A Love Worth Fighting For… wanted anything. The problem is, she already belongs to a Bratva boss who plans to sell her virginity to the highest bidder.
I have to find a way to set her free.
I want to be her first, and her last…
“Snow” is a virgin dark mafia romance, Book 2 in the Underworld series. It’s an intense, violent, and sexually charged stand-alone novel. Complete with HEA and no cliff-hangers, plus enough steamy scenes to set your kindle on fire!
The Lark Notes:
Sasha and Snow are a secret favorite… He fights for her like no other hero I have ever written. Don’t miss this love story! – Sophiemore
I’m absolutely in love with Snow. While it is a mafia book, it’s not typical. The main characters are not in the actual mafia, which is a nice change. From the very beginning, you will love Sasha and the fire she has. She is such a strong person, willing to risk everything for her family. Snow is an underground boxer who you fall in love with over time. Watching their relationship form from the moment they saw each other at a match, the things they each go through to end up at the HEA, is enough to break any normal person. The Color of Love series has quickly become a favorite of mine and Snow is the perfect addition to this series. I hope there are many more to come because I will never tire of them!

Snow is a fighter and he meets Sasha who is a doctor. She is indebted to the mafia because her father owes them money. Good read and romance.

Never have I enjoyed a boxing, romance, mafia story like I did this one! It was exciting, suspenseful, dangerous and oh so sexy. I don’t even know who I loved more. Snow or Sasha. They were completely polar opposites yet couldn’t have been more perfect for one another. I really liked how their individual stories built up at the beginning of the book before they ever met each other. Really made a foundation for the characters I thought.
Snow was a hardened fighter who made sure to stay closed off to emotions and then there was Sasha who relied on her emotions and caring nature to keep her going. She really helped him to open up and actually feel something and he helped her to not have the weight of the world constantly on her shoulders. Snow was so gentle and loving to her but lethal in the ring. And speaking of the ring. This author’s writing talent is amazing with how vivid her books are. It was like I had a front row seat at the boxing fights. Such a good story and worth every one of the 5 stars.

Sophie Lark has done it again! She created another full-bodied tale of Russian intrigue and survival among people indebted to a feared Bratva boss. This is the story of Sasha, a new doctor who sacrifices her own future as repayment for her father’s debt owed to a local mob boss. Sasha has agreed to provide all medical services the boss demands for the next 20 years in exchange for him forgiving the debt owed by her father. Sasha has lived a very sheltered and protected life while she has been away at medical school. Upon her return home, she sees for the first time how much her father has changed, becoming a shadow of the man he used to be. She learns that it is because he borrowed money from the boss in order to keep Sasha’s mother living the luxurious lifestyle to which she had become accustomed over the years. The fact that the family restaurant is no longer profitable, has few, if any customers, and has fallen into a state of disrepair, causes Sasha to realize her father will never be able to pay back the debt. Through Sasha, Ms. Lark creates a character who is willing to do whatever it takes to help her family (her mother, father and sister), and keep her father alive and unharmed when the boss demands the debt be paid. Sasha is transformed from a spoiled “princess” who grew up with the best of everything and every advantage society offered, into a fighter who has learned that she would set aside all of her needs and wants for love.
Sasha meets a fighter nicknamed “Snow” who is frightening and intimidating to the innocent Sasha. Snow has led a life of tragedy and loneliness, never knowing the love or warmth of a family. He is ruthless and cold-hearted, keeping clear of as much trouble as he can, and that includes the Bratva. Snow is a giant of a man who has learned from a very young age how to box and street fight to keep himself safe. Because of his size and determination, he amasses an impressive record of fights he has never lost. These fights are held in abandoned warehouses by the local mob boss, and the fighters earn a small purse with each fight. Snow sees Sasha at one of these fights and has an instant connection with her. Sasha returns Snow’s attraction and the plot heats up from their first meeting. These characters, along with the many Bratva soldiers, Snow’s manager and his entourage, and other fighters and their families, flesh out a well-written story that will leave you both hot and bothered as well as on the edge of your seat as they battle for their lives and love. I am a huge fan of Sophie Lark’s books. She knows how to spin a tale that is authentic and well-researched! She knows how to make her readers cry, cringe, gasp in fear, and suck on ice cubes to cool off!! I cannot wait for her next book…it is such a shame that they all have to end!
