Will Sarah save Manford from his past and himself? Or will she become the next victim in a twisted plot?
Sarah and Amanda set out to spend the day at O’Mally’s Department store and shop until they drop. But when a starving person named Manford Sappers shows up and tries to rob them, the fun-filled day turns into a strange mystery that takes Sarah down an unexpected path. Unwilling to believe … Sarah down an unexpected path. Unwilling to believe that Manford is truly dangerous, Sarah forces him to give up his attempt to rob her and convinces him to come into O’Mally’s for a cup of hot coffee. Manford reluctantly agrees, though it’s clear his painful past has made him unwilling to trust authority—or to explain why he’s in town. When Conrad shows up and tells Sarah that a murder has taken place, all eyes fall on Manford.
Refusing to believe Manford is a killer, Sarah convinces the Chief of Police to release Manford Sappers into her custody. It isn’t long before Sarah begins to discover some very horrible truths about Manford that draw her closer and closer to his heart. Matters turn worse when a hideous enemy tracks Manford down and threatens his life and his newfound safety in Snow Falls. Now Sarah has to worry about two killers while desperately trying to save the life of a lost heart.

Wonderful New Alaska Cozy Mystery!
Sarah, Amanda and Conrad have their hands full proving to Manford Sappers that ‘Love Isn’t Charity!’ Manford is down on his luck, hungry, and running for his life but got an amazing gift from the warm-hearted people of Snow Falls. Great read. Enjoy!
I received an arc copy and am happy to leave my honest review.
I love Alaska and I love the characters in this book, from their funny nicknames for each other to their zany actions. This book did not disappoint and I continue to look forward to reading more in this series. There are a few I have not read and I am definitely getting them to catch up.

When they person that you are working with is what you would call your ride or die, then when the suspense, and mystery can lead to fear, but the helper keeps you calm where you can make it through the situation. A great read that matches the rest of the series.

This is the first book in the series that I’ve read but I didn’t feel lost at all by not reading other books in the series. It was fun and entertaining from the first page. Two good friends Sarah & Amanda, are out for a day of shopping and end up being held at knife point by a mugger, a mugger who is hungry so they decide to buy him lunch. Next thing you know their mugger is the number one suspect in a murder that has happened since he’s a stranger in town. Sarah believes their mugger is innocent and will do what she needs to do to prove it.

Amanda and Sarah are out shopping when a small, short man tries to rob them of their money. They refuse to give in to him and end up befriending him instead. Manford is from a circus, and his ‘owner’ wants him back no matter the cost or who gets hurt. Along with this incident, Mrs. Appleson is murdered and reported by her daughter. Something isn’t adding up with her daughter, but then she too is found dead. All the while, Henry Billinger is coming to Alaska to get Manford. Can they solve the murders and keep Manford safe? You will have to read the book to see what happens. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Another fun and creative twist to a murder in Snow Falls., Alaska that once again brings out Sarah Garland’s kind and loving heart to solve the murder and create a better life for a new stranger in town.

Coincidences happen, right? In Snow Mercy there are several coincidences that end up being the central part of this story. This story begins with a comical situation and turns into what someone may call familial love. This books takes a break from the normal adventures that we have in the series to take on love and self-discovery. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It is fairly quick read that can be completed in a couple of hours.

Sarah and Amanda are out enjoying a day of shopping and chatting when the comedy ensues. After dealing with an attempted mugging by Manford, the small male that is always telling us how small he is, Sarah and Amanda find out there has been a murder and who is the number one suspect? Manford. Sarah doesn’t believe for a minute that Manford is guilty of the crime and does what she can to protect him and prove his innocence. This takes you on the journey of solving the case.
This is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone. I have read only 1 other book of this series so far, and was able to keep up.
Would I recommend this book? Yes

Another cozy mystery from Snow Falls, Alaska. The beginning of the book sees an attempted robbery of our two main characters Amanda and Sarah Those who already know them already know it will fail – and it does. Taking pity on the young man they invite him to food and Sarah’s mother instincts start acting up
Finding out more about him makes them and Conrad want to integrate him into their family and protect him from whatever he is running away from.
A mix of cozy mystery and small town life, blended with a touch of human interest. A great mix and good entertainment.

Fantastic series, Sarah has truly grown to love her little Alaskan town. The citizens in this little piece of heaven are wonderful. Well, except for the murderers. Love the interaction between Sarah and Amanda. True sisters in every way except biological. A new character has joined the circle of friends and I look forward to seeing what experiences he has ahead of him. Highly recommend this series to all cozy mystery lovers.
A PG13 thriller that can be read in less than a day, this finds us in Snow Falls in winter and demonstrates that it is not the outer appearance but the inner heart that is important.

The eleventh book in the Alaska Cozy Mystery series and I want to read the rest of the books in this series. It is well written and kept my interest until the end. The story flows smoothly from page to page. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Sarah and Amanda never imaged that their planned shopping day at O’Mally’s department store would go from shop-til-you-drop to an attempted robbery. Manford Sappers is not what is to be expected and instead of being afraid and worried about him being dangerous, the ladies invited him for a cup of coffee and some food. They soon realize that his life is in danger and with a murderer in town, all eyes are on him for suspect number one. Sarah convinces the police to release him into her custody and that is where the adventure begins.
This is a cozy mystery with lots of twists and turns. Sarah and Amanda must race against time to discover who the real killer is, while trying to protect Manford from a deadly predator. Written with the perfect amount of wit, mystery, and suspense, the reader will find themselves unable to put the book down until the very end.

Snow Mercy is an easy to read cozy mystery that be be read as a stand-alone as well as part of a series. Sarah and Amanda a shopping when they get mugged at knifepoint by the worst mugger ever. This decision changes Manford forever as the two women decide to befriend him rather than have him arrested. Murder, mystery and a touch of romance quickly follow. This is a good book with lots going on but one thing really grated .. why does Amanda have to call everyone Love in every single sentence? This seriously impacted my enjoyment of this book. I recommend this book to all cozy mystery fans.
Amanda and Sarah return for another fun cozy. This time there are 2 story lines going on in the book, a murder of an actress’ mother, and a “little person” who has escaped from the circus and has a major hang-up with his size. While Conrad is handling the murder, Amanda and Sarah take over getting Manford back on his feet, and Manford has his own skeletons in the closet to deal with. This was a fun read and had its heartwarming moments plus some laughs. You can’t help feeling sorry for Manford, even though he has a rough start in the book, and it was hard to put the book down.
