From New York Times Bestseller Mimi Jean Pamfiloff comes SMART TASS, a new Romantic Comedy. He’s the hot college quarterback all the girls want. She’s the smart girl he loves to pick on.And now that they’re all grown up, things are about to get geekin’ ugly… my parade. When we were little, he’d pull my hair and call me names. When we were teenagers, he’d throw food and tease me for being a flat-chested virgin.
But now that we’ve ended up at the same college, he’s out of his hot head if he thinks he can keep messing with my life. It’s like he’s fixated on me or something. Well, guess what, Mr. Amazefootball? I’m not that geeky little girl anymore and you do not screw with a smart woman.
So what’s my plan?
It’s definitely wild, and he’s about to find out…

This is funny contemporary romance that challenges the characters. The characters are so different but they grow in their relationship. They must decide what in most important to them and how can they achieve it. It’s witty and keeps you guessing where their lives will lead them. I recommend this book.
Great opposites attract books. The Jock and the Geeky smart Girl. The quarterback of the football team and the straight-A student. Meet and attract to each other after a bet to sleep together. fun.
This book has been sitting idle on my kindle for over a year. I decided to give it a shot. It was great! I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great characters. Realistic portrayal of college age kids and how they behave.
great book
Boring
Every time I finish a book it seems like it’s my new favorite book. This was fan-freaking-tastic and so relatable. I loved, loved, loved Tass, the geeky, nerd girl and Hunter, the jock, with as many layers as an onion. I laughed and I almost cried during this book. It was awesome and the best part….it’s a series and I can’t wait to read them all. Smart Tass Mimi Jean Pamfiloff
This is the second book by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff that I have read, and there is just a delightfulness in her work. The dialogue is fun, witty and has a touch of innocence to it that invigorates and makes it impossible to put the book down. Add to this quirky, likeable characters who discover unexpected aspects of life, others and themselves. This is a thoroughly enjoyable book.
This jock, smart girl frenemies story, although I think she could use a little work in the steamy Dept, especially where virgins are concerned!! This was unpredictable, and rarely boring! I’ve read several of Pamfiloff’s lately and will happily pick up a few more here and there!!
This book brought my giggles out
Totally adored this book! It had all my favourite ingredients: college, humour, girl nerd, hot cocky jock, enemies-to-lovers, and intensity.
I was only a few pages in and I was already laughing!
“Intelligence is the only currency that matters. And Hunter Johnson is dumbass broke.”
Tass and Hunter are next-door neighbours. They were best friends until they went to kindergarten. Then Hunter thought he was too cool for the nerdy little girl. Tass, in turn, wouldn’t let it get to her. All through school, Hunter bullied her. Tass gave as good as she got. Let’s face it, he’s the dumb jock with a propensity for stupid pranks and humiliation, but she’s the girl genius with a dexterity for sharp words and dismissive remarks. She couldn’t wait to leave school and never see him again. Unfortunately, he followed her to college and is STILL ruining her life! Well, she’s had enough. She’s ready to fight back and give him a taste of his own medicine.
“Maybe I’m not as smart as I thought. At the very least, I’m lacking education. Education about people.”
However, circumstances has them striking a deal and, as they spend more time together, Hunter’s words and behaviour towards her has her questioning everything she believed to be true about their hate relationship, their past, and her ideals and outlook on life.
“When he looks at me, like right now – all serious – it makes me feel like he’s decided I belong to him.”
I devoured this book! Tass is sassy, smart-mouthed, and oblivious of her power over Hunter. Told from Tass’ POV, we get glimpses of the real Hunter through her eyes, so her growing confusion and horrified attraction to him is clear and plain to see. I thought the storyline was brilliant and I loved how the shocking revelations about their past were revealed. Hunter – oh, Hunter! He might come across as shallow, initially, but his real feelings for Tass slowly become evident, and we get a real sense of just how invested he is in her and her wellbeing. I found some of their interactions intense and thrilling! Like constantly being on the cusp of a telling revelation.
This novel had me laughing, melting, empathising, and sympathising. Totally adored it and thoroughly recommend it for those who love the NA genre.
So I’ve had this book on my Kindle for a while now, and I finally decided it was time to read Smart Tass. This was such an emotional story told only from Tass’ view, so you were not really sure until the very end that Hunter was as totally lost in Tass as she was in him. I have to say I couldn’t put it down until the very end. I’ll be buying the rest of the series soon.
This was the first book I ever read by this author and I have to say I was not disappointed. Loved it from start to finish.
This story was definitely not your average YA/sports romance. Yes it’s a bully book, yes it’s enemies to lovers, but what was truly different is it’s “unknown” bullying as I’ll like to call it.
Tassie truly is a smartass, sometimes to a point where I wanted to shake her and yell that she’s too much the stereotypical nerd, holier-than-thou, turn up her nose at the little people beneath her – bitchy princess who’s giving us – the smart down to earth (total plug) girls/women a bad rep. Even she realises this but still does it. This trait becomes quite annoying at times and made me question her intellect. And Hunter needed a voice out of Tassie’s head to really shine and not just be a two-dimensional character
Reading Ms Pamfiloff words are a genuine pleasure because it’s technically flawless. And with this story, she did a good job of wading through the mind of a girl, who to be honest was a product of her environment. Tass is truly an example of nurture creates your nature. We all tend to surround ourselves with like-minded people and sometimes shun people or cultures we don’t understand. Tassie and Hunter’s relationship is a testament to ripping the blinders off and seeing beneath a person’s facade and maybe finding a connection you can really hold onto.
The OHellNo series is something that I’ll be looking forward to reading more of.
An adorable read! Loved it!
The perfect college aged story line that I absolutely love!
Loved it! Fun sassy story. Read it in a day. Really enjoyed it then had to get the second book.
