I enjoyed this story, but it took me some time to get into it.
The same goes for the narrating. I adored Ryan West in the Masters and Mercenaries Series, but it took me quite some time to get used to the combination with CJ Bloom.

Jack and Sam are opposites in personality – Jack is dark, intense and in control whereas Sam is sunny, smiling, and jovial. And when Abby returns home to Willow Fork to take care of her mother after her recent surgery, she has an attraction to them. Only thing is she thinks that they are gay. Needless to say, this lends itself to a few humorous moments. And then there is Abby’s reputation and how the some members of the town treat her. Thankfully, Jack and Sam help her navigate through it all.
I’m glad the heroin finally got her happily ever after.
This was a beautiful story, borne from tragedy. Jack, Sam, and Abby share a beautiful love story. There’s plenty of heat between these three, but plenty of story.
This is the first book in the Texas Sirens series, and their story continues in the next book.
I highly recommend this!
This was a quick read and pretty predictable. I am glad her men stood up to the small minds in her small town.
This was the first book in the “Texas Siren” series. Abigail “Abby” Moore was run out of the small town of Willow Fork, TX 20 years ago with a bun in her oven. When her mother falls and breaks her hip Abby comes back to Willow Fork to care for her. While at her best friends house Christa she meets a hot sexy cowboy Sam Fleetwood. Jack Barnes and Sam Fleetwood have been friends for years they met in foster care years ago and they became best friends. They bought a ranch outside of Willow Fork and became rich when they discovered that the ranch is sitting on some kind of natural resource. When Jack meets Abby he wants her also but he didn’t think she could handle the two of them until they find out what type of books that she likes turns out she likes reading about BDSM and threesomes then all bets are off. They begin dating her Abby thinks that they are gay. I wanted more M/M in this book although it was still hot. The town is rude and nasty to Abby all because they think she is a whore the mother of her late boyfriend who got her pregnant I wanted to slap that old lady she was crazy she blamed Abby for her son dying in a car accident that he was killed in while driving drunk. It was also crazy that an old lady turned a whole town against her and I was so glad when Jack stood up to the steakhouse owner. I also liked that Abby decided to take a stand and the thing in the store was funny. When Ruby Echols threatened to ruin Jack’s business she tries to leave the guys but Jack wasn’t having it he knew something was wrong. This was a good read and the narrator was also good. I am looking forward to reading and listening to the next book in this series
All her books are great!
First book in this series and first I have read from this author. I absolutely loved it. I could not put it down unless I had to once I started reading it. I was blown away by the storyline and characters. The drama going on in this town was mind blowing and to have it go on for so long. There was a little suspense with this one which only added to the storyline. Abby comes back to town to take care of her mother. The town where she wasn’t wanted. Sam instantly falls for Abby and wants so much more from her than he saw coming. But there is someone holding him back. His partner on the ranch and best friend Jack. These two have been through a lot together and Sam knows that Jack will love Abby as much as he does but Jack is stubborn. Will things work out for all three of them? Or will Abby’s past break them apart? Hold on because you are going on quite the ride with these three. I loved this storyline and Abby, Jack and Sam. I cant wait to read the rest in this series.
Who are Abigail and Adam? Why does Abigail go to Christa’s home? Who is Mike? When Sam shows up and is introduced to Abby, what happens? I have learned I cannot stand Adam and Walter’s mother. On the other hand, I think Benita is the cat’s meow! She’s such a hoot when she and Abby get to talking about redecorating and food. What happens when Sam is told not to let Abby out of his sight by Jack? What series of events are set in motion in the story when they go to lunch? Read and see!

Jack and Sam are as close as brother after growing up together in foster care. They have moved forward in their lives to get everything they have wanted except the love of a women they both feel connected with. SMALL TOWN SIREN is the first instalment in Lexi Blake’s contemporary, adult TEXAS SIRENS erotic, BDSM, ménage romance series focusing on the men and women who are members of an upscale Dallas spa and resort known as The Club, which doubles as a BDSM club. This is thirty-two year old billionaire ranchers Jack Barnes and Sam Fleetwood, and thirty-seven year old, registered nurse Abigail ‘Abby’ Moore’s story line. The Texas Sirens series is a spin-off from the author’s NIGHTS IN BLISS, COLORADO series.
NOTE: SMALL TOWN SIREN is the re-release of the 2010 book authored by Sophie Oak aka Lexi Blake with new content.
WARNING: SMALL TOWN SIREN contains scenes of M/F/M ménage, and BDSM sexual situations that may not be suitable for all readers.
Told from several third person perspectives including Jack, Sam and Abby SMALL TOWN SIREN follows Abby Moore from age seventeen to thirty seven, from a high school pregnancy to the town whore, to a woman who must return to the town that pushed her away. Her mother’s fall and subsequent recovery finds Abby struggling to fit into a town whose people aren’t willing to give anyone a second chance. Desperate for money when no one would hire her, Abby Moore would become the talk of the town when she began working at the local diner. Meeting ranchers Jack Barnes and Sam Fleetwood meant a second chance for Abby Moore, a chance that would all but be destroyed by the locals who never wanted our heroine to return. What ensues is the building relationship and love between Jack, Sam and Abby, and the potential fall-out as Abby is willing to sacrifice her happiness to protect the men that she loved.
Jack Barnes and Sam Fleetwood met, and grew up in the foster care system. Working together, they purchased one of the largest ranches in Willow Fork, Texas, a ranch that is desperately in need of a woman’s love. Abby Moore’s return to Willow Fork came with the trepidation and humiliation of sins of the past, sins for which she continues to pay over twenty years later.
The relationship between Abby, Jack and Sam is one of immediate attraction. Sam and Jack know immediately that Abby is the woman whom they are willing to share; to marry and with whom to grow old. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense. There are scenes of discipline, spanking and whipping, as well as M/F/M sexual situations.
The secondary and supporting characters include the requisite small-minded townies who are unable to let go of the past. Abby never deserved the reputation accorded by years of gossip but a reputation that continued to grow, fed by a woman unable to forget what she lost and how. We are introduced to Abby’s daughter Lexi, and her mother Diane Moore; her friend and diner owner Christa and Mike; Sam and Jack’s housekeeper Benita Wells; and Ruby Echols, a woman considered the town matriarch.
SMALL TOWN SIREN is a story of discrimination and prejudice; of vengeance and heart break; of lust, love, second chances and happily ever after. There is always a bit of a struggle to accept the actions of people who consider themselves above the law but such is the life of many a small town America. The premise is inviting; the romance is tender, captivating and seductive; the characters are colorful and energetic. SMALL TOWN SIREN is a great start to the Texas Sirens series.
5 Star Review Small Town Siren (Texas Sirens #1) by Sophie Oak
Although I have read all of Lexi Blake’s books I had not read any of her Sophie Oak books and I have to ask myself why.
Many years ago Abby was run out of town, alone, frightened, pregnant and warned never to return to small down Willow Fork, TX.
Fast forward nearly 20 years and she has returned to look after her mother. Still unwanted and harassed by many in the town Abby is determined to ignore them.
When she meets best friends and partners in a cattle ranch, Jack Barnes and Sam Fleetwood, her thoughts immediately turn to the naughty books she reads, even though she believes them to be gay.
Unbeknownst to Abby, Sam is immediately attracted to her and tells Jack that he thinks she could be the one. But will their taste for kink be too much for her? Will Abby dare to risk being the centre of town gossip yet again by becoming involved with both men?
I fell for all of the characters and loved the dynamics between Jack, Sam and Abby.
There was romance, suspense and so much steam coming off my reader that I was riveted from the first chapter.
This will be another fantastic series to dive into and I cannot wait for the next release.
It had been a long ago I read this book for the first time. Now that the authors had recovered and added new content I had to read again. Not disappointed. Now I remember what I loved about this book and the three main characters.
