Take a road trip to St. Helena Vineyard and fall in love. Fall in love with the town and the people. There’s no way you won’t once you step foot into the town. Sneaking up on Love folds you into the pages on the story seamlessly that you feel like you are a part of the story instead of just reading one. This love story is just straight up sweet and adorable. A perfect mix of sleuthing and canoodleing. Plus the members of “The Book Club” aka the gossip gang are hilarious. The shenanigans the whole group gets into all based on the judgmentalness of a certain old lady in the town. And that’s all I’ll say about that, because that is all that needs to be said. If I could give this more than 5 stars I would for sure.
Molly Sexton has wanted nothing more than to open her book store. She moves to St. Helena in hopes that her dream will come true. What she doesn’t account for is her newest friendships as well as a cranky busy body who is out to get her. Thankfully, she is alligned with one of St. Helena’s firefighters, Seth Spangler. Together they are out to uncover the the truth behind the nosey nitwit who seems to want to make them the talk of the town.
I really enjoyed reading this story. There were many times I laughed out loud. I absolutely loved the Bitty Brigade and couldn’t wait to see what they would be up to next!
I absolutely loved this story! It just served to remind me why I love this author. This is Stephanie St. Klaire at her zany, quirky best!
Molly just wants to run her book store/coffee shop in peace. Seth, the sexy but shy firefighter, will find any excuse to be near Molly. Unfortunately, elderly gossip queen, Evelyn, has set her sights on them.
What follows is a whacky, crazy adventure with a cast of mostly lovable characters. I highly recommend this book!
5.0 out of 5 stars Fresh Starts can get “hot”
Format: Kindle Edition
Loved this book by one of my favorite authors. Seth is a “hot” fireman and has eyes for Molly who runs the book store. But when the town’s busybody catches them in some comprising photos that she has posted to facebook, Molly and Seth thinks it time to outdo the busybody. Can an ex of Molly’s showing up put a hamper in the fireworks for Seth and Molly?
If you are looking for a fun read this is it. The characters are relatable. Lots of humor, of course some bumps in the road to the hea but nothing heavy. Just enough heat and plenty of romance. Woul recommend

This is a brilliant romance from Stephanie St Klaire
The characters are well developed and engaging.
The storyline is heartwarming and keeps me hoping. Love the ‘Rumor has it’ series.
Stephanie St Klaire hit another homerun with this story. This is why she’s on my TBR list.
Newcomer and owner of Reading Grounds a bookstore/coffee shop Molly is the newest Pine Valley resident that Evelyn “Evil” Shirley targets on her social media page #RumorHasIt.
After Evelyn’s first post about Molly smexy Fire Fighter and friend Seth stops by Reading Grounds as Molly is closing up shop for the day to see how she’s holding up. “Evil” who seems to be everywhere at once manages to capture an innocent picture of Seth double checking the locks on the door to shop and posts it on her page the next day.
Seth and Molly decide to follow the adage “If you can’t beat them, join them” and make an anonymous page called #RumorAlsoHasIt and try to catch Evelyn sneaking around to wherever she goes late at night. Somehow “Evil” manages to always stay one step ahead of them posting various pictures of them with her snooty comments.
With help from Cady O’Reilly and her friends Molly and Seth get fed information on how to try and catch Evelyn and beat her at her own game.
Read Sneaking Around to find out how Seth & Molly’s relationship evolves and if they can finally one up Evelyn!
Molly is new in town and owns a Bookstore and Coffee Shop. Just for being new, she has caught the wrath of Evelyn, the town gossip monger and has become fodder for her Facebook Page #RumorHasIt. Almost daily there is something nasty about Molly or her bookstore posted. Seth, the handsome firefighter has had it bad for Molly ever since he first laid eyes on her but is too tongue tied to ask her out. So he just comes in every day and buys coffee and books.
Seth and Molly decide to team up and be sleuths and spy on evil Evelyn to get some dirt on her. Well, this is where the story really gets good! Everything they do backfires in such a crazy way! Stakeouts, brainstorming sessions, drinking, – they end up with egg on their faces and more posts about them on Facebook lol. It was hilarious!! The mystery is why is Evelyn so hateful and what is she hiding? The slow burn between Seth and Molly was pleasant to experience. This book is funny and well written and it was an enjoyable afternoon read. I would highly recommend this book!

Seth and Molly’s story was per-fec-tion.
I was so extremely endeared to Seth throughout the ENTIRE book. He was so tongue tied and just so adorable whenever he was around Molly, I couldn’t help but love him more and just continue cheering him on.
Despite the rumor mill in the Pine Valley, can these two get their HEA? Loved this book! It was filled with humor, heat, and an overall heartwarming story.
Plus the fact that Molly has my dream job- owning a book store- just made me want to be her BFF, or just be her. Haha. You’ll really enjoy this fun story hy Stephanie St Klaire!
Sneaking around is a fairly quick read, but it’s enjoyable. After Evelyn starts rumors about Molly on Facebook, Molly takes it upon herself to dig up dirt on Evelyn to get even with her. Seth agrees to help, and the pair undergo a series of undercover missions to find out just where Evelyn goes every night.
The antics of Molly and Seth were funny, and they always seemed to get caught. Evelyn always seems to be one up on the pair, but that doesn’t stop them. It was cute how Seth, who got tongue-tied with Molly, considered them more like dates because he couldn’t bring himself to ask her out. They were cute together, and I liked how they finally take the higher road when it comes to the gossiper.
There’s a small amount of drama in the book, but for the most part it’s filled with laugh out loud moments. If you’re looking for a quick read with enjoyable characters and plenty of antics, you should give Sneaking Around a read.
Molly and Seth are on a mission to give the town gossip a dose of her own medicine. Their mischievous sleuth outings seem to add to the gossip and the town gossip continues to slip through their fingers. Complete with a gray-haired mafia, this story will having you laughing out loud. Who knew detective work could could be so hot.

In this book, we have Molly, who is new to town, is also the new owner of local coffee / book store. She loves holding the local ladies and book club, even though they barely talk about books.
Seth is a local fight fighter and has a thing for Molly. He is always going into her shop to say hi. Finally he has enough courage to talk with her longer. And of course, the town busy body Evelyn has words to say!
Evelyn Shirley – the towns gossip, created a Facebook page, ‘Rumor has it.’ Through this page she usually attacks the new people in town and some that have been around awhile. However, no one is safe from her gossip rath.
Seth and Molly team up to try to bring down Evelyn however nothing they try actually works. Some of the towns elderly group of women try to help out also by bringing up things from Evelyn’s past. Still nothing works.
Will Seth and Molly be able to take down Evelyn or will Evelyn win? Will Evelyn break them up before they even can a relationship start?
I did receive a free ARC book from the author. I am freely leaving a honest review.
great quick read!!!
After being roasted on Facebook by the town busybody Evelyn, Molly needs to fight fire with fire. Things escalate when the town busybody catches Seth, a local firefighter, locking up after hours at Molly’s store. Hilarity ensue as the couple try to one up Evelyn to get her to stop.
I love this book and the couple trying to find out what is going on. definitely a must read.
Every small town has a trouble making Gossip, and Pine Valley is no exception. Molly is on her way to being a successful business owner if she can get past the town nosey body. While she navigates being the new person in town she also is navigating a new relationship with Seth,a local sexy firefighter. For as many fires as she starts for him, she also leaves him speechless and nervous. Their’s is a budding relationship of hilarious calamities and a trouble making old lady with no one else in her sights. This funny, sexy, light hearted read will leave you wanting more! I can’t wait to see what Ms St Klaire’s Bed Buddies is like!
I love reading Sneaking Around. Following Seth and Molly as they take dating to hilarious outcomes. Trying to catch the local busy body so Molly can find the happiness she came to Pine Valley for. With Seth’s help she finds it, in more ways than one. I love this very funny book by Stephanie St. Klaire, and look forward to reading more books in this series.
I loved this book and as it was by Stephanie I couldn’t put it down. always a great world builder and keeping you enthralled throughout the story
What a hilarious book! Stephanie St. Klaire shows her rom-com capabilities in Sneaking Around! This is the story of Seth, a fireman, and Molly, the owner of a bookstore, both living and working in Pine Valley. Molly comes under attack on a Facebook website called RUMOR HAS IT. Half-truths are posted depicting Molly in a less-than-stellar light. Seth and Molly, with the help of the geriatric friends, set out to even the score. The plot is based on what transpires when every plan backfires. This is rom-com at its finest! I cannot wait to read the next book in this series.
Seth and Molly. What a fun pair! I want a “Seth”, the hot fireman, for my very own. Molly can come along too if she supplies the coffee and books. I needed this book right now and it kept me smiling and laughing. I love SSK and can’t wait for the next book.
Oh my goodness!
I always forget how much I love small towns and the writing of Stephanie St. Klaire when she’s not off killing people 😉
Molly, her friends, and the whole town had me in stitches! Ooooh, and that Evelyn … “Evelyn Shirley made the Grinch Who Stole Christmas look like a Whoville saving Superman.” The shenanigans this group gets into are absolutely hilarious. There’s a great balance of laughter, mischievous activities, love, and all the things that make a small town (and a story) fabulous!
Loving this series!
