Olivia Wickham could never forget the cowboy she met on a cruise five years ago. The two spent a magical few days together before she was called home for an emergency, without giving him her number. She would have gotten over Tate McConnell—it was just a few nights of paradise, after all—if it wasn’t for two little things: her twin daughters, who were born as a result of those wonderful days. … Though she searched for her lost romance in vain, she never forgot his mesmerizing eyes, and the way his smile made her melt inside.
On a trip to the wilderness just before Christmas, things take a scary turn when one of her daughters is injured on a snowshoeing tour and the little family is unknowingly left behind by the guide. When Tate shows up to save them, she instantly knows who he is—the father of her children, and possibly the love of her life.
Surprised is a mild term for what Tate feels when he realizes the woman he’s been sent to rescue is Olivia. He’d searched for her over the years, her smile and laugh invading his thoughts on lonely nights. When he learns the two little girls with Olivia are his, surprise makes way for shock. Now, with a major snowstorm coming their way, Tate has to quickly get them to safety inside a cozy little cabin in the woods. Maybe too cozy, since Tate is adjusting to being a father and trying to fight his fierce attraction to Olivia. But since they’re snowbound, there’s nothing to be done but to let his feelings thaw a bit. Or a lot, since they can’t seem to keep their hands off each other every chance they have to be alone. When reality intrudes, though, real panic sets in for Tate. He’s been alone too long to suddenly be a big family man, even if it is Christmas time.
But when Tate finds himself alone on Christmas Day, he realizes being alone is, well, lonely. He can only hope he’s not too late to create his own Christmas magic.

A second chance romance with tons of angst and twins!
Olivia met and fell in love with, Tate on a cruise. But when she gets some tragic news from home, she leaves without exchanging information or last names. Five years later, she’s moving on with her life and her girls to a new job in Montana. Tate is sent on a rescue mission he discovers the one woman he fell in love with but who left him without even a note, and her daughters. When a nasty winter storm moves and strands Olivia and the girls at Tate’s home, she finally gets her nerve up and tells him he’s a father. But Tate has been a loner most of his life and doesn’t see how he can fit into his new family. Now they have to adjust to their “new normal”.
This is one emotional romance that will have you giggling and crying. You will need a few tissues to get through it but it is so worth it! I loved this one!

Snowed in with the Rancher by Mary Sue Jackson. This is Tate and Olivia story. I really enjoyed this story. It was so realistic to me. Tate and Olivia met on the ship, they had a hot affair. Olivia had a family emergency and left the ship early without saying goodbye to Tate. He was left wondering what happen to her. Fast forward a few years Olivia had found herself pregnant with twin girls for a man that she only knew his first name and where he was from. Now she and the girls have moved to where he might live. Olivia and the girls are now lost in the mountain and guess who rescued them none other than Tate. Once they see each ot GB er again the attraction flares to life again hot and heavy. But both of them is scared. Once Tate finds out he’s a father, something he never wanted. He has to adjust but he is a natural protector but needs to slow it down until tradegy hits. Is it too late to get his family back. Read and see.

Sweet and stubborn
Snowed In With The Rancher by Mary Sue Jackson is well written romance that really pulled my heartstrings. Between the second chance and the holiday setting, as well as the wonderful characters, this book is a great Christmas read.
Tate is a true sweetheart, alpha cowboy that is so confused and set on believing he’s incapable of being a husband and father. Olivia is a relieved single mom who realizes that maybe she’s been a little unrealistic about her expectations. Even after five years, the fires burn strong between the two, creating complications. Add in the adorable twins and it’s a really great story.
Overall, a well written book with plenty of heat, holiday heart and a really happy HEA.
I read an ARC of this book from Hidden Gems and voluntarily share my review.
I really enjoyed this delightful story about two strangers who met on a cruise, were separated by life events, but are reunited five years later. Olivia Wickham met Tate McConnell on the cruise and after a wonderful five days, a family emergency calls her home. She never got a chance to say goodbye and had no way to find him. Five years later, Olivia has accepted a job in Montana and during a tour she and her twin girls get separated from the group, and are rescued by Tate. Is fate giving them a second chance? I liked the fact that she did not try to hide the past five years from him, but gave him time to accept their new situation. A very heartwarming story for the holidays or anytime. A grand second-chance romance.
What a great read for a thanksgiving day read! It was quick with a great pace and beautifully written. This is not a boy meets girl kind of sweet romance. No, this one is supercharged right from the beginning. Olivia and Tate meet, have fun and lose touch, then just to be back into each other lives with some major twists occurring year later. I loved Lucy and Thomas! Oh, the epilogue was priceless! I highly recommend this holiday goodie.
This was an excellent story with lots of twists and turns. Olivia and Tate me five years ago on a cruise and hit it off. But when she left suddenly without telling him he felt abandoned again. So five years late she shows up in his hometown for a new job and sees him again when he rescues her and her twin daughters (his). Things are rocky cause he freaks out and is trying to adjust. He felt abandoned when his mom died from cancer and he didn’t want in that situation again. but the girls are something else and he has a hard time sitting on the sidelines. There is a lot of heat, hurt, danger and love. HEA
ONE INCREDIBLY WILD RIDE!!!
Dazzling! This dynamic duo rocks the boat and stirs one chaotic mix that’s as thrilling as it riveting with all the mishaps and mayhem blasting this baby to life flawlessly. Mastering the ups and downs, weaving a cocoon so intricately and tight, draws you deeper into this tangled web until everything else ceases to exist. Pushing on-ward, hurdling the trials and tribulations, along with a slew of plot twists and sharp turns fuses this baby together sleek, shiny and tight. The chemistry is hot, intense, sizzling and explosive. The characters are authentic and realistic with depth and qualities that blend and flow. The scenes are so vividly detailed it gives the illusion you were right there with them instead of on the sidelines. Remarkable job guys, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.
Snowed in With the Rancher by Mary Sue Jackson is a second chance romance featuring Olivia Wickham and Tate McConnell. Tate has never forgotten the woman he met on a cruise five years ago…the one that left the ship the next morning and never told him she was going. He didn’t know her last name, which made finding her difficult. Olivia has gotten the news that her parents had been killed in an accident. All she could think of was getting home. She thought about Tate, even tried to look for him but all she new about home was that he was a rancher in Montana. Even when she found out she was pregnant, there was nothing she could do. Now, four years later, a single mom to twins, she has accepted a job in Montana, thinking she would at least be close to him, even not knowing where he was excactly. Tate lived a lonely and solitary life and he liked it that way. He had given up on love after Olivia. Now, sitting in his house, his phone rang. It was the search and rescue and a mom and her child were stranded out here, fairly close to his house. He accepted the assignment and gathered his things to go help.
Like all Jackson’s books, this one is unlikely but fun. She writes a good romance with realistic human emotions. Her characters are not perfect, far from it, but like people everywhere, they muddle through, find love and live their lives. Olivia is a dreamer. All she sees are happily-ever-afters, despite what life has proven to her. Tate is the opposite. He is a gloom and doom guy, determined to be alone, believing he doesn’t have it in him to be a good partner. He parents and his friends see him differently and try to push him, but he is stubborn. They are both very realistic characters caught in an unbelievable situation and they both struggle to make it work for themselves. It is a compelling novel, one you won’t want to miss. I recommend it.
I received a free ARC from the author. All opinions and interpretations are solely my own.
This wonderful read delivers a entertaining combination of sweet romance and holiday charm. Tate and Olivia’s story is cute, fun and emotional. Great chemistry, a moving storyline, lovable characters, a helping hand from fate and a healthy sprinkling of Christmas magic create a delightful, heart warming book that should not be missed.
Another great book by Me Jackson. This book grabbed me from the start and I could not put it down until I finished it. I stayed up all night to do just that. I would recommend this book.
This book was so good I lost sleep because I didn’t want to put it down until I finished it. I loved Tate and Olivia and their story. I look forward to more books by this author.
I have so far never been disappointed by a story associated with Leslie North and this one is no different. Olivia and Tate get a wonderful second opportunity to fall in love and raise a family. Bolstered by a small town community and wonderful friends and family. This story will make you laugh and bring tears to your eyes as you ride the roller coaster that makes it such a perfectly Romantic story. I just adored the characters and the feeling of love that is evident throughout the book.
I would give this book 3.5 stars. It is a sweet, second chance romance. I guess you can call it a second chance since Tate and Olivia met previously.
There was a lot of adjustment with attitudes and emotions going on in this book. Understandably so, with learning you have not one, but, two 4 year old daughters. There was as much adjustment happening on Olivia and the girls side.
It did take Tate a while to pull his head out of his…out of the sand, and man up to the situation. I liked the girls and the grandparents the most. An enjoyable read that moves along pretty quickly, but keeps you engaged from start to finish.
I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy received via Hidden Gems.

Tate and Olivia get to know each other during a cruise and immediately have a click. When Olivia is home, she realizes that she has never asked for Tate’s last name and cannot tell him she is pregnant. Two beautiful daughters that she will have to raise alone. When Tate returns to her life through a miracle, she expects that everything will be like the days she fell in love with him and that he would include her and his 2 daughters in his life. How different is reality?
Tate doesn’t dare let anyone come close, afraid he will lose what he has. But when he almost loses Olivia and his daughters, he realizes what he really wants.
Beautifully described story where expectations do not match. Nice to read how Olivia realizes that her expectations are not realistic. After all, Tate didn’t know anything about his daughters and is used to trusting only himself. His fight to be what Olivia needs comes across well. Even though he loves Olivia, he cannot surrender himself and thinks he is not worthy of her. He does want to be a father for his twin daughters and builds a relationship with them. When he is consumed by jealousy, he realizes that he wants to keep Olivia and his children close and does everything to win (back) the love of Olivia

This was a phenomenally well written second chance romance about overcoming self doubt, insecurities, and finding strength in family. Olivia is a single mom who decides to give her daughters a wilderness adventure for Christmas that turns problematic. Tate is a rancher who is sent to find and rescue Olivia from a snowstorm. When the couple is reunited and a secret is revealed, will they be able to find their happily ever after? Snowed in With the Rancher is a captivating and beautifully well written must read with wonderful characters readers will fall in love with. I couldn’t put this new book from Mary Sue Jackson down. I absolutely loved this book.

He saves not only the woman he was searching for but also twin bonuses!!!
Snowed in with the Rancher is a second chance romance story between Olivia and Tate. They first met while on a cruise and were inseparable. But she had to leave suddenly without them exchanging last names and phone numbers. They never did forget each other and now several years later they encounter each other again. Tate has been sent to locate and bring to safety a woman and her children who were left behind on a guided outing with a snow storm coming quickly. What Tate did not expect was the woman would be Olivia and that she would have twin daughters who end up being his. Tate was the last person Olivia expected to ever see again so when he swoops in and gets them out of the storm and into the safety of a cabin she is surprised to say the least. But now what happens once Tate knows the girls are his? Will he want to be with Olivia which also means being a father? Or will he decide he likes his life as it is and turn the other way?
This story was nicely written and the characters were interesting, even when I wanted to smack Tate he was still a sexy hunk. There was a little something missing for me with the story. I am not sure what it was but I would have liked a bit more “ooomph and heat” to it. But that is only my thought. It was still a good read and I enjoyed it.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Extremely entertaining, captivating and interesting sexy read. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong, intriguing characters. I want to read more from this author.

Spolier alert:
Olivia, annually, took a vacation on her own. Tate got a cruise vacation from his dad. On the first day of the cruise, after boarding the ship, Tate and Olivia met and the chemistry was electric. They spent the next few days together experiencing new adventures and each other. Then, partway through the cruise, Olivia was gone. They never exchanged phone numbers or even their last names as they both thought they had more time together. Tate knew Olivia lived in Washington state and Olivia knew Tate lived on his family ranch in Montana. They tried to find each other but the cruise line would share no information.
5 years later, Olivia has moved to Montana for work and she and her twin daughters and while on an excursion, gets separated from the rest of the excursion party. When a call goes out for the search and rescue team to find a woman and her children, Tate is right there and when he and his dog, Lobster, find the lost parties, he is shocked to look down the hill and see no one but Olivia. Olivia can not believe that she is being rescued by the one man she has never forgotten.
Olivia has spent the last 5 years raising her daughters and Tate has withdrawn into himself. Everyone he loves leaves him, his mom died when he was young, Olivia left without a word, his father almost died from a heart attack. He has resigned himself to a solitary life, him and Lobster. When Olivia tells Tate that the twins are his, he pulls away from her, even though their chemistry is still strong, he is not the kind of man that will make Olivia happy, he is not father material.
Can these two find away to love or will Tate sit back and watch Olivia find love with one of the many bachelors looking for love in remote Montana?
