This is a modern book based on Snow White , complete with 7 roommates and a Prince! Sara White is a reporter at the Dayton Daily Newspaper. Her date runs the paper and his new wife is the typical evil stepmother, threatening Sara and her job! Sarah rights a story about a local mine owner who died and the mine was now for sale. During her research and a conversation with the new owner a Prince she discovers that one company will have monopoly on the rare earth element mines if he’s successfully buys this last mine. As she looks more into she discovers the last seven mines sold recently all had one thing in common. All the owners died in car accidents at night! This was an interesting book. It had a good reporter although not an investigator reporter pulling the facts together to solve a crime and save a life! You got to see the close relationship Sara has with her co workers, friends and even her dad despite the stepmothers interference! This book had a nice pace to it. I really enjoyed this book and recommend this book and this author!
I LOVE AMORETTE”S SPIN OF SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS. TO FIND OUT WHO SNOW IS AND WHO WAS MURDERED PICK UP YOUR COPY OF SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN MURDERS.
This is a quick funny romantic comedy with a bit of mystery. I absolutely loved this book. I highly recommend it. This is one of my favorite authors.
I received this book free and this is an honest and voluntary review
This was a different interesting take on Snow White. Sara White is a reporter who has stumbled on an interesting story. Yes there is an evil stepmother, there is also a prince. The dwarf’s are around but we don’t actually meet them. This time around Snow a/k/a Sara is saving the Prince. This is a quick read that makes you guess who is the bad guy and why. So have fun reading this retelling of Snow White. If you love cozy mysteries check out this book.
*I received a free copy of this book via the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.*
This is a great read! I couldn’t put it down once I started reading it. The plot was fast paced and very entertaining.
I love this book. What a great idea turning a sweet fairytale into a modern-day tale with a twist. Sara White, journalist at her father’s paper has found a story she can make her own and hopefully solve a years old crime in the process. As she begins her research, soon she is speaking with the potential owner of the company she is investigating only to find he’s not only a rich businessman but a prince. What a fun and well-written story. This is my honest, voluntary review of an advanced reader copy of this book.

Title:
Tie, tie! Or the case of the teleporting tie.
Some things tend to stay the same for certain authors and this style shift is being inserted into the magical background of smaller town Colorado.
Trading on the fact that Colorado has both silver/gold and other key metals mines is always a good investment.
{Smart of Sand Hills: the eventual run out of oil has been announced for a while now, by buying other sources of income producing products can work to keep their income/wealth up far into the future. Finding Middle East countries who can look beyond tomorrow and years down the road is always refreshing.
It s nice to learn about who the romantic interest is early in this story (and I know that it s listed as a sort of Romantic Cozy, yet it seems to veer easily into the Rom-Com genre as well.)
Some of the characters names imply that we ll have more of these stories in the future.
Well, if Snow White is identified as a Princess, then it would be an eventual Royal wedding. If she continues to portray that she s just a normal young lady, then she (likely would be called “Lady”, but in actuality her title would be Consort.)
Sometimes, not finding an item is the clue.
You really should get this (first of a new series) to see a good rewrite of a weak original (IMO) fairytale. It really is a good retelling, as well as being upto date -modern- as well.
{Interesting twist, working for a relative, while keeping it hidden from co-workers isn t as easy as most people think.}
Live life,
John Shrek Walters
I really enjoyed this book. The characters were interesting and there were enough secrets and suspense to keep me reading. I definitely recommend this book as a good cozy read.
Good read, entertaining and fun way to spend a rainy Sunday afternoon! Kept me entranced through the entire thing and couldn’t put it down until the end. Interested to see if this will be a series and what direction it will go.
This is a great book. Sara White is a great character, and I love how it spins off a fairy tale. It is completely different than Snow White, so don’t go thinking its a remake! It is a page turner, and one you just can not put down. I really hope Amorette has another book in this series!!
I loved reading this book. It brought the Snow White characters into a more modern day life. The author always has a good storyline and characters. To me the most important things are that you can read a story and find it believable and you can get involved in the story. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves to read.
This is a different take on the fairy tale. Sara is a newspaper reporter and Snow is her father’s nickname for her. She stumbles upon a mystery and during the course of writing about a current event the clues pile up until she comes upon seven murders. She persists until the crimes are solved. Of course she meets her prince. Just when he is almost the eighth death she wakes him with a kiss. A little mystery, a little romance, a good story. Love the nuances throughout. A quick, enjoyable read.
I had already pre-ordered the book when as part of Amorette’s ARC group I was offered a chance to read it before it was available for purchase.
I loved the book as the story was original and a truly fun read. To read about an updated version of a fairytale was unexpected fun! The characters were modern, the story set in today’s world plus the twists and turns made this book great. I am so looking forward to getting my paid copy as it is a book worth keeping!!
I enjoyed this book and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone! It’s fast-paced and I was finished in one sitting. It kept my interest throughout as I was putting all the clues together in my mind as I was reading it and arrived at who did it before it was revealed.
This is a cozy mystery that is a departure from Amorette’s “witchy” books as there are none to be found but Sara already possesses the confidence that Penny is gaining more of in her own series.
It’s a cozy mystery I believe you’ll all enjoy old or young.
I love this author’s stories. Once again she has written a great book, with main characters that are smart, funny, and not always perfect. They have flaws and problems just like everyone. Sara is keeping a big secret from her dad about her evil stepmother, and it is effecting her career. She loves what she does, but can not advance because of a threat from her stepmother. As a regular business reporter, she stumbles on a serial murderer. The murderer is killing mine owners and then buying them up. She must find out who the murderer is and stop them, before a new owner (and possibly her new love interest) is murdered also.
Even though the murderer was fairly apparent early on, the process Snow (aha Sara) White went through was realistic and a good read. The drawfs are only in the background, but that left more story for the main characters.
I loved this book. This is something new from this author. It is entirely different than her Hillcrest Witch series. Amorette did an excellent job with the characters. Even though it was a love story, it has alot of mystery involved. So if you like mystery, romance books, try this one. Very enjoyable read. I am hoping to read more like this from this author.
I recieved this book as an ARC from bookfunnel and this is my honest opinion. It’s a fast paced fun read and I really enjoyed it. I love fairy tales and modern day fairy tale characters.
I love this author! She writes stories that you can relate to and manages to put joy, fun and mystery in every story. This book was excellent and I was captured by the characters and the mystery right away. Different than her other series (no witches) but a really great start on a slightly different road. I hope to read more along these lines.
Revisiting a largely known fairytale in a playful way, Amorette brings her best tool: investigative work, adding a bit of romance, a prince, and a tormented heroine. A joyful, light story that attracts you from the beginning to the end.
