Wendy Meadows’ Snow Toys for You us another installment in the Alaska Cozy Mysteries. It was easy to jump right in and get to know these well developed characters. The twisted mind of the killers and the intrigue and suspense make this a good page-turning mystery.
Sarah and Amanda have gone to Michigan to assist Sarah’s cousin Bonnie who has been getting threatening letters.
Danger seems to follow Sarah around. They no sooner arrive in Four Ridges than a dead body is found in her cousin’s store.
Now Sarah and her bestie, Amanda are in the middle of a murder investigation once again. This time maybe corruption in government, or then again, cousin Bonnie is a little different and having explosive mood swings.
This story is intriguing and holds your interest throughout. Get ready to enjoy this 5-star mystery.

Sarah and Amanda have their hands full with cousin Bonnie. Bonnie is a force of nature and watch out that you do not make her mad. A good plot that had many twists and turn that kept the story intriguing and fun. Wendy Meadows has a way with words, her stories grab you and immerse you into the story so that you feel like you are there with the characters. Great series.
I normally love all the books I read by the author, but this one was a bit strange for my tastes. The mystery itself was well done as usual. The characters were well developed and the author did a great job with the Bonnie character. The part of the book that was disquieting was the weird references to the snowman, some kind of boogie man for Sarah. I did not really understand the references at all.

I love the Title and play on words.
Family comes first especially when you made a promise to family to help Cousin Bonny when needed. Bonnie is different from the ‘average’ person. Bonnie has been receiving threats and a body is murdered in her shop.
Bonny owns her own toy store that she has worked very hard on and at. You go
Bonnie, I was impressed with what you accomplished.
You may interpret Bonnie one way but I interpreted her differently. The author did not get back to me on it but I suspect more of a psychological mis-ease than what you will think. But that is a very minor issue for the story.
There is more to the story than just the threats and the offer to buy her shop. I was totally surprised and had to rethink my who done it.
The story follows previous stories but do not despair!!!! You can start reading the series here and follow along just fine. Each one can be read as a standalone story. However, if you are like me and get hooked then you will want to go back and get caught up.
Fun, page turning mystery to read.
This is my honest and freely given review. I did receive an ARC book.
