I loved this story with Molly & Seth. They both deal with a busybody in their community & work together to figure out why the person has it out for them. Seth was so cute, in his shy manner but also taking pride in his work as a firefighter. Molly owns a bookstore & wants a romance like in the books she reads. I love Pine Valley, these characters & having some O’Reilly’s in there too.
Molly is the sweet, quirky owner of Reading Grounds, a bookstore Cafe in Pine Valley and is new to town making her fair game for the towns mean ,busybody Evelyn Shirley. Evelyn posts all her opinions and what she thinks is goin on to Fat ebook, whether its the truth or not.Once you are in Evelyn’s crosshairs she doesn’t give up till she finds a new victim. Seth Spangler is a hot, shy firefighter who keeps going into the store to ask Molly out and ends up sneaking around trying to help her get something on Evelyn. What begins as an attempt to get Evelyn off of Molly ends up putting both Seth and Molly in her crosshairs. This is a fun, sweet, sexy sexy must read.Sometimes what appears to be the worst thing to happen turns out to be the best.
This novella by Stephanie St. Klaire was delightful. While Molly and Seth are hanging out trying to get the goods on a cranky old lady who keeps putting posts on Facebook making Molly look bad, they are caught in delicate situation after delicate situation. They are “just friends”, but the heat gets turned up with every stakeout they attempt. The hunky firefighter has been waiting for things to heat up, but Molly still insists they’re just friends. Will he be able to convince Molly that there is more between them before they are caught totally naked in the car? Maybe they’ll catch the busybody totally naked. Ew! Let’s not picture that.
Ms. St. Klaire is a great new writer who has the ability to do it all! So far she’s shown us mystery, suspense, romance and humor and I have loved it all! If you haven’t read her books yet, YOU NEED TO!
Seth has been crushing on Molly ever seen she’s moved to town. Seth is a hot albeit shy firefighter. He keeps going into Molly’s bookstore to ask her out, but only returns with books.
He gets the perfect opportunity to spend time with Molly and get to know her better. Molly is being targeted by the town busybody, Evelyn, and Seth is going to help Molly find a way to fight fire with fire.
Sneaking around is a highly entertaining and hilarious read that I just couldn’t put down. Cady O’Reilly and her posse deserve a special mention, their antics had me in splits.
A book I will happily recommend.
Quick read full of wit and humour! What happens in a small town is rarely kept secret and I loved getting to meet the sweet and not so much sweet people of Pine Valley! Molly and Seth are a funny duo and everything that keeps on going wrong around them is very entertaining. Molly worked hard to make it and she loves her new business and most of the residents of her new hometown but a new beau and a mean old lady are two things she’ll need to deal with in order to keep her happiness in order. This story is like a combination between the struggle of being a newbie and fit in totally in a small place and the fun new adventures it can bring.
I really enjoyed this story and looking forward for the next in tow; Bed buddies !
Another enjoyable read by SSK. A fast paced read with suspense, a great love story and the town gossip (Evil) Evelyn who has the #Rumorhasit Facebook page. This story has you laughing and wanting more. Molly~ who’s trying to start her life fresh in Pine Valley & fins the love of her life. Then there is Seth~ a firefighter who falls for Molly right away, has you rooting for their fairytale ending. I loved this story!
Loved this little small town romance. Molly and Seth were a great couple and I enjoyed watching them fall in love while trying to solve a little mystery. It was fun watching them try to figure out how they were always caught in compromising situations without them realizing it. You could feel the attraction between them and when they finally got together it was great. I can’t wait to read more from the crew in Pine Valley.
Sneaking Around is a great novella! The characters are entertaining & well thought out. The plot moved quickly but you are able to develop a connection with the characters as you read. This book had me feeling the whole gamut of emotions. I felt sorry for Molly about Evelyn picking on her. I laughed out loud at some of the escapades Molly & Seth were involved in. Just the thought of the little grey haired ladies can make me giggle! There was even a scene that brought me close to tears. Totally loved this & would recommend it to everyone.
This story is a fun read! I loved Seth and Molly’s connection, it was sweet and sexy. All the shenanigans they get caught doing in the small town of Pine Valley had me LOLing throughout. An easy read that you can lose yourself in and have a few laughs.
While trying to out-snoop the town’s self-appointed gossip, Molly and Seth enjoy getting to know each other, even if it ends in more fodder for the gossip’s scurrilous online postings. Just as things are heating up between Molly and Seth, Molly’s ex shows up and the rumormonger attacks again. Will this be the final straw that strikes at the heart of their budding relationship or will Seth be able to save the day and their blossoming love? And, just what is the story behind “Evil” Shirley’s mysterious behavior?
Looking for a romance that is fun and quick but totally disarming? This is it! Molly and Seth may fumble a bit when it comes to their personal interactions, but the outcomes are often outright funny and always captivating. This is a delightfully enchanting love story you don’t want to miss. The characters are appealing and charming, and the storyline is often quite humorous and disarming but always engaging. It’s a joy to read from beginning to end!
I am loving this new series, #Rumorhasit. Let the busy body judgmental posting begin so I can laugh and laugh. I know I shouldn’t laugh at the expense as others, but this is okay because it is all make believe.
Although; if Pine Valley was real, I would be there faster than the next book in the series could be downloaded. The residents of Pine Valley are across between Mayberry and the best small towns featured in the Hallmark Christmas movies. The stores are so quaint.
Can I order a yummy sandwich from Savory and Sweet with a pastry to go? I could happily order a Lumberjack (peanut butter mocha) from Reading Grounds, cozy up in a corner and read another book by Stephanie St. Klaire. Complete bliss!!! Fantasies might not come true but the story will have you laughing and thanking your lucky stars that Evelyn isn’t stalking you.
Evelyn has a wicked tongue and a vivid imagination, one she has no problem sharing on her Facebook page, #rumorhasit. Evelyn has her sights on Molly, the newest resident of Pine Valley. When Molly and Seth, her crush, decide to fight fire with fire, the story heats up. They add more flame to Evelyn’s page.. Really embarrassing moments increase and the sexual tension is HOT.
Making this story even more of a blast were the Sexy seniors, aka Cady’s ladies. First off, Cady is an O’Reilly, hello heavenly crossover moment, pitter patter of my heart for Brother’s Keeper. Secondly, these ladies have no love for Evelyn and want to see her put in her place. They are just the ladies to do it, or die of laughter trying. Me laughing, them not so much. Add small town into the equation and all my happiness within the pages has been quantified.
Sneaking Around, Stephanie St. Klaire latest release, has her writing an enjoyable and humorous romance novella. Her writing talent shines with well-written characters who are passionate and have entertaining personalities. I love that the lead male character is a bit awkward but is a true strong, sexy, gentleman. The couple bonds during their unsuccessful super-sleuth outings where they are usually the ones getting caught instead of catching Evelyn. There is drama, humor, steamy romance, and of course, happily ever after. Well done!
This is a fun read. Molly and Seth make a cute couple. There are laugh out loud moments. The town busy body stirs up trouble and Molly and Seth can never manage to catch her out. The real fun though is caused by the bitty brigade. This is a well written easy read.
If your in the mood for a laugh out loud funny, Sneaking Around will not disappoint. The antics that go on in the small town of Pine Valley will have you in tears. You will fall head over heels for Molly and Seth.
Perfect little rom-com with great characters and lots of heart.
This story was a really great read that I truly enjoyed. I belly laughed at the antics and amateur sleuthing of Molly and Seth as they embarked on revenge against a mean spirited biddy whom seemed to thrive on posting untrue dirt about Molly on the town’s Facebook page. They of course were aided by a few of the town’s grey haired ladies who had their own dirt on Evelyn Shirley. Only thing is, Evelyn seems to still be the only one scoring points. Can Seth and Molly’s budding romance endure Evelyn’s meddling or will she prove too much for them and their growing relationship to handle?
