I enjoyed this book from start to finish. Can’t wait to read the next in the series.
Good easy to read story.
Was a good easy book to read
Very complicated and some real credibility issues… but an interesting read.
Tragedy broke the group up …. and dedicating a field to a false hero brings all the elements back together. Add to it a side story on migrant workers and a questionable newsman. two current relationships in a mess because of hidden lust from the past. It all works …
I think I’ve found a new author to latch onto. Margaret Watson is a self-described storyteller. And she know how to tell ones that you fall in love with. In Small-Town Secrets, Kendell and Gabe each have deep feelings for each other from one night many years ago. But a car accident involving Gabe and Kendell’s husband keeps them apart until Gabe …
Very well written. Enjoyed it
Old friends from small town learn secrets about their lives and face the future to find forgiveness and happiness.
The title should be woe is me…….
This book was a disaster of epic proportions. I got to about to 65-75% before I started skipping in attempt to locate dialogue. Half the book is each character’s inner monologue of their fears, anger, lust and utter stupidity.
I can say with the utmost certainty that I did not like one character in this book. …
Really enjoyed this book.
Absolutely loved this book, I couldn’t put it down. The story was quite true to life and realistic.
Not convincingly Door County. Cherry trees and shoreline (sometimes stony, other times sand castles?) don’t set the stage sufficiently. Minor changes in place names are understandable, but if it’s a “Door County” series, know the locale and let it play a role. Disappointing.
A great read. Love small town stories.
Great reading with some surprise twists in the plot.
Enjoyed seeing the good guy win.
I needed to read Small-Town Secrets. Not only because it is a romance but because I needed to read a book that had a simple plot. I needed a book where I didn’t have to keep intricate notes. I got that in Small-Town Secrets.
Small-Town Secrets is a book about reconciling the past with the present. It also shows what the power of forgiveness does. …
LOVE this book. The characters, the twists, the story itself. A winner. One of those books I’ll get back to often when I want that cozy feeling of being wrapped on a soft blanket by the lake in a calm autumn day.
A very pleasant read
Awesome book
Absolutely LOVED this book. Lots of secrets and very entertaining! I wanted to take Kendall and just shack her cause she could of had so much so much sooner. Gabe was the most incredible man ever. Carter, Kendall’s husband and Gabe’s best friend was killed in a car accident that Kendall blamed Gabe for killing her husband and father of her two …
Everyone has secrets, but the characters in this book have more than their share. They have not been able to leave the past behind and get on with living a full life. This book is so well written and the characters are likable and realistic. There are lots of twists and surprises.
I encourage you all to read this. You will not be disappointed.
