Good vs Bad.Light vs Dark.Right vs Wrong. There are always two sides to every coin.Josiah ‘Liner’ Paldecki knew the moment he laid eyes on her that there was something different about her. Something special. Something so unique that it practically poleaxed him the moment that their eyes met.Except, the next time he saw her, it was like she was a different woman altogether. There was a blankness to … woman altogether. There was a blankness to her eyes that concerned him. An air of menace about her that honestly scared him to death. He’s more than man enough to admit it.
At first, Liner thinks it’s because she’s bi-polar, or possibly psychopathic.
Then he realizes the truth.
That there isn’t a single person that exhibits such different personalities, but two.
Two identical twin sisters, both completely different, yet exactly the same.
One with a soul, and one without.
One that has his heart, and one that only wants to destroy it.

Again, Lani Lynn Vale, blows it out of the park! This series is absolutely FABULOUS!!
FINALLY we get Liner’s story. Always wondered what was up with him, well, let me tell you, he is a freaking amazing man! He notices the little things, that not everyone else will. We met him a long time ago, but finally get to see what makes him tick, and it is that Tara with the blue eyes.
Tara with the blue eyes is the polar opposite of the real deal. She is caring, soft, and loving. She is desperate, afraid and stuck, until Liner figures it all out and DAMN that is the best part!
This is book 8 and I hope that there will be lots more of these guys to swoon over while I’m reading!
Ever hear curiosity killed the cat ?”Well”, for Liner that is partly true.Liner for sometime noticed something was wrong with one of the members women that he could not just put his finger on what it was and years later he is still obsessing until it leads him on a path to satisfy his spidey sense which leads him to Theo and Linny.
This story was a very emotional one especially sense one of the main character’s had been tortured in one sense or another her entire life but, there had been a few brief few days that they knew what it was like to know what love and happiness was all about.
As the story unfolds it had tons of drama, suspicions, twists and turns and was about love a sacrifices and finding love for a couple when neither were expecting it, but would change three lives forever. So touching…..
Theo-We found her to be sweet kind, caring, brave, loving, and a women who had been abused for 20 plus years and yet still remained pure of heart.
Liner-We just loved him! We found him to be caring, loving, sexy, protective, determined and a bloodhound when it came to obtaining knowledge and a man for once in his life is going to follow his heart and where it leads him.
Overall this was a great read for us that had a ton of things going on to keep us engaged and turning the pages. As the story unfolds more and more secrets come to light and three people who deserve to be together need to overcome some huge obstacles and one heck of a rocky road in order for them to obtained their happily ever afters and to truly grasps all that their heart desires.
“Well done”! “Our favorite kind of story”!
Another great read that goes into the keeper pile for us to be read over and over again.Lani Lynn Vale is truly one of our favorite authors and each and every time gives us character’s to fall in love and each and every time we do just that when she creates a new story for us to dive right in and we do it all over again!
Lani had me falling inlove with beard man and yes thats including Liner… A man with kind personality, sexy like a walking hot donut? Hmmm…
‘Snitches get stitches’ were a struggle for Theo .. it was breaking my heart..
The story was easy to read.. classy sexy and yes beard man rocks 🙂
Title: Snitches Get Stitches
Author: Lani Lynn Vale
Publication Date: April 9, 2019
I really didn’t want to read this one; I wanted Liner’s story but I wasn’t excited about the whole evil twin trope.
I should have known Lani would make it interesting and page turning. The twists and reveals were nothing less than amazing and the flow was perfect. Soooo happy I decided to read this and took the roller coaster ride my emotions went through.
Josiah “Liner” Paldecki is a member of the Bear Bottom MC and also works for his dad at Ampere Electric. Two years ago he believes he sees a woman named Tara Threadgill but then he sees her eyes are not the same and neither is her personality and there is something that draws him in but he doesn’t see her again.
Theodora “Theo” Threadgill lives in fear of her family and she abides by what they have set out for her in order to keep her brother Tyson and daughter Linnie safe. Deep down she wants to escape from them but knows there is no where she can go where they will be safe.
When Liner follows his gut he realizes that Tara has a twin and how her life is being controlled. Can Liner keep her safe from her family when it counts the most and how far is he willing to go keep her safe?
This was a great book with some twists that took me by surprise when it came to how crazy Theo’s family was.
I really liked Liner and I liked how he knew right away that something was off with Tara when she came in 2 years ago. I also liked that he never really gave up trying to find her.
My heart just broke for Theo and every time she talked about her past my heart just shattered more and more. I can’t believe the things that she had to endure at the hands of her sister. I completely understood why she stayed at The Bridge asylum as she knew she had to keep Linnie and Tyson safe.
I love the group “Free” and I truly hope we have them out in the world as they are so needed. I liked that the men heard Theo’s story to understand that she truly wasn’t Tara and deserved a chance to start over.
Tara was just so crazy and it definitely made me nervous when she would be showing up although I was surprised at what went down with her.
The end was so intense and freaky for sure!! I was shocked at what Theo’s dad did and I was sad for what we learned in the hospital with Theo!
The end was awesome although I was disappointed with what happened with Tyson.
Josiah (Liner) Paldecki hates Tara for what she put his friend and MC brother Rome and their son through. Though on one of their visits he can’t let go of a visit they had where he felt Tara with surprisingly blue eyes was a different person.
He begins an investigation of his own and soon discovers a horrifying truth, a twin sister, Theo, who has been abused for the majority of her life. She really has a very sick family. It is very heart-wrenching when she mentions they types of abuse she had throughout the book.
Mother nature helps them out with a tornado that leads to Theo escaping and Liner takes from there. But no way does the story stop there. There is lots of twists and turns and wonderful intrigue in this story. My best kind of read.
There are wonderful secondary characters in this books that first give Liner a hard time because he’s helping out who they thought was Tara out first and then because he is a ‘brother’ they have his back no matter what. That is what real family is.
The only disappointment I had in this book was that her brother, Tyson was killed. I was really hoping he’d get his happily ever after too. He did a lot of protect both Theo and Linnie.
Wow, there was a lot going on in this story! I love Theo & Liner & Linnie & enjoyed the story for the most part. It’s really got a lot of sad, tho. It starts out strong, with their second meeting & him helping her escape her situation. There are holes in the story line that were … difficult at times. However, I loved their relationship and conversations.
: )
Snitches get Stitches was another Lani Lynn Vale hit where the banter and sass between the characters had me so addicted to their story. Liner and Theo were sexy, honest and so raw. I could not get enough of their story.
Without giving anything away this this story had alot of mystery, intensity and struggle. Theo sacrifices so much for her daughter having to deal with her family. I love how Liner was so protective and yet alpha but he always a soft spot for her.
Overall in this story, Vale amped up the intensity with her powerful words in Snitches get Stitches. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future. 4 stars! ~Ratula
I’ve been preparing myself for the shitshow that would be brought into the story when a certain crazy family and a certain nasty woman became a huge part of the plot line, freely committing reprehensible acts and spouting insensitive and malicious words simply because they feel they have the right to do so regardless of the law or the idea of basic human kindness.
Although readers haven’t met Liner’s leading lady, it’s clear that she’s been dealt quite a miserable hand in life…not only because of her family members and their incessant abuse, threats, and neglect, but because the toil it’s taken on her body, on her mind, and on her heart is evident when we first learn who she is and what’s at stake for the one person she’ll sacrifice everything for to protect.
Ever since meeting Liner in the previous books of Vale’s Bear Bottoms Guardians MC series, I’ve appreciated his honesty, his protective nature, and his ability to suss out the truth when it’s most needed, and the way he works his way into Theo’s life is fitting for a number of important reasons that you’ll have to read the book to find out about. The way Liner handles Theo with care while also exuding his alpha male personality proves that he’s exactly who Theo needs in her corner and I loved the slow burn of their relationship and the fact that Liner knew what path to take with her, easing up when necessary and pushing a bit more when it matters most.
Snitches Get Stitches is filled with over the top situations, and while the believability factor is definitely not high, I’ve read enough of Lani Lynn Vale’s stories to suspend a bit of realism in order to heighten the events unraveling in a fictional setting and story line, and let me tell you, the bizarre and extreme fit perfectly with the hot and destructive mess from one of the most hellish families anyone could have.
4 Poison Apples
This is the eighth book in the Bear Bottom Guardians MC series. It is a stand alone, but if you read Rome’s book, you’ll see how bad Tara really is. That’s just the start and this book just expands and gets more in depth. You will cry, ugly cry with Rome’s book. Just a warning.
This is Liner’s story.
This review will be short and vague. I would hate to give anything away.
The things that the main character went through were beyond horrible.
My heart broke for her.
There were parts of this story that caused such a mix of emotions at the same time. Happiness, sadness and piss all at the same time.
This is one of Lani’s best books.
“Hey girl. You’re looking like a King Cake. Let me put a baby in you.” -T-shirt
A story of deception, strength and perseverance. With the next book in the Bear Bottom Guardians MC series, we center on Liner. We’ve seen a bit of him off and on during the previous books and know he’s a lineman for the power company. We learn more about his job and set off from the start with him searching for something he thinks he saw. The story line is a bit out there, but it reels our attention in quickly and leaves us having to follow along to see what’s going to come of the madness. It wasn’t my favorite of the series by far, but it was a good read that held my attention and gave me the happy ending in the end.
Josiah “Liner” Paldecki can’t get a woman out of his mind. He knows who she was supposed to be, but there was something different about her … different eyes, different attitude, almost a kindness that he knows was never there before. He has to find her, to see if what he thinks might be the case is really the case. Only he has no clue the secrets that have been hidden or the injustices that have been committed. When he finds out, there’s nothing that could stop him from helping her … and making her his along the way has to happen. If only he could keep her.
Josiah meets Theo and instantly is attracted to her. The next time he sees her she’s like someone totally different. This story has mystery, some confusing parts but is a good read once you get into it. You will definitely need to pay attention while reading to keep up.
Josiah ‘Liner’ Paldecki hated Tara with every fiber of his being for what he did to his friend and MC brother Rome and their son. One moment niggled in Liner’s brain though about Tara and it was the radiant blue eyes that did not match nor the look of compassion he had never witnessed on her. Liner is like a dog with a bone though and he uncovers a horrid truth surrounding a twin named Theo.
I don’t want to give anymore then the basic as this story needs to unfold while you read it. It was probably one of the more darker of Lani Lynn Vale’s books. I absolutely loved this one, it is a tear jerker to be sure. This is one of these books you pick up and don’t put down until the very end and then you can’t stop thinking about it.
Right from the beginning of this book I was turned upside down! Nothing was as I expected it to be. I have to say that this story was one of the most intriguing I’ve read in the series and LLV did a great job of using the unexpected.
There’s really not a lot I can tell you, seriously, without giving away some of the main points of the story and all the secrets that are imperative to this storyline. I can say, though, that I truly enjoyed watching this story unfold. Not only did I enjoy the journey for both of these characters to find love, but I also wanted to see the truth exposed!
This was definitely one of my favorite stories so far. There was a whole range of everything I love in a story: mystery, love, all of the amazing characters that I desperately want to be part of my life, along with this mystery element that really pulled it all together. Loved it!
Only Lani can turn a story on its tale and have you invested more than you thought was possible. This story was truly unexpected and so magnificent that I couldn’t help but be pulled in. Theo is a woman that you can’t help but feel sorry for the things that she has been put through is devastating and to still wanna come out on top, BRAVO. Liner a man that we all need is something spectacular and I wish I knew a ALPHA like him or at least someone in my life I can compare him too. This book is definitely not for the faint of heart but is so worth its wait. It’s action packed, and totally not what you will expect but you will love it as much as me, please believe me!!!
I absolutely loved this book!!! Give me all the words!!! What an enjoyable ride!!
This one is like being on a crazy ride thru the entire story! Elizabeth @ Carolina Chic’s Read
This is the story that everyone has been waiting for, you are not going to see any of this coming. This is knock your socks off good! I cried twice this time… Lani Lynn Vale seems to be getting all my tears this year. Liner is like all of our boys and falls fast for the girl and gets super protective! His dog “Monster” is a dangerous teddy bear of a beast poodle too!
5 Stars of Give Me More!
This may be the shortest review I have every written for one of Lani’s books. There’s just SO FREAKING MUCH to Snitches Get Stitches that will blow your mind I don’t want to risk even slightly ruining that for anyone. This book is one you should go into blind and with your mind totally open because Liner and his woman’s story is one that will keep you gasping in shock, on the edge of your seat in suspense and will entirely steal your heart from practically the first page.
Liner seems to see what everyone around him has missed. His determination and his huge heart play such a big role in how absolutely beautiful the story he has with his woman is. The only thing that just might outshine how magnificent Liner is, is the strength of the woman he falls in love with. She has endured so much that many of us couldn’t even begin to imagine I didn’t know how she was still standing.
These two have a connection that runs so deep nothing and I mean absolutely nothing can break it. Where his love brings her back to life her love drives him to be an even better man than he already was.
Another winner
Liner is convinced that Tara is suffering from a mental illness because each time he’s seen her she’s been combative and has no time for anyone else, except for two times that he’s encountered her where she’s been nice and accommodating! His hunch is that Tara has an identical twin sister and he sets off to investigate! This leads him to inserting himself in non-Tara’s life which causes a string of events to unfold
Theo’s story will break your heart but will win you over much like she did Liner Another winner by LLV as far as I’m concerned and if I could’ve rated higher than 5 I would have!
A very different story this time, and hard to review with out giving away too many spoilers. Personally I liked this unusual tale, the outcome was fairly predictable but I enjoyed it none the less. The hero was a strong character but the heroine came across a little weak even though she had endured plenty.
Not a favourite but still loving the series and looking forward for more!
