet on the cruise and hit it off. Olivia leaves the cruise unexpectedly due to a family emergency. They never told each other their last names so could not get in touch. Olivia left the cruise with a few surprise gifts. 4 years later while vacationing in Montana before Olivia starts her new job , her and the girls have an accident and who but Tate rescues them. He is given a shock of a lifetime when he finds out he has twin daughters. Can Olivia and Tate work things out? Will he accept the responsibility or turn them away? Can he be the man Olivia needs and the father the girls deserve? HEA, with lots of bumps along the way. Great characters that interact well.

The story of Olivia and Tate is a heartwarming romance with depth. I cried when Tate couldn’t deal with the sudden life changes and was overwhelmed by people’s expectations of him. Olivia is a brave, admirable female lead. It was wonderful to see them finding their way back together.

Olivia Wickham and Tate McConnell met five years ago on a cruise and spent several magical days and nights together before Olivia was called home because of a family emergency. Olivia left without leaving word for Tate, and Tate is hurt and goes home and throws himself into working the family ranch. Olivia is surprised when she learns she is pregnant and searches for Tate but has no luck in finding him. On a snowshoeing trip, one of Olivia’s daughters is injured, and the family is unwittingly left behind. Tate is surprised when he sees that it is Olivia and her two daughters he is sent to rescue. Tate is even more shocked to learn that Olivia’s twin daughters are his daughters. Is Tate ready for marriage and parenthood? Can Tate be the man Olivia and his daughters need? Can Olivia be patient with Tate while he processes all the changes to his life? Can Tate overcome is childhood issues before he loses Olivia forever? I really enjoyed Snowed in with the Rancher by Mary Sue Jackson. Snowed in with the Rancher is a great story about love and family. I would definitely recommend getting Snowed in with the Rancher by Mary Sue Jackson.

A great second chance romance. Tate and Olivia met on a cruise and had some great chemistry but Olivia had to leave unexpectedly for a family emergency before they could exchange information. Fast forward a few years and they meet again. A story line with twists and turns that hold the reader’s attention and wonderful characters you’ll fall in love with.

I have a fondness for Mary Sue Jackson books, they are well written, smooth reads. She also does a great job with the small town, rancher/farmer feel. This is probably one of my favorites of her books as it hits my love for secret babies. Olivia & Tate meet on a cruise and due to circumstances don’t exchange contact info. She is pregnant with twins and can’t find baby daddy. Years later out with her girls there is a small accident and Tate is their rescue only to discover the woman he’s never been able to find, and twins he didn’t know he had.
I started this book and could not stop reading until the end. Wonderful story of love, family and twins.

Tate and Oliva meet on a cruise but she has to leave early without explanation. Then they reconnect 5 years later and she has a surprise for him, he is blown away and unsure of himself and the situation. He has a hard time overcoming the thoughts that have built up in his mind about how he is as a person, what he deserves and what he can handle. He is stubborn and has a hard time overcoming his own insecurities. The underlying story was exceptional. The characters, main and secondary, are all well developed and completely believable and fun and realistic. The writing is exceptional. The pace is good. The setting is wonderful The interactions between the characters is well thought out and meaningful with great dialogue. The chemistry between the main characters is sweet and hot and full of feeling.
