James Brennen is nothing but a screwup. At least, in the small town of Mulberry, that’s what everyone thinks of him. As a recovering alcoholic, he’s trying his best to turn his life around, to be a better man. All of his hard work comes crashing down when he’s fired from his job at the hospital-accused of stealing drugs. Nothing ever changes and he’s done trying to prove himself. Needing time … alone, his friend’s cabin in the middle of the woods provides the perfect escape. He knows he’s found deep trouble, not only when he gets stranded during a brutal snowstorm, but that he’s stuck with the one woman he’s wanted since the first day he laid eyes on her. The passion burns bright between them, but it doesn’t matter, as soon as Christmas is over, he’s leaving for good.

He was the town drunk, from the wrong side of the tracks, a loser. That’s all changed and he has cleaned up his act and is taking his sobriety one day at a time, working and minding his business. Everyday he sees her it is a good day. She has made up excuses when she needed to see him just to make a bad day better. He had no idea how important he had become in her life. I like Erin. She’s spunky, in your face (at least with him), with a heart of gold, until it’s time to defend those she loves and hold dear. It’s a good read oh yeah and steamy too, when she finds a way to make him listen and stop running. I have to admit I love her punishment when he continues to put himself down (I was getting tired of it too). These two are just what the other needs and them finding it out is filled with pent up passion finally unleashed. It’s a sweet story of two letting go of the past, forgiving themselves and others, releasing the bad and embracing their future. Wonderful addition to the series.
James and Erin are star-crossed lovers who have pasts they want to forget as they work to enjoy life and plan for a brighter future. Erin had liked James since the first time their eyes met across her desk at the hospital. He was very handsome, had kind eyes, and always went out of his way to help people. Erin knew he had a troubled past, but she believed that the man she was falling for was a good person who deserves a second chance. James had a huge crush on Erin but he felt he wasn’t good enough for her and that he would never get to spend any time with her. But he was mistaken, because you never know when the beauty of a Christmas snowstorm might bring two people together.
The holiday season is full of sparkle, wonder and warm cookies. James only wanted to be respected for the courage he had to change his life. Erin wasn’t afraid to venture out into the snowstorm to find James and comfort him, and show him the magic of the season. Amanda Siegrist always gives us uplifting and positive stories that give us hope that everyone deserves a happy ending, and that we all need more kindness and compassion in our lives.
4.5 Stars for Snowed in Love ( Holiday Romance Novel #4)
Another wonderful, magical read from the very talented Amanda Siegrist. This is book four in the series but it can definitely be read and loved as a stand-alone. This is James and Erin’s captivating story and I think like me you will be drawn in to this magical read from the first page.
Nothing is going right for James so when he loses his job he takes himself off to a friends cabin to get his head back together.what surprises him is when Erin a former colleague follows him up to the secluded cabin. Then the snow comes and things get real interesting……
The chemistry sizzling and hard to ignore but will the snow be a blessing and the start of a wonderful relationship or will being stuck in a cabin ruin a friendship as well as the chance of a relationship. This boom has all the feels and I highly recommend it to all romance lovers.
4 Star review of Snowed in Love (Holiday Romance #1) by Amanda Siegrist
This is a wonderful holiday romance was a sweet holiday read that left me smiling when I had finished. This is James and Erin’s story that had me hooked from the first to the last chapter.
James has had his issues and yet there was something about him that I was drawn to. Things never seem to go well for him and when he finds himself fired he heads to his friend’s cabin to regroup. He is shocked when a former co worker Erin follows him. Even more complicated is the fact that they are snowed in.
The chemistry that sizzles between James and Erin is impossible to ignore. What will happen when the snow thaws? Will their blossoming relationship end or could this be the start of a wonderful adventure together?

Very good story. Thoroughly enjoyed.
Wow. This book blew me away. Amanda Siegrist took a character I didn’t like and made me love him! James is Theresa’s brother. We know him as a troublemaker and alcoholic. He treated Theresa terrible. Now he is sober, working a job as a janitor at a hospital and repairing his relationship with his sister and her now husband Officer Aiden Crowel. He gets fired from his job for something he didn’t do. He doesn’t fight it. The whole town thinks he’s a loser (and so does he) so he figures there is no point. He takes his sponsor Terry’s offer and stays in his cabin for a few days before Christmas. He thinks it’ll be a time just to reflect and figure out what he wants to do with his life. There won’t be the temptation of alcohol. But what he doesn’t expect is Erin, who works as an admin at hospital, to show up and try to show him he’s not the loser he thinks he is. While all this is going on Aiden is working to clear his name, even though James and him never really got along. There was so much I loved about this story. James has so many people on his side that he doesn’t see. Erin is fighting to show him the man she sees and defends him when anyone has a word to say about him. Aiden is fighting to clear James name and believes right away he is innocent. The connection between Erin and James is electric and warms my heart. I am also a sucker for a great snowed in romance. This is another great holiday romance from Amanda Siegrist. And by this ending I hope there is more!
Snowed in Love is a nice, small town romance about two people who had an interest in each other for quite some time but neither one acted on it. I enjoyed Erin who stood up for what she believed in even if it meant quitting her job. She was such a great influence on James. I felt sorry for James, a recovering alcoholic who never seemed to catch a break. How nice it was to see his life change and his heart open to Erin. How romantic too to be snowed in at a cute cabin in the middle of nowhere. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
James has made many mistakes in his past, and he’s trying desperately to redeem himself. Seeing Erin at work eases some of his guilt & bad feelings for a bit, especially when she smiles at him & makes small talk. But when he’s wrongfully accused of something he didn’t do & loses his job, he’s more certain now that he will always be the loser & will never be worthy in anyone’s eyes, especially Erin’s.
Erin has always had a crush on James because of his quiet, thoughtful, & sweet personality. She looks forward to seeing him at work, even though she’s too nervous to do anything more than smile & make polite conversation. When he’s suddenly let go & he assumes she thinks he’s also guilty, will Erin be brave enough to go after James to show him he’s wrong?
Erin will go to great lengths to let James know it’s okay to have a past you wish you can change. She’s guilty of the same thing. James will need to believe in Erin’s faith in him so that he can continue on his road to recovery, as well as forgiving himself. This was a sweet, sentimental holiday read!
This one was my favorite one of the series! We briefly meet James in his sister’s book and its not in the best light. He has a addiction and has taken over his life. With help from his sister Theresa, he is able to get help in rehab and build his life again. He still has his fears and doubts. It doesn’t help that some of townspeople still think of him as the trouble maker and refuse to see his change. He is helpless in this town. Erin and him work together at the hospital. She noticed him around and has done things to talk to him but he hasn’t noticed. These two story begins on a very bad for James Emotions are high and sides have taken..this brings his attitude even further down and the struggle to fail even more high. James is struggling and needing to get away. Erin knows he didn’t do anything wrong and wants to help prove his innocence. This is when things get good. Who knew a rare occasion of heavy snowfall could cause a couple to find each other and fall in love? James and Erin are seriously adorable together. She is light in his dark world that he desperately needs. She calms the storm in him. These two needs a fresh start and to heal from the past. Make amends for the things they did wrong in their lives. I highly enjoyed this book!!
I love a story that starts out with some natural disaster, whether it be an earthquake, a hurricane, a tsunami, or, in this case, a blizzard. Perfect for this time of year! I am also back with some familiar characters that I have grown to love, sharing their life with them.
James Brennan is in love, but he never lets her know about it. He is a recovering alcohol, has done bad things, hurt those close to him, and doesn’t feel he deserves anything good in his life, especially someone like Erin. The only thing that keeps him from another drink is his sister Theresa and his sponsor Terry.
Erin thinks he is a sweet guy and loves that he always stops at the emergency room desk to talk to her. He doesn’t know that she is secretly crushing on him and she is hesitant to tell him.
A lot of the normal romance, a small town, ugly gossip and an unlikely couple.
James is accused of something he didn’t do, loses his job and doesn’t even want to fight back. BUT, there are those around him that care for him and will not let it stand. I watched him struggle with his addiction, wondering why anyone would care. He’s just a loser, but there are those that believe in him. He can’t see it. He doesn’t think he deserves it.
Every time I open an Amanda Siegrist novel, I know I will get the full story, even when it’s a series. I love the recurring characters that pop in and out, as I learn more about the couple being featured. Each new book introduces me to an up close and personal look at their life.
Once I started, I couldn’t stop. I read it in one sitting and had the warm fuzzies at the end.
I voluntarily reviewed and ARC of Snowed In Love by Amanda Siegrist.

Love the story of James and Erin. James’s past makes him think he’s not worthy of love and Erin tries to prove him wrong. This is a great story with some steamy Christmas cheer.
James and Erin are awfully awkward around each other and have been snowed in together in a secluded cabin. James has been wrongfully fired from his job and has decided to leave town, Erin is going to do her best to make sure that he doesn’t leave her too. A wonderfully romantic Christmas story. Highly recommend!
Snowed In Love is the 4th book in the Holiday Romance series and this one will at times have you frustrated and angry at the judgements the town make based on James past. A man who has tried to improve himself and move forward but still drowns in the doubt. Erin is a woman who has seen the man behind his past and wants more. As Christmas fast approaches these two will be caught up in more than a snow storm. A sweet, holiday love story that will capture your heart, have you wishing for hot chocolate and falling in love with two characters that deserve a future. If it is holiday spirit, Christmas wishes and sweet romance then this story along with the series will have you utterly enamored.
James and Erin have a story to tell. The fact that the stage is set at Christmas time only makes me happier. These two have been silently pining for each other. They both work at the hospital and keep dancing around each other with interest. Wink.
My heart breaks for James. He has worked so hard to change and overcome his issues with alcohol. When he is unfairly accused of something and fired from his job, well lets just say this momma bear wants to hurt someone.
Erin is such a lovely character and her nervousness at opening herself up to James is endearing. Her belief in him is heartwarming and makes me love her more.
James struggles in forgiving himself for his past mistakes and with finding self confidence. I want to just hug him throughout most of this story.
Erin and James getting snowed in together change everything. Plan for things to heat up. Yum! Fanning myself just thinking about that part of this read.
This book is a roller coaster ride of emotions. It has not only romance but intrigue as well. What a beautiful five star read. It is my favorite holiday romance from this author so far.
Happy Reading Everyone! XOXO
Do I like blizzards? Nooooo!! But to be snowed in a cabin with hot chocolate and a hot guy and no contact with the rest of the world! YES PLEASE! I really enjoyed James and Erin’s story. The author had my attention from page one. The story flowed perfectly and the characters were just right for each other.
I feel like I know each character in this series; which really sucked me into the story even more. I love James’ personality. He has been through so much in his life and made so many bad decisions and all he wants is time to himself and to fix things and get his life together. Erin is the sweetest person, her concern is about the man she has had a crush on for a long time.
Snowed In love is the fourth book in A Holiday Romance Novel. I am looking forward to reading more by Amanda Siegrist.
Sweet, heartwarming and wonderful are words that I think of when I think of this book. I was hooked from the moment I started reading and although my heart broke for what James was going through, Erin was such a supportive character I was rooting for the two of them to find their way to each other. This book was such a unique and intriguing story that I was dying to know how things were going to work out. Just when I thought I had things figured out the author would surprising me which definitely kept me on edge until the very end. A must read book for sure!

What a sweet read! Wendy for Janise’s Jivin’ Book Blog
I have read the entire Holiday Romance Series and they are sweet reads. The characters from each previous book make appearances in this book but it can be read as a standalone. All are insta love stories so if that’s your favorite grab this series and start reading. I wasn’t a fan of James in Theresa’s story but he redeems himself and becomes a likable guy. Will look forward to next year to see who gets their story told.
Living in Australia, and in a place where it doesn’t snow, the whole idea of a white Christmas is dream worthy. Being closeted in a cabin during a snow storm with your heart’s desire is so romantic, especially around the holiday period. The whole concept intrigued me and delighted me but there is so much more to the story.
James is a bit of a lost soul, trying to fight his past as well as the judgemental people in his town. I felt immense sympathy for how they treated him, knowing he was striving to move on and prove to himself as well as everyone else that he was a worthwhile citizen, their unfair rudeness made me so angry. I loved the nervous speech pattern of Erin, she was such a caring and honest character. The chemistry between the two lead characters is combustible but their true feelings show a much greater depth.
This is a wonderful holiday romance with a little touch of mystery on the side that is a fabulous read.
Snowed in Love had me in a bundle of nerves and anticipation. I grew to love James and Erin. James was a tough cookie to crack. Everything he went through, you could feel it in the word written page by page. You actually felt that the forces were just out to get him. James needed time and Erin, our amazing heroine, was ready to take on the fight of her life. But is it too late for James? Would he fight along with Erin, or has all been lost already?
There was a lot of emotions and self doubt that came with these characters. I love Amanda’s writing because she writes in a unique way that cannot be found in other books. Her characters have become near and dear to my book world heart <3
I have read many of this authors stories, and can say 1. I have never been disappointed by a story, and 2. This is my all time favorite!
This story is AMAZING! Phenomenal writing as always, the storyline is just the right amount of angst, romance, injustice, and spice. Quick can’t put it down read! You won’t regret this holiday read!
