From New York Times Bestseller Mimi Jean Pamfiloff comes SMART TASS, a new Romantic Comedy. He’s the hot college quarterback all the girls want. She’s the smart girl he loves to pick on.And now that they’re all grown up, things are about to get geekin’ ugly… my parade. When we were little, he’d pull my hair and call me names. When we were teenagers, he’d throw food and tease me for being a flat-chested virgin.
But now that we’ve ended up at the same college, he’s out of his hot head if he thinks he can keep messing with my life. It’s like he’s fixated on me or something. Well, guess what, Mr. Amazefootball? I’m not that geeky little girl anymore and you do not screw with a smart woman.
So what’s my plan?
It’s definitely wild, and he’s about to find out…

Great book. Humorous and sexy.
Hate that weird body on the cover. These two are way pathetic and annoying.
Cute fun read
I laughed out loud with this book, which makes it a 5 star 🙂 I bought the rest of the series, just bc everyone likes to laugh and this author writes well and IS funny.
I liked it, but I felt there was too much time bickering or just no connection in some places. I wanted to see what happened, but I think the book could have been a little more cohesive. Hunter’s point of view may have made it more explanatory and enlightening.
In trying to build suspense, the author created confusion instead, giving descriptions of events from the end first and not really tying up the details as she goes. Lots of editing errors, too. The book was entertaining, but not enough for me to go for the next book in the series.
I enjoyed how the relationship developed with Tass and Hunt.
Enjoyable but it seemed like Tass would be really back and forth about issues and then was immature when she didn’t understand what was going on. Got kind of annoying after a while
For teens
I can’t wait for the next book!
I love the fact that Tess was thinking one way & it was really her that was the problem
The story brought back memories of how it felt to be the brains of your class.
Tass and Hunter have known each other for years. He’s the jock and she’s the nerd! They loved to hate each other. Now in college they get the chance to help each other. Tass has to come to terms with her prejudices and behaviour. Hunter needs to win the girl he’s been in love with since age 5. Easy reading.
Sweet and enjoyable read.
Growing up Tass and Hunter were next door neighbors though they were never friends it was never a picnic either.
Hunter was the football player who always picked on smart and nerdy little Tass, but as far as he’s concerned she’s HIS nerd. When they wind up ad the same college and a bet places the now full blown enemies in each others cross hairs you are set for some massive fireworks. Maybe that extreme loathing is hiding something deeper that neither one can even admit to themselves.
Another fun and witty read from Mimi Jean that makes you laugh out loud, pull your own hair out, yell and root for her very human characters. I couldn’t put it down.
A fun, short read. Tassie is a nerd and Hunter is the star football player boy next door that tormented her for 13 years and after graduation, continues to harass her when they end up going to the same college. According to Hunt, Tassie is “his nerd” to play practical jokes on and basically make her life uncomfortable as he sees fit to, but heaven help the other jocks who may try to mess with “his nerd”! When Tassie and Hunt both are trying to pledge to their respective fraternity and sorority they come up with a mutual plan to get over their differences and help each other. Tassie soon learns Hunt isn’t as awful as she always told him he was and that maybe her perceptions of him were a little off.
The human condition is an amazing phenomenon…the lengths to which we will go to protect and preserve ourselves. *smiling and shaking head*
I absolutely love Tass and Hunter, even though this is not the kind of book I would normally go for, because the MCs are so young, but Mimi Jean Pamfiloff is one of my go-to authors so I figured I couldn’t go wrong. These two young adults made me laugh out loud, they broke my heart with their childish behavior and they mended it all back together when they decided to bare themselves to one another. There were some surprises to be sure, because after all it wouldn’t be a Pamfiloff story without them, but I love the side characters and the long history between them…forgiveness is a wonderful thing.
Touchdown! for book #1…I’m looking forward to more!
Enjoyable and funny
Love can take interesting turns. Harassment that really in a guy being protective.
Admitting that they really cared for each other for so long was really cute. Liked this but not as good as others from this author like the Fugly and King series.
Loved this book!
