Six lonely hearts, five days and a whole lot of mistletoe.Christmas, a time when dreams come true, finds six lonely singles tricked into spending the holiday in a romantic cabin in the heart of Washington’s snowy Snoqualmie Pass.Dr. Will Colson, an ornery, overworked ER doctor, longs to get away and ignore the holiday, and Amber Roth, a feisty contractor with a chip on her shoulder, has a secret … shoulder, has a secret she’s kept for much too long. Then there’s Rowan Briggs, a talented chef who doesn’t know when to shut his trap, and brilliant author Juniper Davis, who’s almost given up on love. Entrepreneur Hunter Kingsley simply wants to fill her empty heart and go on an adventure, and finally, there’s Austin Masters, the nerdy scientist with a penchant for fire and a bumbling awkwardness that always lands him in a tight spot.
Sparks fly and secrets are revealed during their five days together, but it’s more than holiday whimsy and the spirit of the season that have their hearts aflutter. This year, Christmas magic – and sizzling attraction – might lead them to their true love, who could be right in front of them, standing beneath the mistletoe.

It’s been a banner time for me as a reader lately because it’s been mostly 4 and 5 star reads, and that is highly unusual. Whitley Cox’s holiday offering this year has been my favorite holiday read in years. Three couples, 6 individuals, are set up by their mutual friend, Daisy, and end up snowed in at her lodge, where they proceed to find their match. Daisy has told them that her company’s business is to set people up with their true match. Of course she hasn’t told her six friends who is paired with whom, she wants them to figure that out for themselves. And 4 of them do figure it out, quickly. One hapless couple, though, falls to the sidelines, as Austin’s big brain simply cannot comprehend that gorgeous, successful Hunter is his match. He’s so besotted with her that he can barely utter a word to her or around her. He’s seriously attracted to her, but she’s completely out of his league, or so he thinks. Will he ever get over his insecurities and go and get his woman?
I fell in love with each couple – sweet, brainy Austin and his sassy, strong Hunter whose childhood has been less than ideal; successful fantasy author, Juney, and her match, the hotheaded, sexy chef, Rowan, who is Juney’s biggest fanboy; and tough girl contractor, Amber, with a chip on her shoulder, and her match in commanding, dominant doctor, Will.
OK, I have to admit to not really liking Will, but that didn’t detract from my enjoyment in reading this story, nor did it keep me from falling in love with each couple’s journey to love. And that epilogue? It couldn’t be less holiday-ish, but it’s super sweet. I honestly think this is Whitley’s best work to date, and that’s high praise considering how much I love her previous stuff. So, if you want something sweet and sexy to warm up your holidays, I highly recommend you take a dive into Snowed In & Set Up.
This book was tons of fun! It was a pure blast to read all the different journeys throughout this. This book is definitely a keeper. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book in exchange for a free copy.

Snowed in and set up. The title says it all.. Do you have a perfect match? Would you know who it was if you were thrown into a situation with a bunch of strangers? A beautiful cabin, ski resort and the most amazing experience at your finger tips, the catch is you have to get out of your own way. This was a fun, sexy complex book that I just couldn’t put down. The characters surprise you and keep you on your toes!

This is a well written book with an entertaining story line. The author does an amazing job developing her characters and their relationships and pulling you into their lives. When all six strangers come together at a mutual friends request to celebrate the holiday it sets off a ton of emotions and enough sexual tension and steam to burn up your kindle. I loved watching the couples coming together and reading their stories. Highly recommend this book.

Six people who end up paired up and trying to make a go of it. With a few obstacles in the way. It is fun, emotional, exciting and much more. Can they make a go of it? I was given a review copy by booksprout and voluntarily review it.
Will hates Christmas and who could blame him bad things seem to happen on Christmas. Amber is a tomboy and the head of Roth Construction and she loved Christmas. Rowan a sous-chef from Olympia who walked out of his job was our next character to join the group. Juniper our Canadian oh guess what she needs a chef for a new restaurant she was opening! Austin is our workaholic saying he was a prodigy was something else finished high school at 13, graduated college at 17, then MIT and Caltech. With Austin, there is a twist very interesting. Hunter is a bit of a lost soul a business whiz our little drop-out needs some help getting centered again. This is our cast of characters for Daisy and Riley cozy Christmas celebration. Now for the real twist of the story! You will love it! Great holiday read! I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
The holidays have come early this year with another fabulous read by Ms. Cox! Whenever I read one of this author’s books, I know to expect endearing characters, a captivating storyline and it is all here wrapped up in a big bow for your reading pleasure. Daisy has invited six of her single friends up to her cabin to celebrate Christmas. What she does not tell them is that she has set them up with their potential matches as that is her livelihood. The kicker is Daisy does not specify who she has paired with whom and leaves it to the six of them to figure out for themselves. I loved how each character has his/her own distinct personality and run the gamut with regards to each one’s occupation. My favorite is Austin. He is the geeky, super smart, and socially awkward guy aptly nicknamed Sheldon (a character from “The Big Bang Theory.”) To round out the rest of the singles: Rowan is the sweet and caring cook who quit his last position because he was undervalued by his boss, Will is a demanding and overworked doctor who does not want children, Juney is a very creative author and the CEO of her family’s vineyard, Amber is the strong-willed CEO of her family’s construction business who has a tough exterior to deal with all the men in her life, and last but not least is Hunter. She is the self-made millionaire who comes from very humble beginnings. As the reader delves into this book, he/she is overcome with feelings of warmth and happiness that enriches the spirit of the holiday season. Sit back, relax and spend some time with these new friends and see where things lead….This is one book you want to grab and read!
I volunteered to read an arc for a review.
I originally read this story when it was part of the Season of Seduction boxed set. At the time, I wrote a review for Snowed In & Set Up under the boxed set listing. What follows is my original review of the story.
I received a review copy of Snowed In & Set Up and loved it so much I decided to one-click the whole set. If the rest are as good as this one I’ll be in for a treat. This is a story of six strangers set up by a mutual friend. However, none of them know who they’ve been set up with. What follows is a fun time with many laughs and steamy scenes. I loved it and can’t wait to read the other stories.
*I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this story. This is my honest review.*
LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! I fell in love 3 times with 3 couples, plus Daisy and Riley for having all of their friends meet up. Christmas, hanging by the warm fire, great food and drinks, and hot passionate sex… what more is needed! Whitley Cox wrote another amazing story with Snowed In and Set Up!
This story was so well written that it flowed effortlessly as I turned each page and the characters were so well developed that I felt like I was sitting in a room watching as the story flawlessly unfolded between the six characters!
This story is about 6 strangers who spend Christmas with their friend at their cabin only to find out they’ve been set up! Daisy ( the friend) is a matchmaker and has decided they needed to find “ the one”. The 6 of them were left on their own to figure it out! I really enjoyed this book! It was full of laughter, fighting, and really hot sexy times! Whitley was able to write a story that flowed smoothly with six different characters povs! It had me hooked from the first and didn’t let go until I finished! Everyone needs to read Snowed In And Set Up! You won’t be disappointed!
When 6 unlikely people are paired up and snowed in over the holidays all bets are off if they can pair off and find love or run away and never look back. You had the alpha doctor with the construction company owner, the genius yet geeky guy with the hemp ware millionaire and last but not least the novelist and the chef. All six coming together and celebrating the holiday as well as their differences. This was a hilarious heartwarming story that was a joy to read. I would love to catch up with all of these characters in future books.
I loved this book. I’m sucker for all things romantic Christmas. Whitley didn’t disappoint and this story of a house full of people left me so hung over and wanting more! There’s sparks left right and centre and a twist you didn’t see, that ties it all together. For a quick read, on cold winters night I highly recommend this one!!
This book is about 6 people who go to there friends for Christmas only to find they have been set up. When they arrive they are 6 strangers but when they find out what Daisy has done they decide to stay and see it it all works out for them. They are 6 very different people who you wouldn’t generally think belonged together. It’s full of laughs, sex and fights. But it’s also make you wish Christmas was here now, will everyone there be able to find the person in the group that Daisy thinks is there perfect match. I throughly enjoyed this book I laughed and cried whilst reading it. You won’t be disappointed by the stories Whitley writes for us and this book is the same I highly recommended this book to everyone.
