As a mom with teenage children, it resonated with me.
It was just ok. Would have preferred more personal history of characters. Pretty vague. End just ended abruptly.
Superficial and boring
Entertaining story about modern relationships
Boring
I couldn’t finish this one. I didn’t find it uplifting at all. Asked myself why I was even spending time one this. So I started another book.
TERRIBLE. I was hoping to read an adult Judy Blume novel; instead, I got dated and boring trash. HUGE LET DOWN with no real plot development nor character interaction.
Couldn’t read it because of the foul language
It seems to me that all Judy’s women characters are a bit neurotic, but I enjoyed the book anyway.
I gave this 3 stars because I felt there was just too much angst with one of the main characters. It was just overdone!
I love, love, LOVE Jusdy Blume but I found this book very dated. (It could just be me.)
I was looking forward to reading a well-written, entertaining page turner by the renowned Judy Blum. How disappointing! It even took place in the town I lived in for 36 years, and even that couldn’t keep me interested enough to finish the book. The characters were cliches, the storyline trivial. I tried to like it, I really did.
Easy, fun read
The characters are just like people we all know. The storyline is engaging. I highly recommend it.
Great read! Entertaining and realistic story about life in the dating world!
this book was a sweet story about relationships . It seemed to me to be an adolescent book with a lot more sex added to it, The characters were not well developed.
Depressing
Always love Judy Blume books and this one is no exception . Great characters, fast read.
Have loved Judy Blume since I was a child. She never disappoints! As a divorced and remarried woman I was able to relate to this book in so many ways. My kids acted out in different ways also and it kind of put a light on my “why”. Wonderful read!!!
Loved it.
