A Love Worth Fighting For… wanted anything. The problem is, she already belongs to a Bratva boss who plans to sell her virginity to the highest bidder.
I have to find a way to set her free.
I want to be her first, and her last…
“Snow” is a virgin dark mafia romance, Book 2 in the Underworld series. It’s an intense, violent, and sexually charged stand-alone novel. Complete with HEA and no cliff-hangers, plus enough steamy scenes to set your kindle on fire!
The Lark Notes:
Sasha and Snow are a secret favorite… He fights for her like no other hero I have ever written. Don’t miss this love story! – Sophiemore
It is 4:15am and I could not put this book down until I finished it. It is such an explosive, compelling story with unforgettable characters in both Snow and Sasha.
Their chemistry is electrifying, but that is only part of what kept me reading. I was entrenched in the whole underground fighting business and the criminal and inhumane machinations between the mafia bosses that Sasha’s future so sorely depended upon.
Our damaged, quiet but so very wonderful beneath the surface, Snow, was delicious in the barely contained fury rousing his protector role. He was also fighting in illegal underground mafia controlled matches yet could never compromise his integrity.
You will love this book for the characters, the anticipation of what will come next, but mostly for being able to follow the journey of Snow falling in love.

This is my first book by this author and it did not disappoint, the author brought the Bratva to life and sucked me in to this world that was so intense and amazing. The detail about underground fighting, the Bratva, and Russia was amazing and made things seem so realistic that I felt I was in the middle of it all. Snow was such an a great character, he is a boxer, and he comes off as cold and distance but underneath the façade he was a big softy but only towards his trainer, friend, and Sasha. Sasha was a character that may not have been part of the Bratva world but she showed amazing strength when it came to protect those she loved. I enjoyed these two together because Sasha brought the soft side out of Snow and they loved each other fiercely. I loved this book, this world the author created, and I definitely want to read more.
When Sasha returns home from medical school she learns that her family is in trouble with the Bratva. She starts to work for the Bratva to help pay off her family debts.
Snow is training hard to earn enough money to flee to America and continue boxing in hopes of winning the gold belt.
The connection Snow had with Sasha was all he needed to open up. She grounded him.
This was an amazing fast paced story. It was steamy but had me clinging to the edge of my seat the entire way through. Beautifully written and we’ll researched. I felt like I was living it with them.
Snow is such a sweetheart. He has a very grumpy exterior but he has a big teddy bear heart and I love that. I love how he as willing to bind himself to people he hated to protect Sasha is admirable. I am so happy that they got their happy ending. Snow may or may not also be in the running as my favorite book boyfriend lol
I read this book to continue with the Kingmakers series, and I am SO glad I did! I love Snow and Sasha’s story. I could see it all clearly and in real time. The suspense is amazing, and the steam… whew!
The story of Snow and Sasha was a little different than I expected when I first started it. The story wasn’t centered around mafia bosses, but a boxer named Snow. He does, however; fight in a mafia owned fighting ring. Snow has a perfect fighting record and he’s taking place in a tournament where he could win a lot of money and enjoy the rest of his life. Sacha is a girl who just got her medical degree and was about to start working when she suddenly has the pay off her father‘s debt that he owed to the mafia. She becomes the doctor for all the boxers who are hurt. This is how she meets Snow.
As much as I love the story, I didn’t feel a connection with the couple like I usually do in the rest of Sophie‘s books. It doesn’t mean I didn’t like this book at all. It is just that these were not my favorite couple, although I am glad they got their happy ending.
Unlike the first book in the series, this one didn’t have any humor in it at all. It was pretty sad, dark, and bloody. Sophie did a good job with her knowledge of the boxing ring and how it works. I feel like I learn something new every time I read a book of hers. She is one author who does her research before she delves into a story.
SNOW (Colors of Crime Book 2) By Sophie Lark
This is a definite worthy addition to the Colors of Crime series. I could not put this one down after I started it. Snow and Sasha are a great couple with burning hot chemistry. Snow is a heavyweight fighter. At the start he was very much standoffish, with high morals and is very reserved, but it doesn’t take him a long time to become so likable, so sensitive and a man in love. Sasha is a Doctor fresh out of med school, who gets blackmailed to work as a private physician for the bratva. There is plenty of angst, drama, tension, intrigue, twists and turns. Sophie Lark is running at the top of the bratva game. This is a 5 star read.

Owing a debt to a Bratva boss seems so dark and hopeless. What could be worse? Owing that debt to the boss that is also negotiating with another boss. It definitely seems bleak and hopeless with no way out. If one doesn’t get you, the other one will.
Sasha, fresh out of med school, offers her medical services as a way to pay down the debt her father has accrued.
Snow is in an underground boxing ring run by the mob and is expected to walk their line.
Hopefully these two opposites can help each other get out for good and get on with their lives.
This whole book had my heart racing and I couldn’t put it down! It was dark but so impressive and clever. There was a gut punch or two (pun may or may not have been intended) for a fabulously dramatic story!
(I was fortunate enough to receive a complimentary copy of this book from Hidden Gems.)
For me, this book got off to a bit of a slow start. It took the first third of the book for the couple to even meet. However, once all of the background was laid out, this book blossomed. Snow and Sasha went through a lot to get to their HEA, but when they finally made it, it was heartwarming.

Sasha is an innocent – a good daughter fresh out of med school. When she returns home she finds out her family is in serious financial trouble and owes the Bratva/mafia. She negotiates with them on behalf of her father. They own her now. WIll she ever be free? Snow’s life is boxing. He’s loyal and focused. His goal is to make enough money to continue his boxing dreams in America. When Snow meets Sasha will his protective nature be their downfall or their salvation? This story has rich details – the description of the fight scenes puts the reader in the midst of the action and Krupin’s house sounds like it’s right out of a movie. The start of “Snow” is dark & violent with a sense of foreboding. As it progresses there is hope with themes of self-sacrifice and compassion. Likable characters and alternating POV provide an emotional punch to this gripping love story!

Just ok. Enjoyable read but some parts felt rushed. The characters didn’t have a connection. Something was missing. My favorite in the series is Violet.

Two lovers fight for the chance of a new life far away from Russian Bratva!
by sewsummore
Sasha had just completed her studies to become a doctor when she was forced to barter her skills as a doctor for her father’s life. It was in this role that she met “Snow” for the first time. He was a fighter in an underground fighting ring and had been hurt while fighting. As much as she disliked fighting, she could not resist Snow, and before long, they were lovers. I found this a compelling read as the two lovers fight for the chance of a new life far away from Russian Bratva in the USA. Despite their very different upbringing, these two lovers deserved to have their HEA.

I’m loving this series. Each book is better than the last. Snow has both a ton of action and a great live story. Sophia Lark has a way of packing so much story into one novel. You feel like you know everything about the characters by the end. Snow and Sasha are such unique characters. They are contrasts. Snow is brutal but gentle. Sasha is gritty and pampered. They make for a great couple to read. I highly recommend it.

Sacrificing yourself for our family
Snow is the sixth book in the Colors of Crime and is the story of Snow and Sasha. It is like the others in the series in that it is a nice weave of assassination, mystery, drama, suspense, Mafia, action and more than enough twists in the story-line to make you dizzy. Don’t let Snow’s nickname fool you as he is one very cold and calculated man, emotionally locked up tight. But just like snow when it freezes he is tough, jagged and can be deadly. Sasha had her own dreams and they were just within her grasp. But life, really her family, put her into a position that she had no other way to deal with than to sacrifice herself and everything she wanted as her future.
This book is well written and was quite interesting. The characters of Snow and Sasha are both interesting but together they just did not seem to have the connection that I had expected. This may be partially because they do not cross paths, even though they are in the same “world”, until well into the story. I am sorry as I really wanted to like Snow but for me this was a good book but not an excellent book.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
An amazing fast pace book six in the Colors of Crime series! It is an engaging, well written, emotionally deep, witty, and quite enjoyable on the edge of your seat page turner that is packed with suspense, drama, danger, and shocking twists and turns. Likeable, strong, and well developed characters; the chemistry between them is instant and off the charts. A recommended read!

First thing that comes to mind is WOW!! Sophie Lark has pulled me straight into another fascinating read! I was hooked word for word right from the start. She has a way of creating characters that you instantly connect to and stories that make you feel like you are right there in the midst of it. She is able to bring every character to life and each one ties in perfectly to the story. Not only does she have a brilliant imagination but her writing style is amazing as well. Her writing allows the stories to flow so easily, and I love that you never know what to expect.
Snow has everything I expected from a Dark Mafia read!! It contains romance, steamy hot scenes, action, suspense, and darkness.
Snow and Sasha are incredible characters and I love everything about them. The chemistry they have is undeniable. They come from totally different worlds but are totally perfect for one another. I enjoyed seeing the relationship build between them and how they never denied their feelings for one another. I definitely was not ready to let go of Snow and Sasha, because I just absolutely adore them; however, I thought the ending was awesome and not at all rushed.
This is my second book by Sophie Lark and definitely not my last. I loved this one so much that now I HAVE to read the rest of the books in the Colors of Crime Series.

An amazing and intense story that’s captivating with strong characters and a story line that’s well written. The twists and turns keep you guessing as to what happens in the end. The author does a fantastic job pulling the reader in and holding their attention until they read the last word.

I did enjoy the story line of this book. I liked the characters and I liked seeing both points of view. There were a couple parts that had holes in the story that made you feel like you missed something, but not enough to stop you from reading on.

After reading this book I had to take a little time to compose myself and get my thoughts clear in my head before I put them in a review.
Wow this book was amazingly written. Once I started I couldn’t put it down till I was finished. This book has twists and turns you don’t know what’s happening. will they all get there happily ever after or will it all go wrong. To find out what happens go buy the book. You won’t be disappointed I wasn’t.
