Six lonely hearts, five days and a whole lot of mistletoe.Christmas, a time when dreams come true, finds six lonely singles tricked into spending the holiday in a romantic cabin in the heart of Washington’s snowy Snoqualmie Pass.Dr. Will Colson, an ornery, overworked ER doctor, longs to get away and ignore the holiday, and Amber Roth, a feisty contractor with a chip on her shoulder, has a secret … shoulder, has a secret she’s kept for much too long. Then there’s Rowan Briggs, a talented chef who doesn’t know when to shut his trap, and brilliant author Juniper Davis, who’s almost given up on love. Entrepreneur Hunter Kingsley simply wants to fill her empty heart and go on an adventure, and finally, there’s Austin Masters, the nerdy scientist with a penchant for fire and a bumbling awkwardness that always lands him in a tight spot.
Sparks fly and secrets are revealed during their five days together, but it’s more than holiday whimsy and the spirit of the season that have their hearts aflutter. This year, Christmas magic – and sizzling attraction – might lead them to their true love, who could be right in front of them, standing beneath the mistletoe.

This holiday romance gives three couples a shot at a HEA. A fun plot, likable characters and a bit of heat make for a very enjoyable read.

Daisy – a match maker – sets up 6 of her friends and sends them all to spend Christmas in a cabin together. From there 3 different relationships blossom ( some quicker than others). There are some steamy moments between each couple and everyone eventually gets their hea. The ending was sweet.
A good read just didn’t get my pulse racing.

Snowed In & Set Up will have you wanting to cuddle up in front of a fire and fall in love. A story of 6 people thrown together all in the name of match making . This book was like 3 stories all in one and had me mesmerized from the start. As these couples explore attractions, self doubt, friendship and a little magic of Christmas just to top it off you will be drawn into the drama and chaos it all creates. This little Christmas adventure not only gives us laughs, love and tears but it will heat up the pages like only Whitley Cox knows how to do. These characters will draw you in and have you enjoying the ups and downs of this emotional Christmas adventure.
The perfect read with a big mug of hot chocolat. Characters are really well written and very funny to read. Had laughs and some tears. I recommend this book highly

A Canadian Romance Holiday to Enjoy, Eh!
Snowed in and Set by is the first 2018 holiday book I’ve read. I initially groaned that this was too early. I’m glad I put my big girl pantie on and read the story. I loved the storyline that had a magical quality to it. It also was written to do a nice job covering all six characters (three women and three men) without feeling there was a rush to do so. The six character were introduced pleasingly …just enough information to let you know they were successful but not perfect and totally unaware they needed help with their love life.
The way Secret Santa played out was unexpected but charming and helped move the story along, just as conversations did in brotherly and sisterly ways. The Epilogue gave a triumphant recap of their lives. There was a bonus chapter to another book that was well worth the read as well. Highly recommend.
I am volunteering to leave a review of this ARC book.
Snowed In In The Mountains!
I throughly enjoyed this story. I don’t believe I have ever laughed as hard while reading a book as I have with Snowed In & Set Up. It was an absolute delight to read. I was afraid the six way view point might be a bit confusing but it wasn’t. These six characters fit together so well as pairs and as a whole.
Will, Amber, Rowan, Juney, Austin, and Hunter are all thrown together for Christmas by a matchmaking friend. She tells them what she is up to but won’t tell them who she has matched them with. It’s up to them to find their match should they wish.
