When the Sage Gardens Social Committee arranges a murder mystery weekend at a winter resort, Samantha convinces Walt, Jo and Eddy to join her, as the group that solves the murder wins a cruise. But the cruise becomes the last thing on the four retirees’ minds when they are snowed in and then Eddy stumbles across a dead body. Then things get even worse when the body goes missing and the four … four friends find that they have a real murder mystery to solve. But how can they solve the mystery without a body?
Will the ‘Sage Gardens Sleuths’ find the dead body and the murderer before the snow melts and the murderer disappears? Or worse, will they land up in danger with no way to escape?
This is book 10 in the Sage Gardens Cozy Mystery Series. The main mystery is solved in each book, but the series is best enjoyed when read in order.

Witty way in having senior citizens solve a murder. They go to a murder mystery weekend retreat and solve a real murder.
I could just not get into this book. Characters not very interesting.
I really liked this book and already wrote a review. Would recommend it to any reader. Clean and no swearing like many of the books that are out now.
Easy reading. Light and quick to read.
Felt like “I” was at a murder mystery dinner “who dunit” …. Laughed out loud .. Having a mother living in a retirement facility, the antics of these folks rang true with her and her “buds” … keep it coming!!!
not realistic
Keep guessing story
The story was very believable and the mystery kept me guessing until the end. Great group of characters! A fun read!
The murder mystery weekend at a resort hotel turns real in the midst of a blizzard and the four friends from Sage Gardens need to convince the staff. But there’s no blood, the body goes missing, and the suspect list is pretty long. Very enjoyable sleuthing!
Kept you interested t every turn of the page loved the characters
Really enjoyed the colorful character’s. When the four of them go on bus trip to resort for mystery murder. First night one sees dead body, but everyone makes him think he didn’t. Then there is a blizzard. Then thing’s really start happening.Great read
Bored me to tears.
So-so.
A straight-forward story with a bit of a twist, easy read with which to relax.
Nice, easy read with wonderful characters!
This was not what I expected but really enjoyed it. Will look for more by this author
Enjoyed this book. Group of seniors solve a real murder at a murder mystery weekend. Well done.
Good plot but very awkward. Too many “rookie” mistakes made by the four main characters that placed them in danger. The scenes could have been better “fleshed out”. It read more like a “first” book. While the ending wrapped up things rather nicely, I think that there was one glaring, dangling bit of unfinished business that leaves one person at the mercy of a very nasty bad guy. Hope this matter is cleared up in a future book.
boring-predictable outciome
When the crew from Sage Gardens booked a Murder Mystery Weekend at a resort, they got more than they bargained for. Can they use their years of experience to solve a real life murder? Read this book to find out.
