Without a plan in place and only a hundred dollars to my name, this big city girl born in a small town world headed for the bright lights of city life. Four years later, I may have more money in my bank account, but somehow I’ve found myself back in another small town trying to build a life. Even though the residents of Fayhill have welcomed me like one of their own, this is only a detour, not a … detour, not a final destination.
Then I met Shane Abbott.
What’s a girl to do when a certain dark-haired dimpled cowboy, who fills out a pair of jeans like it’s his job and with a smile that sets my soul on fire, has me considering burning my map?

The bright lights of city life never appealed to me. I like the quiet of small town life, and my hometown of Fayhill fits me to a T.
I never expected to meet Mercy Warner.
Love is the last thing on my mind. These days I work hard and mind my own business. So when a certain honey-haired spitfire blows into town, I take another look.
She may claim small town life isn’t for her, but the way she’s settling in tells me she might be open to the option. Refusing to let this opportunity to pass me by, I take another chance and put my small town heart on the line.
Surely the draw of the big city won’t burn me twice . . .

Such a wonderful and sweet romance!
This book had it all! Small town romance – check. Quirky but adorable female – check. Hot sexy cowboy – check. Crazy ex – check. Slow burn – check. Fun supporting characters – multiple checks!
Mercy has her heart set on moving to Austin. Fate steps in changes her plans for the moment. She lands in Vera’s diner and you will be SO glad she did. Vera is funny and wise and just what Mercy needs. Vera’s cook, Sam and the town mechanic, Earl also add some charm and humor to the story.
Mercy also isn’t looking for a relationship. Fate may have other plans in that regard as well. Meet Shane – a hot, sexy cowboy who Mercy doesn’t want to be attracted to. But come on, who dosen’t love a sexy cowboy! Shane definitely has his eye on Mercy. There’s some slow burn, cat and mouse action between the two and you’ll find yourself rooting for things to work out.
Constance (the ex-girlfriend formerly known as Connie Lynn) rolls back into town looking to cause some trouble. You’ll love to hate her. And also feel sorry for her a bit.
A sweet, slow burn, small town romance that will suck you in and keep you reading until the end! This author is a master at this and her books never disappoint!
Small Town Hearts was an expanded version of her novella, Mercy, I wasn’t able to be read it since it was on the kindle world, so this story was completely new to me. I started reading Andrea’s work with The break series and there hasn’t been a book of hers I didn’t like yet.
Small town hearts had be laughing out load, Mercy and Shane were just adorable. I couldn’t put down this novel, and i really can’t wait for more of this authors work.
I’ve never lived in a small-town before, but after reading Small-Town Heart, I can tell you that I want to. From the very first page, I was drawn in and invested in Shane and Mercy’s story. My heart melted over their first meeting. I swooned hard over their first kiss, and I loved how they fought to make their long-distance relationship work. They weren’t perfect and they definitely had their ups and downs but their one constant was how much they loved one another. However, the thing about small towns is that you don’t just get invested in the main characters, you also get invested in all the secondary characters. Every single person in the town of Fayhill captured my heart and I truly can’t wait to find out what happens next. For those of you who read Mercy, I can tell you that Small-Town Heart is a complete standalone. It’s a slow-burn and has tons of angst that will have you anxiously flipping the pages to find out what happens next. Don’t miss out on this incredible small-town romance!
This was such a good book! Mercy is trying to escape the town that she was from when her car broke down. Sidelined until her vehicle could be repaired, she develops feelings for Shane and the residents of a small town just like the one she is trying to escape. Love the supporting cast of characters that are always present in this author’s stories! Will she stay, or will she be drawn to the big city that she has always dreamed about?
Thank you for the privilege of reading this book! Well done!
