Where there’s SMOKE, there’s fire… out,
She leaves without a trace.
But when she’s in danger,
I’ll move mountains to get her back.
SIREN
He lied.
He played me
He broke me.
I refuse to stick around,
And be his fool.
He may be strong, rugged, and perfect,
But this SIREN waits for no man’s call.
He may have lit my fire,
But no amount of SMOKE can rekindle this smolder.

Easy five stars. Action packed from beginning to end with sometimes friends and sometimes enemies. Both characters were well developed and realistic. The story was fast paced and exciting. While this is part of a series, this will stand alone (you’re missing out if you skip the other stories though). I always expect and get a well written story that doesn’t have any TSTL moments or things that could be resolved by a conversation. Excellent read with no negatives at all other than you won’t be able to stop til you reach the end so plan accordingly.
WOWWWWW! What a great addition to the “Invincibles” series. I loved this one! Smoke and Siren are great together with undeniable chemistry. This book is fast paced, very intrigue and with incredible twists. The story is nicely developed and the characters strong. I enjoyed every bit of this story from beginning to end. I love the mystery, suspense and twists to this story. What a wonderful setting and story. WOW!! This is probably my favorite story so far from this writer.
Siren works for the Irish Military Intelligence, she sometimes gets loaned out if needed on special ops. Smoke used to work for the CIA but now he freelances his services. These two have a love/hate relationship but are still able to work great together. They are working together on assignment when Siren is shot and loses her memory, she believes that she’s in love with Smoke. When he is told to go along with what Siren believes he takes her to his home to take care of her.
This story was well-written, well well-developed and had an engaging storyline. The characters are interesting and well-developed. Siren and Smoke were both likable characters and they had amazing chemistry. There was plenty of action, drama, intrigue, suspense, emotions and steam. I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it!

Smoked is book five of the Invincibles and this is Smoke and Siren’s book. This book was action packed from beginning to end. This series gets better and better with each book and I can’t wait to read more.
Smoke and Siren are unbelievably perfect for each other, despite the hate that they thought they felt for each other. Their relationship is full of combustible passion that eventually burns into the best HEA. Between their love/hate fighting, the fabulously written plot, the action, the steam, and the twists and turns their story takes this book kept me on the edge of my seat wanting more.

This is the story of Siren and Smoke. They are paired up for a mission but she has some amnesia from the last assignment. To protect her until they figure out if her memory loss is permanent or temporary, Smoke plays along with being her lover since she only remembers the time they spent on an island together. What happens when Siren regains her memory? I enjoyed this exciting romance. I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Smoked is book 5 in the Invincible series by Heather Slade and oh my what a steamy, heart pounding, sexy book!
Up next is Smoke and Siren…she is shot during an op and has amnesia but remembers she and Smoke are in love…well maybe deep down. Smoke will do whatever it takes to help her get her memory back but they have had a love/hate relationship for a long time. When she does remember she takes off to parts unknown..what happens next will keep you on the edge of your seat, lots of twists, turns, suspense and what happens when they finally meet up again??
“Smoked” (The Invincibles Book 5) by Heather Slade is a terrific read. I loved “Smoke” Broderick and “Siren” Siobhan’s story. This is another wonderful addition to this series. This story has something for everyone, action, suspense, romance, passion, entertaining characters, and more. I can’t wait to see what happens next. Highly recommend to all fans of romance, action, suspense, and series.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book from the author. I really enjoyed reading this book. It had me captivated from the beginning. The characters were wonderfully written and had amazing chemistry between them. I would definitely recommend this book!
Smoked is one hot romantic suspense! It’s the story of Smoke, an independent contract intelligence agent, and Siren, a member of the IMI (Irish Military Intelligence). Both are working the same case when, after suffering amnesia from a head wound, Siren can only recall one specific event. Smoke takes the responsibility of Siren’s recovery to heart, and hopes for the best. As events from the past become entangled with the present, it will take several agencies, as well as Smoke and Siren, to discover the true identities of the traitors responsible for a string of deaths.
This author has written a tightly woven story with multidimensional characters that will have you on the edge of your seat, pulling an all-nighter reading Smoked. While you know that there will be an HEA ending, it doesn’t come easy for Smoke and Siren; but then, you wouldn’t expect it from them! In short, I loved it.
This book has explicit bedroom scenes and adult language and is written for adult reading entertainment.
5 stars!
Another fantastic story. .

I love Heather’s work she draws me in every time and I feel as though her characters become my friends while I read the story and I absolutely love how she brings past characters into each story While each story can be read as a stand alone do yourself a favour and read them all and I mean all her series as even some of these cross over.
Siobhan ‘Siren’ Gallagher is a member of IMI (Irish Military Intelligence) and has been working a case with Smoke who is former CIA but is now freelance. She is injured during the operation and is now suffering from Amnesia He knows that she will discharged from IMI if they knew before they even knew if the amnesia is permanent so he take her to his ranch where he hopes to retire eventually Siren thinks that they are lovers and he plays the part to keep her settles but when her memory returns she is mortified and flees him. Returning to Ireland and on sick leave she is given the job of searching for the Irish crown jewels while Smoke is working with the invincible’s` ion their case to bring down the traitors What happens when these cases intersect ad Smoke and Siren meet again You will have to read to see
Wow, I’m so speechless, I can’t explain how much I loved this book! The hate / love attraction between Sirens and Smoke is amazing! The plot keeps you enthralled with the twist and turn that this story has! A must read! I love this author!

Smoke and Siren’s story was so cute. A page turner for sure. Loved that they both had issues, but were there for each other. A great story!!
Amnesia Turned on its Head!!
I’ve read amnesia stories where one part of a couple cannot remember the relationship. I’ve never read one like this!! This was fabulous!! The couple in question here are actually partners who do not care for each other. Except one occasion where the sparks flew – and that is the one memory that our heroine remembers. The doctors say not to tell her as he is her only stability now.
Talk about awkward. Explores the thin line between love and hate. Both sides require passion.
The progression is entertaining and rather unpredictable.
There is more than the relationship here – there are bad people in high places that need to be taken down. Our various teams get involved and its Invincibles and K19 at their best. Splendid story!!
