Trevor MacMillian is the tart and incredibly sexy executive chef who’s made pastry chef Elaine Masterson’s life a living hell. But when she catches him in nothing but a tiny little towel, it’s almost enough to make her forget they’re stranded in a luxurious mountain cabin together…or that she hates him almost as much as she craves him like a sinfully forbidden dessert.Being alone in a romantic … romantic secluded cabin might just kill Trevor outright. If Elaine hates him now, how much will she hate him if she finds out he’s been fantasizing about her full, kissable lips? So Trevor argues with her. Makes her angry—until an intense and unexpected kiss turns their hostility into insatiable hunger. And with this much heat, the snowstorm outside doesn’t stand a chance…
This book is a novella and includes the first chapter of Delicious.

These chefs now how to make it hot
I loved Snowbound Seduction…..plus reading it in the middle of a summer heatwave was a nice way to pretend to be cool as as it was burning up my Kindle. Melissa Schroeder is a fabulous writer, whether it is a novella or a long novel, as she weaves together a great story-line filled with love, angst, romance, sizzling passion and emotion, and characters that you fall in love with.
The main characters, Trevor and Elaine, are totally attracted to each other but act like they hate each other, not realizing their feelings are reciprocated, until they are snowbound together and nature (and true love) takes its course. This story is a quick, sweet and sexy read. The characters are likable and I really enjoyed it.

I enjoyed this quick story that was a light easy read. The heat in the kitchen brewing between Elaine and Trevor has reached its boiling point. The acrimony between the two talented partners sizzles with chemistry and unspoken emotions. When forced to share space the inevitable can no longer be ignored. The author infused the story with the right blend of sweet, heat, chemistry and resolution.
This story features Trevor and Lainey. These two are partners along with another in the restaurant business. The problem is that they don’t get along…at all. Lainey has issues stemming from her past. Will Trevor be strong enough to help her get over her insecurities?
Sweet and steamy story line with fabulous characters. I look forward to whatever this author comes out with next.
A short, sexy read. An enemies to lovers read where restaurant co-owners Trevor (exec chef) and Elaine (pastry chef) don’t get along but sparks are about to flare into an inferno when they find themselves trapped in a romantic cabin – will it be a blood bath or the beginning of something neither expected. Such a fine line between love and hate…

I enjoyed reading about the intense feelings in this relationship. The trials of temptation, the emotional impact of unwanted attraction and the unexpected passion that bloom in their chests. The chemistry between Trevor and Elaine is undeniable and unexpected. The misunderstandings lead to a bit of wasted time. Connecting with the characters may come easy in this story, following the plot might not be

I liked that Trevor and Elaine were both chefs working together and the way they end up in the cabin. They had great chemistry and I liked reading about them being trapped in the cabin and needing to navigate their feelings for each other.

Loved the characters, short and quick but didn’t feel rushed or under developed.
I’ve read several books written by Melissa Schroeder; she has done a great job at writing a good book; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

Snowbound Seduction was a delicious treat by Melissa Schroeder. Trevor is an executive chef and Lainey is a pastry chef all they seem to do is argue. In a attempt to force them to deal with their animosity with each other, their partner Mick tricks them into spending the weekend at a cabin in the mountains. Forced to spend together they slowly begin understand each other better and passion is ignited. Trevor realizes that Lainey is the one he has been waiting for. Will he be able to convince Laney they belong together? 5 stars! Hoping Mick gets his story soon.
Trevor has been having thoughts about Elaine. Trevor has made Elaine’s life miserable. They are stuck in a luxury mountain cabin together. Now we know that there is a fine line between love and hate and hate is a very strong emotion. When the anger turns to a kiss and that kiss turns passionate. This is a short but passionate read. I loved how Elaine and Trevor interacted. The story flowed and it was a very enjoyable story.

This was an excellent read! Trevor and Lainey were partners that acted like toddlers. They liked each other, but in their avoidance acted as if they hated each other. Always fighting and picking at each other. A plan put in place by their third partner forces them to spend time alone with each other with the hopes of working out their differences. It has interesting results.
Only the snow is cold!
Elaine is the pastry chef and Trevor is the executive chef in the same restaurant; however, the sparks between them are not of the romantic kind. Unaware of the circumstances they individually accept a friend’s invitation to set them up in his cabin. Will their mutual attraction take over and lead to romance? Fast-paced and full of sass and angst you’re sure to enjoy this wonderful read.

Short story 4 stars. – This is a short story with a bit of steam and a bit of character development. There is a serious background story to Elaine but not much on Trevor. The characters are likable though. There’s enough romance. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A fell good read. The male character is so real in his inability to express his feelings. But comes around and win the reluctant girl . I read this in one setting. No house work got done. Oh well. It wad worth it.

Trevor MacMillian and Elaine Masterson are partners and chefs at a successful restaurant but absolutely do not get along. It is very stressful working together. When their friend and the third partner decides it’s time for them to settle their dispute, he secretly sets them up in his cabin, not realizing a snowstorm is coming and they will be snowed in together. Not that Mick had planned on giving them a way to leave anyway until they settled their dispute once and for all!
Trevor is a very attractive executive chef. Pastry chef Elaine Masterson is irritated by every breath he takes! She happily accepts a chance for a getaway to Mick’s mountain cabin. And when she arrives and surprises him as he is wearing only a tiny little towel, things become much more difficult to control. Now they have to deal with their hostilities at least overnight before the driver can pick them up. He asks why she won’t call him “Trev” instead of Trevor. He considers it more intimate, just like he calls her Lainey, which she protests. She explains they are professionals and not pals. Forgetting himself, he kisses her, wanting to be her pal. And she kissed him back! His British mother would be upset at his lack of control, so he apologized. Her face paled at that, and she told him to stay away, not realizing it was the apology and not the kiss that she was reacting to now.
Trevor had been letting his fantasies run wild in his head from the first time they met, but now the only way to keep his hands off her is to concentrate on keeping her angry and away from him. So he argues with her to put distance in between. He was ashamed Mick’s plan for them was ruined by his practically attacking the woman.
So both are trying to deal with this forced proximity in the cabin while the snow provides no way to escape. And they slowly get to know each other better. She is such a private person with her personal life, having come from the foster care system. Mick had a hard life too and they are like brother and sister. Will his plan perhaps work after all if the two can talk without snarling? And would he keep her safe so that her fear of entrapment didn’t send her in terror to run down the mountain?
It’s odd that these two are crazy about each other, but totally unaware of that fact. Will there be a catalyst that will throw them together and let their suppressed relationship flourish? The kiss in the kitchen lit a spark, but the apology doused it with water. Will they get another chance? Or will the tension escalate even further if they try to ignore it?
This book was great. It was one of those that you can’t put down. Trevor was an amazing chef and always starting fights with one of his partners, Elaina. Lainey was a great pastry chef and had it bad for Trevor. These two get stuck together on a weekend getaway and all he’ll breaks lose. These two were meant for each other. I loved this book!

Snowbound Seduction is another wonderful example of why I read anything written by Melissa Schroeder. This short, quick and exceedingly HOT read shows that while your professional differences may cause animosity and rivalry; sexual chemistry ignites an inferno there’s only one way to douse. Can two competitive and equally competent chefs find a balance between their personal and business lives and let nature take its course and animal attraction win the fight? Trevor and Elaine’s story is fast-paced and packed full of angst, sass, and combustible heat, so settle back and enjoy their war of words and undeniable passion.

This book was ok. I feel like it would have been better if it had been longer.
I liked Trevor and Lainey. I liked the whole trapped in a snowstorm theme. I liked that they were both chef’s. I even liked that their friend Mick intervened on their behalf. I think they had chemistry that was just starting to develop. A romance newly discovered and accepted. Then the story was over.
It felt like there was the possibility of so much more to their characters (and Mick’s) that I never got to experience. I don’t want to seem critical because I did like what I read. I just didn’t feel like I got an entire book.
