When the Sage Gardens Social Committee arranges a murder mystery weekend at a winter resort, Samantha convinces Walt, Jo and Eddy to join her, as the group that solves the murder wins a cruise. But the cruise becomes the last thing on the four retirees’ minds when they are snowed in and then Eddy stumbles across a dead body. Then things get even worse when the body goes missing and the four … four friends find that they have a real murder mystery to solve. But how can they solve the mystery without a body?
Will the ‘Sage Gardens Sleuths’ find the dead body and the murderer before the snow melts and the murderer disappears? Or worse, will they land up in danger with no way to escape?
This is book 10 in the Sage Gardens Cozy Mystery Series. The main mystery is solved in each book, but the series is best enjoyed when read in order.

Entertaining for a light read. Loved the characters
.
I felt like the first part of the book was a little predictable, but it picked up and kept me interested throughout.
didn’t like it boring characters
great mystery
This book was a quick read with well developed characters and lots of twists and turns in the plot. I would recommend to those who like cozy mysteries.
I stopped reading about half-way. Very repetitive and predictible
When the description said it was a murder mystery about some people trapped in a ski chalet, I was like, OK. What it didn’t say is that they’re trapped in the same ROOM, which makes it all the more diabolical.
Enjoyed reading.
Loved this series. I’m reading another Cindy Bell series as well.
Unmemorable
Took so long with four characters weaving around not action pact.
This book was just okay for me – I did finish reading the book, but it didn’t give me any sense of urgency to read what happened next. A bit pedantic.
Love.
The Sage Garden sleuths solve another one.
A little shallow
Nice read, with senior citizens as the lead charactors.
The characters are enchanting, such vivid descriptions by the author. Story line keeps you reading to find out what happens next. I highly recommend it!
Easy reading. Not great but not bad.
Elderly are made to look silly
Four senior citizen detectives travel to a resort for a mystery weekend, hoping to solve the mystery and win a cruise. Instead, Eddy, a retired police detective, stumbles across a dead body. Unfortunately he is the only one to see the body, and the resort security staff is skeptical and treat the incident as a missing persons case. The book is charming and the characters likeable.
