A Love Worth Fighting For… wanted anything. The problem is, she already belongs to a Bratva boss who plans to sell her virginity to the highest bidder.
I have to find a way to set her free.
I want to be her first, and her last…
“Snow” is a virgin dark mafia romance, Book 2 in the Underworld series. It’s an intense, violent, and sexually charged stand-alone novel. Complete with HEA and no cliff-hangers, plus enough steamy scenes to set your kindle on fire!
The Lark Notes:
Sasha and Snow are a secret favorite… He fights for her like no other hero I have ever written. Don’t miss this love story! – Sophiemore
This is a splendid bratva/mafia romance & it was a pleasure to read even though I am not very enthusiastic about any kind of sport. The plot was well-written & very interesting with good scene descriptions. The well-developed characters are likable & continue to develop throughout the story-line.
There is: a virginal young female doctor (Sasha) is trapped by a Bratva Boss (Krupin) who has devious plans to sell her but a male boxer (Snow) who has a different plan in mind for her makes a deal with Krupin, Bratva/mafia, boxers, twists & turns, intrigue, suspense, family issues, adventure, action, attractions, longings, ultimatums, threats, danger, violence, conflict, brutality, death, murder, manipulations, humiliation, confrontations, protectiveness, compromises, contentment, happiness, love, some steam & a satisfying conclusion.
Snow: A Dark Mafia Romance by Sophie Lark is an awesome fast paced read.engaging, intense, interesting, intriguing,,fast paced, emotional and touching story of Snow and Shasha. a sport romance that you will love and enjoy. its a page turner! great story line, interesting characters with off the charts chemistry, well done

When Sasha comes home from with college, everything has changed. Her family’s business is going down, her family is broken and suddenly the Bratva is all over her life. The things she is asked to do for them are unconscionable. All she can think about is Snow, the huge, tough, cold fighter. The love they feel is almost eclipsed by the violence around them. If only they can manage to escape. A really good read.

Sasha a bratva princess who becomes a doctor. She’s ready to tell her parents and start her life. Snow sees the young Sasha at a tournament and is drawn to her. He will protect her at all cost to make sure she’s safe and free. These two were fantastic. The are very protective of all and everyone they care about. They find they are stronger together than by themselves. Such a great story. Highly recommend. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I received an ARC of this book for an honest review.
This is my first Sophie Lark book and I have to say, it definitely drew me in, in a way that I wasn’t expecting. From the very beginning, it was intense and powerful. I felt every single thing in the first scene, and as the book continued, I only wanted to know more.
This fast burn mafia/sports romance had me on the edge of my seat from page one and refused to let me go until the very end. I was enthralled with everything going on, from the fights to the intense connection between Snow and Sasha.
Snow was intense, broody and everything you love about an alpha. His need to protect Sasha was just as intense as he is. I felt all of Sasha’s pain as she went through each and every motion, from protecting her own family to falling in love.
This book was definitely full of passion and suspense, keeping you guessing at every turn. There were some things that did make me a bit squeamish, but it’s a mafia romance so that was a given. I haven’t read any of the other books in the series but they are all standalone books so you do not need to read them to understand this one.
Four stars for this intense and emotional mafia sports romance that will definitely keep you guessing until the very end.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the Colors of Crime and I really hope this series keep going on and on.
This is a dark romance that contains suspense and steamy scenes. Snow is an underground fighter, he is brutal in the ring, but ever so gentle with Sasha. Sasha wears her emotions on her sleeve and is a very loving person. Their relationship is an amazing read.

Title: Snow by Sophie Lark
Genre: Dark Mafia Romance
About the Book: Snow gained the name due to being stone cold. He feels nothing but is there someone who can thaw him or is there no one out there?
Review: One thing that I disliked about the book was that when the POV changed there would be a backtrack so a scene that just occurred wouldn’t be continued in the other characters POV but slightly retold. The story was good and I liked the dimension of the characters.
Overall Rating (Out of 5 stars): 3 out of 5 stars.
This is like a movie, fast paced and so thrilling. The book Sophie Lark pens is so descriptive and is action packed. The underground fighting mixed in with mafia aspect of it makes this romance heart-stopping. Snow and Sasha can’t be any more different but the connection flows between them is undeniable. This enjoyable mafia, underground fighting, romance is one not to be missed. It’s a must read.
Do you like romantic mafia books? Well Snow by Sophie Lark is just that but with a twist. This is a standalone book and is book six of the Colors of Crime series and it was edge of your seat gripping. A great story that I sat down and devoured in one day because I just couldn’t put it down. Different, somewhat twisted, completely sensual, and some good ol’ mafia violence thrown in for good measure. Snow is anything but a cold book, oh no, it is an inferno that will set your world on fire. 5- stars for Snow by Sophie Lark.
Sasha returns home to St. Petersburg from medical school only to find that her family is in trouble with the Bratva. The brave and strong-willed woman will do anything to save her family even if it means working for the feared criminals that rule the streets. Snow wants to make enough money boxing so he can get to America and continue training and win his gold belt in boxing. Snow and Sasha’s paths cross and soon the two can’t seem to distance themselves from the ruthless mafia world and all the dangers that it holds. Intwined in the illegal world of underground boxing Snow is willing to make the ultimate sacrifice if it means that Sasha will be safe, but will it cost him his life in doing so?
She wasn’t raised in the bratva. Sasha was raised like a princess and went to school to become a doctor. She’s passed her exams is now ready to head home and find a job in a local hospital, maybe travel some when she can. Her family has always been pretty well off, they own a restaurant that has been in the family for a few generations. She’s excited to get home and share with her parents that she has passed her exams with great scores. However, when she returns home, she notices a lot of changes with her father, the restaurant, and their home. She may not have been raised in the bratva, but she is not naïve, she knows how they work, and she is very aware of danger when you owe them.
Snow is fighter, but he does not fight for anyone but himself. He has dreams of becoming legit and making a real name for himself. When he hears of a tournament that can get that much closer to his dreams he is determined to fight, even if his training is not sure that he’s ready for this tournament. He doesn’t want to fight for any of the bratva bosses because he doesn’t want to be owned by them. He fights a clean fight and he maintains his morals at all costs. When he first sees the young doctor at the tournament, he is drawn to her. He finds himself attracted to her and can’t seem to turn his back on her, he’ll put himself on the line to make sure that she is safe and free. It might cause him his life, but his determination could prevail too.
I love this story. These two are survivors and they are very protective of the people they care about in their lives. They will go through a lot of changes and will find the strength they both have deep inside to survive and they become stronger together. I give this story a 5-star review and recommend it to readers who enjoy mafia/bratva, suspense, women who find their strength when the people they care about could be in danger, and the men that will go to any extreme to protect the woman that steels their heart, as well as the people they are loyal to.
This book has so many good elements to it! I love the couple. Sasha and Snow are hot, hot, hot! The Bratva element gives us twists and turns in the plot. I also like the boxing storyline. The scenes are realistic and well written.
The story also gives us a great romance. It is love without drama between the couple. I loved this book as I have all the others in this series. It is a standalone book within the series. Loved it!!!
I wasn’t quite sure what to expect of this story. Mafia, underground fighting, sacrifice, falling for the unexpected. The man with the dimples in his cheeks, the hulking arms, the tattoos, the intelligence in his eyes. What a contradiction, who is this not so gentle giant. Who is this man who falls for the innocent doctor who sacrifices her happiness for her family? I was reeled in and fell in love with the petite doctor with the backbone of steel and her protective fighter. I can’t wait to read more from this writer who writes so visually her stories come to life.

Snow by Sophie Lark
Delve into the world of underground boxing run by the Russian mob. Meet Snow. One of the best boxers in the group. Snow is everything his nickname leads you to believe. He is ice cold. He is driven. He is focused. Enter Sasha. The young, female doctor who has just become entangled with one of the Bratva bosses in an attempt to pay off her father’s debts. However, when Snow and Sasha bump into each other outside the boxing setting, Sasha begins to see a side of Snow she never realized existed and Snow had hidden deep behind his rough exterior. Read along as the passion between these two heats up and melts the Snow. ** NOTE: There are some sexually explicit scenes.
4.5 Another winer from this author!
I devoured it in one sitting! The storyline was really interesting, engaging and easy to get lost in it.
Both main characters were likable and well developed. And secondary characters also added to the storyline.
Author did a great job with Sasha’s character development through the story. She grew into one really strong and admirable woman. I loved the chemistry between her and Snow. It was insta-love but well written. I only wish there was more of them at the end, maybe some epilogue.

I’ve read one of the previous books in this series, so when i had to the chance to read this once, i couldn’t wait. still set in the same world of the bratva of st.petersburg. snow, a boxer brings to life the crimes and dirt of the underground fight scene. its gritty and bloody but you get drawn into the atmosphere. Sasha on the other-hand comes from a good family, sheltered upbringing and gets a crash course of what the underbelly of her home town has to offer. in the unlikeliest of places two people meet forming a connection that changes both their lives. amazing story, loved the dark element and constant edge to the book.
Snow by Sophie Lark was an Expressive Read!
Snow (Filip), the H, the Fighter, was ice cold until he started interacting with Sasha.
I enjoyed his strength, drive, and potential, he was a great choice for an Alpha Male.
Sasha, the h, was a compassionate character, full of integrity, and intelligence, and the possessor of a great heart!
Eventhough she initially came from privilege, she had no problem taking up the reigns when the situation called for it!
I liked how the relationship between Snow and Sasha developed, the glympse into the world of boxing, and the fact that the story had a HEA!

Sophie Lark has done it again with another fantastic addition to the colors of crime series! Although they can all be read as standalone with this great writer at the helm why miss the rest!. Gripped from the start, and drawn into the darkness of the Russian mafia once again by great descriptive scenes and characters that burst with chemistry. Dark, suspense filled, with hot steamy romance. not to be missed reading!

This story is set in Russia and revolves around fighting in MMA and the realities of the cruel Bratva. Sophie Lark vividly describes the world of MMA fighters, training and fighting in Russia. Sophie also sets this story around low-level Bratva who are uncaring ruthless men out for only their wants. SNOW is an undefeated small-time fighter trying to climb the MMA ladder. He has no life other than fighting but he is a good man. SASHA is a lovely, spoiled, recent graduate ready to start her career as a Doctor, however, due to her fathers’ bad choices she has to give up her dreams to serve the Bratva. SNOW and SASHAS story is a riveting scary love story that thankfully ends well. It is an intense read. Linda
